Chai & Chai Ethnic Kitchen

Yum. I am not a picky eater, I am a particular eater. I like quality and flavor. Chai & Chai covered those. The flavor was wonderful and not too spicy (I do love spice). The ingredients are fresh and quality. The cafeteria style service makes for a quicker visit. Our group had the Chicken Shawarma on pita, Turkish Gyro on pita, and the Chicken Tikka Masala and a Samosa. They were all equally tasty, though I would choose rice next time just for convenience sake. The location is walkable if visiting someone at Anschutz Hospiral.

If you’re unsure, trust me when I tell you this is a must-try. I’ve been going to Chai & Chai on campus for my lunch breaks over the last few years and they’ve never missed. The Turkey gyroz (lamb + beef) with rice (pictured) and their small chai are delicious! You can taste the freshness. Ask them for the hot sauce too, it’s a great combo. Staff is always kind and the restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. I can’t recommend this place enough!

One of my favorite spots to go on campus, delicious food and good service. The lady who works there is really nice. The prices are decent compared to other restaurants nearby.

Enas is back 🙌 and her presence shows. Her food is amazing! I really missed eating the wonderful treats she makes. The changes in decor also make this place even more inviting. Don't let her get away again ... Please! 😁👍

Chai &Chai management changed and the menu they serve is a delight. To give some background, I have lived in Middle east for 10 yrs and a fan of genuine middle eastern food. This place deserves a five star review because their food is genuinely middle eastern and extremely yummy. Staff is friendly and overall great experience. The picture I shared is shwaram bowl with Baba Ghanosh. Would highly recommend.

This is the only restaurant I go to on campus. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, fast service.

Recommend either the Chicken Shawarma or Gyro Platter.

It can get busy during lunch but the food is great and it's a good deal

The food was delicious and seasoned well! The staff is so friendly! I taste tested a couple of the meats before deciding and ended up getting the spicy gyro meat. It was the perfect amount of seasoning and spice and the tzatziki sauce was so fresh! You can tell that everything is made in house. I will be back again! :)

Great spot for lunch if you enjoy Mediterranean food. My favorite dish is the spicy lamb/beef Gyro plate - so delicious 😊 The food is fresh, satisfying, and not too heavy. The staff are also very friendly and like to make sure you are enjoying your food. Drop by sometime, you will not be disappointed!!

Chai and chai has Excellent food and fantastic employees! I love their chai, falafels, chicken shawarma, spicy gyros paneer and just about everything else on the menu! The chef is Jordanian and makes authentic Arabic food and also delicious Indian plates! I love the atmosphere too, they always play great music and I really like the pictures they have on the walls and all the scarves on display! This place is Truly a gem! servings are generous and the prices are very affordable ! Can’t wait to go back!

One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I had an incredible chicken shawarma wrap with the perfect amount of spice. But the best part was Enas! She treated me like I was her family, and I felt like I was eating my mom’s homemade Arabic cooking. She even came out to check on me while I was eating and brought me a tea! Absolutely love her and this place! I found my new lunch spot for sure.

Great food! Eating the amazing Arabic cuisine here has literally inspired some changes in our weekly meals! I've been here twice so far, and the food and the friendly staff make me wish that I lived a lot closer!! When I can, I will be back!

Chai and Chai is under new management and the food is now Jordanian (no longer South Asian). The new flavors and combos are delicious and a great go-to for lunch on the Anschutz campus! The staff are efficient and friendly. They enjoy talking about their dishes and offering recommendations.

I'm giving you five stars because thank you for saving me from the slop they serve at The Garden Cafe in the hospital. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, and everyone was so friendly!

This place has always been a staple lunch spot for me, but today I was blown away! New recipes, very flavorful, spicy and cool! So good!! I can’t stop talking about how great the food is!

I really enjoy this place! Schwarma sandwich is the best deal for lunch on campus. The team of employees in there have always been friendly and I eat there multiple times a week. They know what I want before I order!

This place is great, vegan options is a huge plus and got my whole office department in on their food. People are always pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend 👌 👍
