It was a busy Friday evening, and their kitchen staff struggled to keep up. The crew did a super job letting us know about the waiting time.

This used to be the neighborhood spot. It has been 20 years since I stopped by. I am not 100% sure if it is still the same joint, but it doesn't disappoint!

The food is great, almost too good for the price.
Try the meatball spaghetti, bruschetta! You won't regret it... As we are hooked!

Gennaro’s truly has my husband and I’s heart! We recently catered our rehearsal dinner through them. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, timely, and affordable. Our guests raved over the sausage and peppers as well as the spaghetti with rosé sauce - our faves! The pizzas were devoured and the salad was fresh and beautiful! Thank you Tonya and the entire team who made this a possibility!!

Of note, my husband and I love visiting Gennaro’s in house frequently. It’s a friendly bar with good prices, awesome bartenders, and delicious food of course! Thank you for being such a staple in the SOBO neighborhood.

Not what I expected, when we walked in. But, give it a shot. The cheese bread with spicy sauce is great. Must get the fried ravioli. The lasagna, and calzone are incredible. The deserts are okay. But the service was awesome and if you are lucky....the bar tender will tell you Chuck Norris jokes. Love it. I will be back!

Absolutely LOVE this place! Cozy spot with only about 10 tables. I don't think you can find better Italian food in Denver for $10 a plate. Tortellini was bomb. Garlic knots were delicious. If you're craving carbs, definitely come by! They're open late too. Will definitely visit again.

The pizza here is awesome. And I eat out a lot. Martin the bartender is always so personable. And you can't beat the price.

I don't hit this place as much as I should. I've always had really great experience with the staff, they're always super friendly, the food is good, prices are fine, good atmosphere as well, definitely an underrated restaurant in the area!

We're from out of state so we just went to the closest place. I'm glad we landed here. Great drinks, great raviolis, great pizza. It's loud in there, but it's basically a bar. I'm a fan.

Insane pie's! If you crave great hand made food, from scratch, definitely try all the menu items! I say the waiter/ bartender is another reason this place is popular. Great service and food! Very hard to find during this shut down pandemic. Enjoy dine in seating at the bar or at a booth in the adjacent room.

Gennaro's Calzones are legit!! They season the dough with herbs and don't skimp on the size! If you want an amazing huge calzone on South Broadway, look no further. We get sausage, garlic, green chilies, mushroom and onions. There sauce isn't super sweet which is a plus in our book. They have outdoor seating in the back if its nice out. DELICIOUS!

The service here is first class every time I have been there over the last couple years. The food is tasty, inexpensive and in sizeable portions. Just a great little bar/restaurant! Rarely do I find a place that is this consistent as I have never had a bad experience. They are accurate, quick, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this wonderful place! For the best experience, load up the jukebox with your favorite selection, order some delicious food and start a conversation with a fellow patron.

Gennaro's is a great location with top notch italian cuisine, cold drinks and a stage for live entertainment and special events. There are pool tables and its a great place to catch the game as there are TV screens all around the facility. The food is on a whole other level with an extensive menu full of some of the best italian food i have ever had the opportunity to taste. It is located in the heart of the denver area on Broadway and has street parking available. Make sure you check out this absolute GEM!

Everything I've had here has been delicious, the beer has been cold, and the lunch menu is more affordable than fast food.

Great little Italian restaurant. The bar is super nice to hang out at. It’s a real old-school kind of bar with locals.

Martin is the best bartender! He always strikes up good conversation. Luke is also the best cook! They all made my birthday the best night ever!

Kevin was awesome! This is a great little Italian bar with fantastic food and service! Our server/'s/bartender's Kevin and Martin were so friendly, helpful and so nice! The food was delicious - we had the fried mushrooms, Mediterranean chicken, and tortellini. So Good!! We'll definitely be back!

Nick made me this awesome drink called witches brew. It was delicious! The staff makes this place my go to neighborhood bar.

I have never had a calzone that was so good. The dough was flavorful and had herbs in it, the 4 cheese blend was great. It is worth a try, don't miss out on a great place.
