VCA Care Animal Hospital

Absolutely love this place. Everyone was super friendly. The vet techs and vet were so accommodating and met my dog on his level, literally sitting on the ground with him for his exam. They were very patient as my 62lb dog decided to melt onto the floor instead of cooperate with the exam. They were extremely thorough and flexible with treatment options. It was our first time there and we got a little welcome package for our dog which was super cute. It had a baggie holder with bags, education pamphlets, and a sample of a new flea and tick medication. We look forward to coming here with both of our dogs.

I had a great experience here with my cat Bug. My wife and I haven’t been living in Redding long when we had a situation with our cat that we felt best going to have him seen by a vet. The staff at VCA was very caring and excellent to work with. I wanted to take a moment and publicly thank them and encourage anyone seeking a vet to check them out!

I’ve been coming to CARE for almost ten years now with a couple of different pets and to say that they go above and beyond is an understatement. They ALWAYS take care of your pets and make sure that they get the best care. The staff, the doctors and the front desk team is always so welcoming and ready to help. Little side note I recently had to go to VCA on hilltop by iHop because one of my doggies got bit by a rattlesnake. There was a guy in particular that was part of treating him and ultimately saving his life. I don’t usually go there because CARE has been our home but I was surprised to see when I brought my new kitten in that Dustin was now at this location! We love you guys! Thank you for taking such good care of our little family!

This place is great Jamie was very informative over the phone and got me in same day for a emergency shot we needed in order to board our puppy later in the week. Everyone was extremely friendly and seemed happy to be there. Would definitely recommend.

We had to bring our Kitty in without an appt and the staff was very friendly and helpful in working us in. The vet was amazing and the compassion and care was top notch!

A different visit...this time for my 10 yr old dog. I couldn't have asked for better care! The compassion and care they provided my baby girl was far beyond exceptional! And their extreme kindness to this anxious owner will never be forgotten! Thank you to the entire staff!!

Our dog got into the Lysol when she was a 6-month-old puppy and they took her and immediately gave her an ultrasound got the charcoal in her they did everything they could and they saved her life period and I know this doesn't mean a lot but you have to bring it up price is a concern we don't like to admit it, but it is a concern when you're dealing with pets. Our pet is a German Shepherd and just turned 1-year-old. We wouldn't have her if it wasn't for the quick thinking of this hospital and for that I will always be grateful.... 💞❤

So thankful for these amazing people. My 7month old Cana corso had a heat stroke and they saved her life and I'm so thankful for them. They went above and beyond what they needed to do so was able to get the care she needed. I can't thank u all enough.

Very professional and caring. Dani is amazing and a great communicator. They were all so patient with us when we had to say goodbye to our dog. If you can't get an appointment, please don't get upset at them. There is a vet shortage. They are doing the best they can. Thank you Care Animal Hospital for all you did for us.

Initial phone visit to book my 9 yr old lab went incredibly smooth thanks to Laura. I didn’t have to wait 6 months out for my fur baby who has terminal cancer and see her to talk about comfort care in just several days. Impressive so far.

I am SO grateful for these people!! My dog, Angus, who is a patient here, had a sudden onset of facial swelling and was not doing well. We were prepared to take him to a walk-in clinic but I decided to take a chance and call to see if they could help. The tech talked to the vet and they told us to bring him in right away and he'd get seen between appointments. They took excellent care of him and put my mind at ease. I can't say enough about the level of compassion and caring that this clinic has for its patients. I am overwhelmed with gratitude!!!

When we switched from our other vet to Care we were worried about them. We were with our other vet for 13 years, they treated us like we were family and they cared for our pets. When we got to the Care Hospital for our first appointment, we were very nervous. When we walked up to the reception desk, this nice young lady was there with a really friendly smile. Then she started talking to us like we have been there for years. We are not rich people, an their prices are really down to earth. But when we were roomed, there was a another sweet girl. But the most important thing was that our little boys really like her. This was great. Then the vet came in and she was wonderful, she answered our questions and took the time responding to our pets. This was wonderful, but the sad part is that they know now that when we go there, sometimes they get their shots, but they still like to give the vet kisses. The other great thing is that they gave the military a small discount. knowing that they gave this discount and the wonderful care they gave our little boys, this make them the GREATEST !!! Keep up the great job!!!

We purchased a S.A.F.E neutering certificate, which directed us to Care Animal Hospital. I'm so glad it did! The staff was friendly and helpful, and made me feel completely at ease with our kitty getting his procedure done there. They made everything very clear and easy. There was one staff member who seemed less than pleased to be there, but her overall demeanor couldn't dampen the otherwise great experience. Thanks, Care Animal Hospital!

I started going to Care Animal Hospital back when they were All Cats and have always had great care from all the staff. I really appreciated how attentive and caring they were. They always treated me and my cats like family and knew us by name. They always made sure each vet visit was as comfortable and stress-free as possible for my fur-babies. I loved the office cat as well - he was such a cutie and so friendly and welcoming! 5 stars all-around - great office, great hours, great staff, great price & great care! Thank you 😊

It was my dog's time to go (West highland terrier with lung problems) and I could not have asked for a more professional, caring staff. They genuinely helped me get through what is always a difficult experience for pet owners. This happened quite some time ago and the kindness of the staff still sticks with me.

Such nice people! Excellent knowledgeable staff and very reasonable prices. Our dog had blood in her urine and a mass in her bladder. We feared it was a tumor. However, the veterinarian successfully identified it as a severe bacterial infection and we dodged a bullet WITHOUT surgery. Bleeding stopped, mass is gone, and she is perfectly back to normal. We are more than pleased! Excellent, A+++ experience!

Great service!!! Very affordable compared to other veterinarians. I called in to inquire about same day appointment. I was offered two that day. I was very impressed with the entire staff. Very pet-family oriented. They took care of my dog's eye immediately and did not try to up sale me on anything. They even called me a few days after my visit to check on how Sammy's eye was doing. I highly recommend you check them out. We will definitely be bringing all of our dogs & cats to Care Animal Hospital.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I’m trying to catch and spay some feral cats in my neighborhood. Jamie was more then helpful! She had great advice for catching them, very caring demeanor and I could tell the staff truly cares for the animals. I’ll definitely be back, they’re so nice!!

The staff is very friendly and understanding! They took great care of our adored pet on a moments notice! The doctor was nice enough to help with treatment returning our pets comfort same day! We really couldn't have been happier with the service we recieved. We highly recommend Care Animal Hospital of Redding!
