Vanover Park

I frequently stop here on bike rides. Small, well landscaped park on Clear Creek. A community of geese and ducks call this home.

Golden’s “Lil Central Park” a tiny park that connects the community and attracts many visitors. Great summer and winter events with live music and of course the Christmas Parade tree lighting point. Best location to start your stroll down Clear Creek Trail. Stroll the pedestrian bridge both ways and learn some history of Golden. Enjoy the art sculptures in the park and surrounding area. Good place for a picnic or an escape from the summer heat. Shopping and food options nearby or for entertainment visit the heritage park, fish or go tubing down the creek.

Very nice neighborhood and beautiful place to have a picnic and take some pictures. I saw some people going down the river that is cool too. Water is super cold.

There is a paved path that follows Clear Creek towards the mountains and goes toward Denver in the other direction. This is s great path if you have a dog that gets over heated easily. Mine jumps in and out of the creek about 10 times while we are there.

The park has interesting (not-so-good) history if you know about it. But in modern days it's a beautiful park.

Tiny playground for children with imagination and props for creative play. Calm, shallow wading area in clear Creek that can get ice cold at it's freshest. Popular pit stop for geese during migration season.

Beautiful scene, well maintained... sign posted request for masks to be worn... grass area, riverside, covered picnic bench, chessboard available, bike path, parking... I go with a friend on Sunday mornings... not too crowded (winter/ covid)... an amazing morsel in Golden!!

First time there. Road bikes to Golden Mill. Very enjoyable. BBQ was dry, but otherwise very fun experience! Great atmosphere! Lots of beers to chose from.

Beautiful park, lush grass. Final landing for people floating down stream. Fun watching tubers.

Fun little park to let the kids play! They have a small little play spot for kids, akd picnic tables. They were able to feed the geese as well.

Great spot for a stroll along the creek. Some areas have lots of shade, others not so much. Lots of people and dogs.

So cool .. Mountain View’s every where you turn your head. I was corrected somewhat with” oh those are the foothills “ well whatever you call them , they are beautiful!

Lovely, beautiful park. We loved the Canada Geese and their young. Great little picnic spot, too!

Great little park to sit. The parking is great there. There is access to water from the park. There are lots of geese, therefore there is goose poop.

Beautiful scenery, peaceful river, and it's a nice place to walk, run, bike, etc. Loved it!
