Oaxaca Grill

Nice atmosphere, excellent service, super friendly staff. The salad bar was fresh and lots of options, I could go there just for that but if corse I had to try a menu option since it was our first time there. Hubs got the chimichanga with a side of molé sauce, and I went out on a limb and selected the Huarache combo, polenta base topped with the carnitas, radish pico and avocado salsa with rice & beans. Also has horchata, very happy. So tasty!!! So filling!! I had to sample my partners molé and all the flavors were hitting. I’ve already decided I’m getting the chicken molé next time we visit. Great spot in Henderson Center, Eureka!

We are so happy we found this place. Great and honest Mexican food. We had the burrito which was delicious! And tried their specialty: Mole - an amazing sauce. The service was outstanding, we felt welcomed from the first second until the very end.

Wonderful restaurant, wonderful food, wonderful service! We stepped in with a large group, and didn’t realize it was within a half hour of closing. However the owners insisted on taking care of us at the big table and we had an excellent meal, with great conversation.

The portions were huge, half of us had to go boxes. We ended up finishing up nearly 30 minutes past closing time, but everything was fresh, delicious, made with love. The couple that owns the restaurant and their staff are great. Well worth the visit!

I loved my meal here. I'm from Oakland and we have lots of good Mexican food but I still think if this restaurant were in my town I'd be picking it over most other places on a regular basis. I got the fish tacos and they were great, but the thing that struck me was that the beans and rice weren't a kind of throw-away add-on, they were actually one of the best parts of the meal. Everything was just done with care and tasted so fresh. Eat here!!

All the stars! My husband and I went here for lunch and it was excellent, he said it was the best Mexican food he's had. The beans tasted amazing, the tortillas were delicious like both were made there. The gentleman who took our order was wonderful and as we paid he told us about how he cooks at home, and how well his daughter cooks too. Everything he said was genuine. We intend to go back for certain and are very glad we found this gem.

One of my favorite restaurants around. They always remember you and are very welcoming. The chips and salsa are the best around. I use to always order the fish tacos with mango salsa which is also the best. One day I tried the garlicky prawn quesadilla and I’ve never had anything like it! Its is so perfectly garlicky with lots of grilled onion and served with the mango salsa. It is seriously so unique and delicious. I highly recommend you coming here. It’s fast, friendly and sooo good!!

My favorite Mexican food in Humboldt. The food is great, high quality, authentic, is served quickly, and comes out hot. The service is quick and friendly. I love that they are family owned and operated and over the last few decades of coming here, they make me feel like family too. Their hot salsa is phenomenal (my favorite ever) and if I'm making Mexican food at home, I will stop by and buy a container of their salsa because it is just hands down the best. I 10/10 recommend.

Best Mexican food! I love their spicy mole enchiladas but they have so many wonderful options. Everything is made fresh and you can tell it’s made with so much love. The service is always 5 stars whether we eat in the restaurant or take an order to go. Don’t pass this place up if you haven’t been there! It has become my favorite place to get food. Definitely recommend! 😍

This place is your quintessential small town delight. Very friendly staff, delicious food, and we heard the hostess and waiter recognize and confirm dishes for 4 guests coming in, while we were eating. We tried a few things, all fabulous. A chicken burrito, a gordita prensada (corn masa covered in a blend of delicious veggies) - fresh and delicious , and finally the chile ajo (pork & cactus slow cooked with yellow chiles) - OMG AMAZING!

Great food, glad someone recommended this place while I was in town! The other place I went to the previous day wasn't nearly as good. Today I had the garlic prawn burrito and it was fantastic, very unique too! The guy working there was super friendly too, this is the kind of place I love supporting!

Lovely service, the staff are so kind and friendly. More than anywhere else I've eaten in this county, they make you feel like you are really part of a community. The food is also fantastic! We love eating here!

We decided to go here on a whim based on past reviews and some light research, and are so happy we found this place. It was hands down the best service, and most authentic Mexican cuisine we’ve ever had. The pictures don’t do justice to the deliciousness of the food! Sometimes Mexican food bothers our stomachs, but not this time. It was delicious and I feel refreshed from this experience!

Exceeded our expectations.

The owner, who served us and his wife who made our delicious food, are very detail oriented.

Their kindness and awareness to our visit was quite impressive, unlike any other Mexican restaurant we've ate at in Eureka.

PS, we had the Huarache with Pork in Green Salsa, 2 fish tacos with the Avo topping and of course, some Micheladas.

Medium size generic strip mall space with murals of stone Aztec gods and Mexican music. Good American style salad bar. Fresh tortilla chips with two mild salsas in dressing dispensers with small dipping bowls. Cloth napkins!
All tables are clean and set with a friendly waiter seating us. Large menu with some unusual items, many with mole. We ordered spicy chicken mole with salad bar and vegetarian sopes.
The mole was very spicy. Just two corn tortillas included, but were soft and flavorful, like hand made. Rice was semi sticky and excellent, beans were whole and wet. No garnish, pico, or crema on combo plate. Very little cheese sprinkles on beans and sopes. A large portion of chicken breast is completely covered in mole.
Better than many other sit down Mexican Restaurants in Eureka. We spent about forty bucks after tax and before tip for two meals and drinks. Will return to try other menu items.

This place makes you feel like family. The food is so delicious. The sopes are my favorite!

Had a wonderful lunch - an authentic dish from Oaxaca- Tetela - very nice family owned restaurant with a dedication to bring the foods and recipes of Oaxaca to life in Eureka - Antonio mentioned the mole, which Oaxaca is known for, has over 50 ingredients and takes 3 days to prepare - surfers from around the world travel to Oaxaca for the waves - drop in and see why they rave about the food after they have been there !

What a great place to eat. Your main dish comes with soup, and it comes out fast. service super polite and they work fast. Worth every penny and more. This is definitely the most authentic Mexican food I've eaten in California. Rice and beans....chicken mole enchiladas... guaraches.... 🤌🤌🤌

Downright best mole sauce I have ever had. This is a family business that offers excellent Mexican Oaxaca food even for vegetarian! A must try if you visit Eurika.

Highly recommend. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. It’s everything you want in a neighborhood restaurant.
