Capital Heights Pharmacy is the best pharmacy I’ve ever used!! In the past I’ve always used CVS and depending on the area I’ve lived in it was mostly okay. Mostly. I moved to Congress Park a year and a half ago and at first stuck with the CVS in the area just because it was familiar. Well, that location had some issues, so I figured I’d give Capital Heights a try, having heard only great things about their service. I have only ever been blown away by the kindness and care everyone there shows me and my family. I’ve worked a lot with Olive & Jess and they are both just fantastic at what they do! Capital Heights is definitely the place to get your prescriptions if you want to get individualized care with a heart! I can’t recommend there services more highly!

Review for the pharmacy:
Calls go straight to a pharmacy worker, not someone at a corporate call center. I had an issue with medication due to a manufacturer change. I thought there would be more regulation on how medications are manufactured? Anyways, this pharmacy was ready and laid out clear path forward to get my issue resolved. The staff here is always kind and friendly too.

This is hands down the best pharmacy I have ever used. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. There's really no comparison between the service you get here vs other big name pharmacies in the area. Also it has a full liquor store? Incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. Shop local my friends.

These guys are the absolute best. I appreciate their help and responsiveness and personal attention that is non existent at chain pharmacies. Kristin, Olive, Carly and team—you all rock!

I switched to this pharmacy after having several issues with my children’s RX’s at a chain pharmacy and I couldn’t be happier. Having two kids with medical needs, I now don’t have to worry about them running out of their RX’s. And the staff is always caring and friendly. I’m also glad I can support a locally owned business vs a chain.

I can’t say enough good things about Capital Heights Pharmacy! Tucked away in the back of a local liquor store, that also carries an array of local products, this pharmacy is a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, the pharmacy staff treats you like family, always knowing you by name.

What really sets this place apart is their genuine care. They always go above and beyond.And what really resonates with me is their inclusive and non-judgmental atmosphere. They foster a safe environment, which is both refreshing and comforting to see in a healthcare setting.

If you’re looking for a pharmacy where you’re more than just a prescription number, look no further.

This is the best pharmacy ever!! Amazing staff who always takes care of your needs…I can get ginger ale and crackers when someone is sick and beer and chips when I’m having people over..also a great spot for local products. A great asset to the neighborhood!

We love this pharmacy! They work with you on medicine shortages and are super helpful. We previously used a big box chain nearby, and they were a NIGHTMARE. Such a difference at Capitol Heights!

HUGE!!!!! shout out to the pharmacy staff, wish there was 10 STARS to give you. I have worked with them many times as s nurse with my clinic always friendly, kind and helpful, can tell they are smiling even over the phone. Yesterday I went for personal need for medicine for my child. Yes, they are smiling even in person. Again so helpful and kind, medication was ready, so with little one in tow I did not have a long wait. When I got home to give my child the first dose of her medicine is when this pharmacy GLOWED in my eyes. They went over the top. The medication being liquid, the bottle was already to go with a syringe ready cap (at other pharmacies I always have to do my own and the caps never fit right) and to top it off a red line/marker was placed on the syringe to show where the medication should be drawn up to for correct dose. As a MOM with young children this is so helpful since everything in life is done quickly so having an easy to determine reference makes things much simpler, it also made me happy that anyone that may have a hard time seeing those tiny numbers on syringes have a clear indicator. This pharmacy, Jess, Kristen, Carly and everyone are the BEST and have won me over as my pharmacy of choice!!!! THEY ARE AMAZING!!!

Love love love this pharmacy and store. The pharmacy rarely has lines and the pharmacy techs and pharmacist are so friendly and helpful. And so are the store employees! I go in about 1x per week and I actually look forward to this errand because of the people that work here. I love supporting this local neighborhood place as well. I highly recommend transferring to this pharmacy. They are also very communicative if they are getting a shipment of your meds later than planned (which doesn’t happen as often as I have experienced with big pharmacies). Love this place!

The pharmacists are always beyond helpful and knowledgeable. They have gone above and beyond to resolve issues getting my RX filled (Jess especially!). The location is conveniently located and it’s easy to get my prescriptions refilled quickly. My favorite small business pharmacy in Denver!

Got great new hearing aids here that stay in my ears even when doing outdoor activities. Chris was very patient explaining my options and recommending a solution. Instantly loved these, especially compared to previous models from different dispensers.

I’ve been coming here since pre-covid and I love it. Is it weird to love my local pharmacy? If it is, I don’t care. Everyone who has helped me behind the pharmacy counter has been great! They also have OTC and household items available. They might be a bit more expensive but if you’re in a bind or want to save a trip to Target it’s convenient to have the option available.

It’s on a busy little corner but they have their own reserved parking spots which is so nice. I never have an issue getting in and out quickly.
Even when I moved 30 mins away I continued to fill my scripts here and make the drive because they’re great! Literally a million times better than a Walgreens.

I love the liquor store’s variety as well as the variety of music they play from punk to pop to country. However, one day there was Christian music playing and tbh I didn’t love that but that’s just me.

I saw some older negative reviews having to do with masks…it’s a pharmacy and there was a pandemic! They were following the rules and protecting their community. Themselves included.

tldr: if you haven’t been here you oughta give it a shot.

I love Capitol Heights Pharmacy! Each person working behind the counter is knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. They have a text alert service that is super helpful for refill alerts as well! I recommend this business to all of my friends who need regular medication refills or simply want more personalized attention/service than what they would receive from a big-box store like Walgreen's or Rite Aid. As others have mentioned, it's wonderfully refreshing to be able to speak to a human being *every single time* I call.

I will keep coming back again and again to support this lovely local business. Keep up the good work, y'all!

Without exaggeration this is the best pharmacy I have ever been to in my entire life. Navigating medical stuff can be anywhere from a hassle to a nightmare, and the team here makes the process so much easier. The pharmacists are incredibly kind as well as extremely competent and knowledgeable-- highly recommend!
