Denver Health: Lowry Family Health Center

I found all of the staff here to be really kind and invested in their work to help people. I had a ton of medical issues come up in the last couple of years so I went there many times. I believe it's a relatively new building. The cleanliness at this center stands out to me - it's great!
Yes sometimes there's a wait but that's pretty typical at any doctor's office. The Lowry Center serves many marginalized populations. They seem to really care about health equity here which I really appreciate. I felt seen and understood by my doctor. Thank you!

Leaving this review for Dr. Barron! I have been coming here for a little over 9 months but met Dr. Barron out of needing to get an appointment for my son. Shortly after we visited again due to the flu when my child was sick and Dr. Barron met us for the appointment. Not only did she remember my son but she guided me through what to expect after his flu test. She then went above and beyond and called us about his prescriptions and test results that evening and even checked in the following morning. I was blown away. I switched to her as our pediatrician and will follow her regardless of where she goes. So grateful for her and her dedication to patients.

This was my first time at Lowery Family and to start, window 10 reseptionist was an extremely wonderful and helpful caring person."shout out girl your rock". My nurse and doctor were truly amazing and were very caring. As a transfemale this is so meaningful to me. Thank you!

I have been coming to this clinic for 15 yrs now. Appointments are easy to make even for the same day. Dr. Benavidez has always been my doctor. I also see Dr. Kvach. I have always been treated respectfully and with dignity by my doctors and at check in.

First and foremost the entire staff was very respectful of me being trans, not once was I deadnamed or misgendered despite my legal name not being changed. Dr. White is an amazing doctor. Took the time to listen to and address all of my medical concerns. Helped me adjust my HRT regimen, helped me get std testing and to get on PrEP without judgement, and even got me a prescription for marinol to help with my low weight. And all covered under my Denver Health Medicaid. Would definitely recommend to any LGBT people needing primary care.

I have been going to Lowry medical center for several years. I have always received excellent care. The diversity in staff and clients is also nice. Makes everyone feel comfortable and cared for.

Really nice people, saw us right away for a Covid vaccination appointment. Everyone was following Covid protocol. Good handicap parking and accessible building. It's a very pretty area with a park practically next door.
