Redding Collegiate Academy

Redding Collegiate Academy is a great school for your children. I am a former student of this school and I am speaking so from my own experience. The staff are very friendly and there are a bunch of different classes to choose from. Some of my favorites include Agricultural Mechanics, Life Skills and Archery. The students are easy to get along with and the teachers adjust to the students pace of learning. I recently graduated after being enrolled throughout high-school and an currently in college. My 1st grader and kindergartener attend RCA. We have been here since my son was in TK. Overall this is a great school with amazing amenities. What really makes this school a must for us is the $100 a month extracurricular payment per child. There’s a list of vendors to choose from and RCA pays for the activities during the school year. My children are able to do tennis and dance with no cost to us and it’s been so wonderful seeing them enjoy so many activities. I also love the onsite enrichment classes the school offers two days a week. The teachers are all great and excellent with communication. They put in a huge effort to make school enjoyable for students, and you can really see that they care a lot. Chuck is also a great principle and takes the time to hear any concerns parents may have. My kids love every teacher and aide here. The front office is always welcoming and friendly. This style of learning really works for our family and we look forward to our future here.
Cons: - I wish you could split the vendor budget between two different vendors. I believe you used to be able to and now you can’t. And more onsite classes for younger kids would be nice. That’s really our only complaints. :)

My son transferred to Redding Collegiate midway through the school year. It was an overwhelming decision at the time but Chuck Siegel, the Principal, and all of the staff were very helpful. The decision to transfer to Redding Collegiate ended up being the best thing that could have happened to my son’s 1st grade education. The flexibility of the program is great for families with non traditional work schedules. I was able to be more involved with his academics than our previous school experiences.

I would highly recommend Redding Collegiate Academy.

My son goes here. Its made a world of difference. He isn't able to hide in the background because he gets so much one on one time. He seems to be thriving here and it's his first year. I also worry less because he's not in a public school.
