Awesome guys in there. Perfect vibe and energy. Your ideal stones will literally jump out at you if youre digging thru one of the bowls. Very inexpensive and walked out of there with 3 stones and string for my pendulum for no more than around 5 bucks. Amazing place!

I have been coming here since 2004. I love this neighborhood shop and am so happy they made it through the pandemic. Thank you for your wonderful presence in the neighborhood and all the positivity you bring.
01/03/2022: update, always a great shop and so many treasures. Was looking for a yearly planner and they had a great selection. Their rings were beautiful, I totally splurged!

The front half of the store is lovely and easy to navigate with a surprisingly large selection of supplies; but the back half is where the magic is. A beautifully curated selection of used books, from which I've found a few titles I couldn't get anywhere else.

I have lived in Denver for almost 30 years. I am familiar with all the metaphysical store around Denver and its surrounding areas. Each metaphysical stores have a different vibe. And because of their uniqueness, I always encourage folks to visit all of these stores and feel it out for themselves. Shining Lotus for me, is an inviting and safe. In fact, I find myself visiting Shining Lotus when I am in need of grounding. Many times I come into the store not sure what I am looking for, some days I find something and some days I don’t but regardless, I always leave the store with a sense of peace of mind and good humor.

One of my favorite stores. The owners/employees are so kind and knowledgeable and the prices are extremely reasonable. Will always recommend!

Absolutely perfect! It's exactly what I'd hoped to find on my road trip and will become a regular stop when/if I come back. The staff is great as well! Word of advice, if you're not in for something specific, plan to be there the entire day! I'm going to have a hard time not making one more stop before I head home.

I always find what I am seeking, and the people behind the counter are so knowledgeable and help me nicely when needed.

I might be biased because I am the reader here on Tuesdays, but this shop has become such a haven for my spiritual work.
Being surrounded by crystals, incense and the love that the owners put into this little slice of heaven makes my job as a psychic medium so much more bearable and easy. Even when I have a hard reading Tim, Laura and Justin give my heart a healing surround and I don't feel like I do any of my work alone now. It means everything to finally have a spiritual home. Who knew it would also be where I fuel my rock hoarding addiction 😂

This is my favorite bookstore in all of Colorado, which puts it pretty high up in the running for the entire United States. Every time I come here I'm leaving with a pile of books in my hands, and the people there are always super nice and welcoming.

There's never a time that I come here and don't find something I was either looking for, or didn't know I was looking for :D

This place is excellent! It's not the biggest and they don't have the largest selection, but what they do have is all of excellent quality and the employees are second to none. The gentlemen that helped me knew the store and products like the back of his hand. Very impressive!

I’ve been coming here for almost a year or so and it is such a lovely shop. The owners are so kind and sweet and always open to help answer any questions or inquiries you have, they always leave you with learning more and are so helpful to show you more about the product you’re buying so you get the full knowledge about your product.

The energy in there is always so warm and welcoming and they have the best pricing out of any spiritual shop I’ve been to also! Going here is always a fantastic visit and I love to spend some afternoons just sitting in their book area reading.

I was pleasantly surprised by large selection of books available at what, at first glance, appears to be a relatively small establishment. The new books are arrayed along the walls among an impressive offering of statuary, art and altar supplies; fully half of the sales space is a colorful and exciting plethora of gently used books. I was happy to find scent of incense that I'd been seeking when I had gone in, along with a myriad of other types of incense. I noticed the underlying theme appears to have been centered around Buddhism, yet there is a comforting diversity here, with many spiritualities and religious disciplines represented. Within the walls of Shining Lotus, there exists a pervasive and peaceful sense of acceptance.

These guys are the best, been around for years and always shop here.

A lovely little store filled with so many fascinating books and trinkets. First visit there and was definitely worth it. My favorite thing must have been the 30 cent miniature candles in every color. Perfect! So much to look at and an overall good environment. Felt very safe and calm, can’t wait to visit again :)

So many good books, new and used. I wish more places like this were still around. They have a bit of everything from esoteric and the occult to history, theocracy, reflexology and massage.. great place. Friendly and knowledgeable owners. Will be going back whenever I'm in the area.

This store is amazing and the two gentlemen that were working during my visit were incredibly knowledgeable. Every book store that I go to I look for one book in particular... yesterday it was found after years of looking! Oh, and they have Moldavite :) Oh, and another thing, this store ---feels--- great, it just feels great. Wonderful energy there! Thank you for doing what you do Shining Lotus... and shine, glow, and illuminate, you certainly do~!
