Nor Cal Storage

I have had a storage unit with Bobbie and Mark for 12+ years! They are as nice as they come. The units are clean and insulated. They keep the area well groomed and under a watchful eye. I love these guys! If I ever need to get a unit again in Redding I would go back in a heart beat. Highly recommend!!

Although this review is very belated, it has no bearing on my view of this company.
A little over a year ago I had to find a storage in an area of northern CA where I could be assured my RV would be safe for the winter, just in case I sold my house in WA in the winter and needed snow-free access to my RV for short-term living.
I was fortunate enough to connect with NorCal Storage. I arrived in Oct '22 and was warmly greeted by both owners. I confessed to needing help backing my trailer in to the area they had assigned to me. The owner's uncle was on-site and was more than happy to help me.
In late December of '22 I did indeed need to use my RV for temp. living and arrived to find 2 dead house batteries in my RV. The owner (I'm sorry I can't recall names) helped me problem-solve how, where, and then to install new batteries.
Where else would you find this kind of friendly helpful service in a RV storage facility?
The grounds of the storage are clean, flat, immaculate and extraordinarily secure. This applies whether you are renting a storage unit or renting space for an RV. The rates are in line with all other storage units I contacted (9 others sites.)
I hope I never have to store my RV 2 states away to avoid local weather conditions but if I needed RV storage in northern CA for any reason, I would definitely call Nor-Cal Storage first.

My boys have a storage here. Wish one of these storage units would be available 24/7 but it's safe clean and never had any problems whatsoever. So...Def recommended.

My husband and I have been customers of Nor Cal Storage for almost 8 years. The owners have made sure that our stuff stays secure the environment clean and easy to access. Not too long ago my husband's keys were stolen along with our storage key. We called the owner to let us in and within ten minutes he arrived from home and generously cut our lock off and gave us a new one to use along with two sets of keys. We highly recommend Nor Cal Storage.

Nor Cal Storage was very accommadating for me when I needed a last minute place to store my boat during the Carr Fire. The owners allowed me to store my boat no questions asked for several weeks while I was evacuated. The owners also refused to let me pay for emergency storage as well. Business is a total class act and would not hesitate to do business with them in the future.

This place is clean and secure with friendly staff. I've used them a few times, and would definitely come back. Other storage places in town could learn a thing or two from them. Kinda out of the way if you don't live on that side of town, but they are right off the highway, so it is quick to get to.

This storage facility is top grade!!!! I highly recommend one of the best rates in town! They are fenced, have cameras, the owners and workers are very friendly..... this is a storage you can have piece of mind when storing your valuables.... well worth the money!!!! The inside of the office is awesome too!

Mark was easy to work with and always glad to see us. We felt at home whenever we were there; which was often. Highly recommended.

When we needed a place right away these people were there . To store a 45 foot sea container well they had no problem with it at all. Thank you

Its farther out of town (not by much) but the grounds are newer, clean and well kept. They have good security and the owners were kind, helpful and honest. I would rent a space from them again. The only feedback I have is I wish they had more of the smaller, popular size units available.
