Hey Juan Burritos

I have been enjoying Hey Juan Burritos for nearly 10 years. I have always loved it for the burrito slinging place it is. Did I mention the mimosas! AMAZING! My favorite order is the Super Nacho Burrito with a Sunrise Mimosa! I’d also like to note the house made white queso, it’s a must try! The restaurant has gone through many changes over the years and my experience has only ever improved. The current owners go above and beyond for their customers, I often enjoy chatting it up when I come in. The employees are kind and helpful too, even when they are very busy. Recently, a mural has been added to the inside of the restaurant. It is gorgeous. A vivid world scrawled across the walls, warm and inviting. If you haven’t ever been, or if it’s been a while, or if you went yesterday, I highly recommend choosing Hey Juan Burritos for your next dining experience! Breakfast Lunch or Dinner! BURRITO!

We always stop here at least once when we come into town. Last night we ordered 4 meals. 3 perfect! 1 had a slight issue that they immediately and politely corrected. No question. Thanks Hey Juan’s!

This place is great! The food is always tasty. The people are always nice and friendly. I highly recommend the deluxe vegan burrito! With verde salsa, black beans, cabbage and lettuce, hold the crema, if you want to get it my favorite way :-D

The food is great. Something I noticed is that they have add-ons that are free, even if they say otherwise. The onions and cilantro are examples.

I would recommend the bean rice and cheese burrito. It is large and filling for its price, so overall a good item

Amazing food and wonderful vegan and vegetarian options. Lots of people ordered ahead and got their food quicker, which might be worth doing. Definitely recommend this place for a yummy and healthy place to eat! Staff was also very friendly.

Came here with seven family members two of them being Yorky teacup puppies. The 5 burritos in the bag and the bacon cup for two puppers were heavy being made with dedication. Totally recommend if you are hungry and want to be served to full fill!!!

Hey Juan Burritos is an Arcata gem. If you're looking for authentic mexican cuisine, look elsewhere. If you're looking for an amazing burrito, $3 pint of local beer, and the coziest colorful hole in the wall - this is the place for you! You have to love this place for what it is and forget all the things that it isn't. Their rockfish burrito is out of this world. Their cilantro lime crema makes everything better. Kind staff, welcoming atmosphere, good eats, and cheap beers, seltzers and mimosas. What more could you want?

This place is a local gem. The service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. Try the "paste of death" sauce if you're looking for something on the hotter side.

I mean what can you say, if you want a bomb burrito this is the place! I can’t answer for all of them but I can for those looking for vegan/plant based options. The vegan burritos are legit! Added jalapeños and verde sauce it really hit the spot. It is take out only at this time but as long as the food is great that’s all that matters. They have drinks to go as well! Lots of vegan, vegetarian and regular options for all!

They recently changed their recipes and are now one of the best burritos in Humboldt! If you've been whatever about this place in the past, I urge you to try the new and improved Hey Juan!

This is my 3rd time going after a friend has worked there half a decade ago. New owners now but the super nacho vegetarian burrito was pretty good. I remember it being better before but my friend ordered for me and got the world so next time I'll hopefully do better at ordering. They have vegan and vegetarian specific options and are pretty affordable for a rich beach college town. They even let me use their restroom altho I don't know if that was different then usual during the heavy pandemic. Good place to find in Arcata!

Visiting from out of state, was looking for a good brunch and we found Hey Juan’s!

Burritos were amazingly good, the death paste salsa was amazing to eat with the burritos and the guys provided great service even with all the Covid -19 restrictions.

Thanks guys for some delicious fresh food for a quick bite during our site seeing!

I gotta believe the food was ahhh-mazing considering the smiles on everyone's faces 🙂 Unfortunately I wasn't hungry 😭
But I will be back!! Cuz I loved this place 2o+ years ago, it's still around, and people are still requesting it when I offer to grab em lunch somewhere!

Love the vegetarian nacho burrito. Largest one is definitely worth the $10. Good people here too.
