Denver Public Library: Bear Valley Branch Library

On 12 December 2023, I had a crisis: I was due in court and oxygen problems (I’m on oxygen 24/7) had me running unbelievably late. I called the library closest to where I was and sobbed to James my tremendous problem, and he quite literally moved heaven and earth in order to help me. So did another very kind gentleman at the front desk who ended up bringing out my material to me in a Lyft car.I am technologically challenged, and my computer is not working, and I had a great deal of trouble uploading a 300 page set of exhibits onto the website. James gave me another email address and worked with me until the exhibits were received, and I am more thankful than words can express.

I think Librarians should run every level of everything, for uniformly they are the kindest, most invested, most resourceful, and smartest people around. This review is a placeholder until I can get back to the library and give them mammoth hugs!!

The children's programs are fabulous. My daughter received a special package while picking up reserved books today. It was a new journal and art supplies. It made her day and she has been enjoying it for hours. She was also offered snacks, which is so caring. Most importantly, the fellow who helped her was very kind. Thank you for this beautiful service to our community. ❤

Beautiful library it is very modern looking very quiet and lots of books to look through a vit cramped but looks interesting for a small library. It has a nice outer place for looking at birds but a bit too close to the traffic. But is a modern library look and feel it is a bit compact but is a thoughtful place. Reminds me sorta of a meteor or a rock spaceship sorta :3

The Bear Valley Library is one of the most important and appreciated services for my husband and myself. It was before the Pandemic but during when they were closed we were able to order online and pickup, it made the time, when we were unable to be out and about, much easier to endure. The books and dvds were a lifeline. THANKS TO THE STAFF!!!!

I LOVE THE STAFF HERE! Lisa, Jennifer, Romona, Jayleen, Fransceen, Jeniece, and Bobby are all very charming, helpful, and gregarious. It's people like these who represent the very best of humankind. Oh, and the library's mega-comfortable.

As always, staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. Please consider staying opening on Mondays. Your team are in our thoughts and prayers. Be safe.

Great storytime for the littles. Lots of space to play as well. Librarians were so sweet And kind and enthusiastic!

I am a foreigner and I went to the library today to ask a little question about learning languages. I didn't expect the staff to give me a lot of information, thank you so much.

Actually went for a covid vaccine. Spent every day here when i was a kid, still smells the same, like books!

Quiet. Your can check out a laptop and find a spot on the 2nd floor if you prefer a laptop over a computer to study

Really good community library. They have many wonderful classes for toddlers
