When we came in, Tony told us that this was the best pizza in Denver.
After trying it, I’m inclined to believe him. The crust is authentic and crispy, the sauce is herbaceous, there’s just the right amount of cheese and spicy pepperoni, it’s actually the best pizza I think I may ever have eaten. The menu is extensive and well curated, the prices are reasonable, and the menus at front of house have little clip out coupons. Tony keeps Pizza Magazine on the tiny dine in table, which is iconic. And he’s a pretty engaging conversation as well, very kind, intelligent, funny, and passionate. Definitely a business to support.

Always fast, friendly service for an affordable price! I would recommend this place to anyone! Not just your average pizza chain!

Business didn’t look like much from the outside, but I was so. Wrong.
We drove from 38 th and Sheridan blvd over to this location, was worth the trip.

This is my go-to spot. The pizza and calzone are amazing, Also some of the very best fried chicken I have ever been served from a pizza restaurant. Owner is a good guy too, we love famous pizza.

True hole in the wall. I remember my dad taking me to this place for pizza night and going there frequently per month. The flavor hasn't changed much from what I can remember, still has a unique sause no other pizzeria has. Hands down the best flavor and ingredients in the denver metro area. Honestly, it's the best pizza place I've ever been to. I just bought a 16' pizza just last week and I couldn't stop eating it, i finished it in one setting. I only had cheese on it to get the authentic simplicity of original ingredients. When you first try it, go for the cheese only to understand what I mean. And buy a second one because they are that good. The owner is the nicest guy and treated me very well. For being a colorado native I have to say this is the best pizza in the state, not just the metro area. From 1-10 it's easily a 9.5 and btw it's hand tossed.

Small local old school place, owner is an awesome guy. If your review was expecting Michelin stars, come on. Really? Pizza is great. All the food is. A messy kitchen means the cook cares about the food the most. Some of these negative reviews are just like there’s no realism to where you are eating. I go here every drive through town.

One of Denvers most underrated places, or better yet one of its best kept secets! Whether it's a pizza for the whole family, an entree for dinner time or a quick snack for lunch; this place always hits the spot! With it super convenient location, friendly, hard-working employees, and consistently quick and efficient service; its no wonder this place has been around for so long! Prices are very fair and affordable, and there's a huge menu with something for everyone to choose from. Famous Pizza is truly the best of the best! Keep it up guys!!! See you next time!!!!!

I put in a large order for my 3 year olds bday party. The pizza was GREAT. Several people asked where it was from. Ingredient quality (sauce, crust, cheese, pep) is on point and the sauce has a little tang to it that is great.

Pickup was right on time and the staff was friendly.

They blessed me with this amazing late night meal. Meat cooked perfectly and great sides to eat this gyro with. Definitely coming back here during the day to try more.

Ignore the prices and enjoy the Food

This spot has been open for DECADES in Denver. Used to be on S broadway but got pushed out by voodoo doughnuts in a shady operation. Used to go with my parents as a kid, and it’s still good. I try to go here anytime I want pizza. It’s a dive but it’a great for when you need a good slice or take out pie.

Adam is great chef will cook you basically whatever you want went out of his way made us half meat and have veggie pizza our favorite here's a pic from our phone,we give this place 5 stars it's a must try and I promise you'll. be a regular! One of the secrets is the in-house made dough!

Their pepperoni is halal they should advertise this more i think it’d bring in more business. Great ny style pizza and being able to eat pepperoni was a real treat! 10/10 recommend especially to my Muslim brothers and sisters.

The environment is family friendly and quiet the staff are very kind even giving away food to the homeless thank you Tony for all your service

I’ve eaten three pies from here and they were all good. More affordable than other pizza joints in Denver. Open super late. If you want a fancy dining room go somewhere else (what are you even doing on East Colfax?), if you want a great pizza for 20 bucks this is your spot.
