The Pettigrew Inn

Very clean, large, well equipped room. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, large soaking tub and outdoor chairs on our porch. The owner was kind enough to offer us a bagged continental breakfast since we chose not to eat in the dining room ( due to covid). We also enjoyed the private entrance. We were able to walk to pick up take out food, go to 7-11 and other local stores. The grocery store was also within walking distance. Overall a wonderful stay in a great location.

Such welcoming hosts and well cared for, comfortable facilities — with the best breakfasts EVER, both the items on hand at the buffet and the made-to-order items. (Lemon ricotta pancakes were the absolute MOST delicious ever.) Comfortable beds and linens, clean bathroom with nice hot shower and tub, super easy shuttle system giving rides to and from Okemo on the hour, and the coziest hot tub outside (that we had all to ourselves!) just topped off our already perfect stay. Amazing cookies baked fresh daily were such a nice snack to take back to the room as well. Highly recommend, especially for couples of any age.

I have never been to a bed and breakfast with such amazing food! The hospitality is on point too. Anything we ever need, we are helped with right away. I love that every room we’ve stayed in has a jet tub and fire place. We started coming last year and have now made this an annual trip for life. If you want to feel special and enjoy the best breakfast I’ve ever had, this is the place to stay. <3 I truly cannot say enough good things about the owners and our stays here. <3

The Pettigrew Inn was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and we had an amazing time. The room was beautiful, clean and very quaint. Courtenay the new owner/innkeeper went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious including: pancakes, blueberry muffins, fresh fruit, local bacon, and bacon, cheddar and chive scones! Beautiful sun room on the first floor made our stay very relaxing! Local restaurants delicious on a recommendation from Courtenay! Perfect location within a block from town but quiet off the main street! Will definitely be back soon!

We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend you stay here. It was my first B&B experience and it far exceeded my expectations. It's evident the owner is very passionate about the guests experience. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The breakfast was definitely a step above. Very relaxing and peaceful. Amazing stay at The Pettigrew Inn! Incredible location, walking distance to everything Ludlow has to offer. This was our first ski trip with our 7 year old and it couldn’t have been any better. Highly recommend this beautiful Inn located only few minutes drive away from Okemo. Courtenay, the Inn owner, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. She also is an accomplished chef and baker. Daily breakfast choices were delicious and variety of freshly baked cookies (including vegan and gluten-free options) should not be missed. We cannot wait to stay at The Pettigrew Inn again!!!

We LOVED the Pettigrew Inn and Courtenay!! We stayed in two of the rooms and both were very clean and spacious. There was a shed to put your snowboards and boots, the shuttle to Okemo stops right in front of the Inn, the Inn is a block away from the main street and close to a lot of excellent restaurants!! It was a great experience and we will be back for more of Courtenay’s delicious gluten-free, dairy-free breakfast and cookies!! :)

Such an amazing place to stay in Ludlow, VT. If you plan to ski at Okemo there is a shuttle that runs from the inn to the mountain. They have a nice hot tub out back to unwind after a long day. The breakfast in the morning was out of this world! Everything about this place was above and beyond expectation. All of the employees were extremely kind and accommodating. Highly recommend and I will be staying again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely Inn!! Courtney, the owner, and her staff made us feel so welcomed! They served a beautiful breakfast for us each morning of our stay in their dining room. Attention to detail is how I would describe The Pettigrew Inn!!!!

This is a fabulous B&B for relaxing, exploring, and enjoying the local sights. Breakfast is delicious, the rooms are cozy and spacious. Courtenay is a wonderful host who always goes above and beyond. I've stayed here many times and hope to be back soon!

We starting coordinating our Inn to Inn walking tour with Courtenay. She was very helpful answering our questions and navigating the issues with COVID19. We met her in person on the 3rd night of our walk and she was cheerful, professional and sophisticated all at the same time. The room was fabulous as were the meals and the snacks for the next day's hike. We had a great time and appreciate the wonderful service!

Courtney was incredibly kind and provided wonderful suggestions of where to grab food and drinks in town, as well as serving a great breakfast with a different menu both mornings we were there. Fresh juices and coffee as well. The location is great, there was at most a five minute walk to anywhere downtown. The drive to Okemo mountain couldn't have been more than two miles. I've already recommended Pettigrew Inn to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay here. Courtenay is a terrific innkeeper and was so thoughtful and caring during our stay. Breakfast each morning was great, and made the total cost of the room well worth it. The inn has a cool history, and the room was clean and exactly what we needed. Shower was very relaxing. Highly recommend staying here and we look forward to coming back!

Amazing experience. I brought 8 of my clients from my pilates/wellness studio to the Pettigrew Inn for a weekend Wellness Retreat weekend. Courtenay and her staff were simply fantastic and the Inn was an absolutely perfect setting. The food was healthy and delicious yet we had some indulging treats. The food was actually beyond amazing!!! The quaintness of the Inn was perfect for our group. The front porch was perfect for social time yet we could retreat to our individual rooms for some relaxation. I am very very very particular about cleanliness and I have to say that the WHOLE Inn was impeccable. And by far the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever had!
I will be bringing my clients back again...and again...and again...and again!!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience during our 3-night stay at the Pettigrew Inn. The owner, Courtenay, was pleasant, accommodating, and gave us great recommendations for places to check out in town. The inn is tucked away just off of the main street, literally a minute's walk from all the great shops, bars and restaurants in Ludlow. Our room was quaint and cozy. We were SO impressed by the gourmet breakfast that we were provided every morning - it honestly was some of the best food we ate during our trip. Courtenay was even accommodating to my girlfriend's food allergy! Thanks so much to the staff at the Pettigrew, we will definitely return and bring friends too!

We enjoy the Andrie Rose Inn, every year. And year after year they deliver an exceptional experience. If you failed to have breakfast in the Dining Room of the main Inn then you have missed one of the most rewarding parts of your stay. Breakfast always starts with fresh fruit, followed by one of Michael's delicious, hearty creations. We are fully "fueled" to tackle whatever the day holds...skiing, snowboarding, antiquing, site seeing...and ask the hosts, Michael & Irene...they make great suggestions for your day & interests. We'll be back in January '16 and looking forward to it.

My wife and I needed to spend a few days in the Mount Holly area. Days making last moment arrangements selling a home that had been in my wife's family for more than 65 years. This following a far too long drive. The Pettigrew Inn was the perfect peaceful respite from our ambivalent feelings and stress: A room of quiet and calm, the breakfasts elegantly served with choices and quality of fine dining; and the innkeeper, genuinely kind and empathetic. Oh! And the music of perfect level, tone and selection. Thank you so much Courtney.

Highly recommend staying here. The rooms are excellent and Courtney is an amazing host. The breakfast is great and all the good restaurants are within walking distance. We will forever be staying here anytime we plan a ski trip to Okemo Mt.

The Pettigrew Inn on 13 Pleasant St. is a little hidden gem. With 15 rooms, it is the perfect place for a solo or friends visit. The owner, Courtney, has worked worldwide in the hospitality industry, and has the super power of being an amazing and very knowledgeable host. The rooms are pristine cleaned and full of little details. There are always freshly homemade cookies at the inn entrance, and you can get beer and wine served at the main lounge as well. Breakfast is included in the rate and is gourmet style, with ALL items freshly prepared by Courtenay every day. Can't wait to come back!

We stayed at the Pettigrew when skiing at Okemo in Dec. 2020. The inn is a beautiful, classic bed & breakfast. Courtenay was a terrific host. The Pettigrew was very clean and we felt comfortable there, even amid COVID fears. We loved the Pettigrew and look forward to staying there again!!
