Southglenn Library (Arapahoe Libraries)

I absolutely LOVE this library! This place needs more credit! All the staff members are extremely patient, amiable, and knowledgeable. The location is great with free 3-hour parking right across the street. This library seems small on the outside, but it has everything that you need! Study/meeting rooms are available. A patio is also available! The best part: it is quiet! I come here often to study and work!

Beautiful space with lots of natural light. There is something for everyone with books, movies, music, computers, and a lovely children's area.

This place is awesome! Sometimes kids running around make some noise but it is not so bad I think. Thanks to Jeremiah helped me get my library card he was super helpful like all other staff. I used to go to Starbucks for studying but this library is better place for studying.

Always great! This location is full of light, open, spacious, has different sections that feel nice to be in. It also has, a Summer Reading program, of course, tiny lockers for charging phones, free diapers and feminine products in the bathroom by the vending machines, assistive devices, & friendly staff. AND my daughter says that was the Cleanest Bathroom she's seen in a long time!

This library is just the right size, not too small or too big. They share books with all of the other Araphoe Libraries so I can always find a book on the subject I'm looking for. I love that I can easily put books on hold on their website and pick them up later. My kids love this library too, and will spend hours perusing the books and playing with their toys. Southglenn Library has been a great asset to fostering a love of learning in my kids!

What a fantastic library. The family support is tremendous- diapers, wipes, disinfectant spray and a toddler stepping stool at the sink in the family bathroom are such a treat! Thank you for a beautiful library experience.

This is a great library! They have a large selection of books, movies, music, and technology. The most impressive thing about this library is the fact that they have a recording studio, a small green screen area for shooting video, and all of the editing software needed to make your own CD's, music videos, and short films. Personally, I wish they had more than two study rooms available, but the two they have are quite lovely. Their children's area is fairly large, and they frequently have games/activities happening for little ones. This does mean that the library isn't necessarily a very quiet place after the kids are done with school, but they do have a "quiet room" for study/work if you need. During the winter, find a nice spot in front of the fireplace and enjoy.

I saw an eagle and it screamed at me and then watched me catch the bus 🙂

Haven't even been in Colorado for a week yet and I love this library already! They have a *great* selection of business periodicals and the computers have subscriptions to ValueLine. If you're a value investor, then this place is heaven.

Love this library as a mom of young kids especially. We go there and I let the kiddos play with toys, puzzles, and crayons. Then we load up on books and my 3 year old helps me scan the books at the self check out desk. Super friendly, helpful staff too. We've gone to story time a couple times there as well, and it was very sweet and well done.

I go to this library for basically all of my books and reading (apart from Tattered Cover Book Store) and I can honestly say it is great. Super friendly people, somewhat interesting events, and a convenient location. I've even volunteered here and have come to know a lot of the other volunteers and staff members. This is a great library to have nearby and it has never failed me before. One of, if not the best library I've been to.

What a wonderful library. So cheery not just the place but also the librarians. You can even read some books on the deck. How lucky those living in the area to have this wonderful facility.

My family and I love the Southglenn Library! Think of it as the "NY Times Bestseller" branch where all the latest titles are available. If you need to do extensive research select a different location, but if you want the latest or have kids, this is the best choice. I've also had great success with picking up books through interlibrary loan here, so if you can wait a few days to get a book they don't have readily available, you can be assured they will get it for you. On second thought, don't go. We want to keep this treasure to ourselves!

The best! and you can seat on the balcony on a sunny day and enjoy the breeze enjoying a great book. We just need a coffee place inside.

Southglenn Library is lovely. I have received excellent, kind, enthusiastic service. If you are experiencing trouble with WiFi or receiving your requested library materials, do ask one of the delightful staff members for help. They will cheerfully assist you and go above and beyond to do everything within their power to make your experience outstanding!

This is my favorite library in the state of Colorado so far. The style is a little more modern and new age which makes it that much easier to coax your children into going to the "cool library". There are also a lot of great events going on constantly.
