Amazing customer service the lady at the jewelry counter was so lovely! Got 3 vintage beetle pins for me and a friend and this gorgeous lunar moth hair clip that I’m obsessed with!! All were about $10 and it was totally worth it

An amazing western west store located on Wazee street in Downtown Denver. It’s clothing has been worn by celebrities for years including Elvis, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Ronald Regan and many others. The founder Papa Jack, changed fashion with his western wear including the snap buttons. We just happened upon this store and we’re so happy we did! We will definitely go back and will wear their clothing from now on!

Rockmount features classic, timeless ranch wear. It is really fun to walk around the store and soak in the vibe. Lots of history to learn and a small museum upstairs. Lots of press hype and celebrity endorsements, but it seems that the store deserves the acclaim. Worth stopping by.

This store was amazing. They had an incredible selection, the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and really helpful. I may have gone a little overboard buying boots and buckles. Will definitely return every time I’m in Denver.

Finally made it to the famous home of the Pearl snap shirt with your. They have a small museum with originals and even a predecessor (see pics). There was a clearance rack with a 20% discount which caused me to partake. LOL. If you're in downtown Denver this place is certainly worth a visit. See pics of may of the celebs who purchase and wear Rockmount shirts. FYI the street is named after the founder, Jack Weil. The story is at age 105 he was still showing up to work at the store. Pictures and magazines verify this story. The store folks are knowledgeable, proud and willing to assist. Highly recommend!

How can bad reviews of this place exist? They’re an American icon! I didn’t even intend to buy a shirt but ended up spending $200 like nothing. The sales racks have some good deals- we bought the grandkids some little boots and cowgirl shirts. Excellent work Rockmount!!!

Known for their iconic diamond shaped snap buttons, Rockmount has been a Denver landmark for generations...So much so that the city memorialized the late founder by giving that block of Wazee Street honorary signs renaming it Jack A. Weil Way.

Rockmount is where you go to get something that will get you compliments every time you wear it. It's a preferred shopping stop by rock stars, rodeo champs, and anyone seeking high quality Western wear with distinctive flair. The space itself is store, warehouse and museum wrapped in one, and every time I've been in the staff treats me more like a neighbor than a customer. On multiple occasions, I've even had other loyal customers act as ambassadors, chatting me up and sharing about their "collection" of Rockmount.

The prices are on the higher end (expect to pay around $75-$110 for men's shirts) but the quality and style are worth it. My leather gloves are at least 6 years old and continue to look great. I still wear shirts I bought there 10+ years ago. I even have vintage 70s + 80s Rockmount shirts picked from thrift stores that have never so much as had a snap button fail.

If you're on a real spending spree, their hats, leather jackets, and cowboy/cowgirl boots are A+. If you'd like to get the experience but not the expense, t-shirts run about $25 and they have beautiful bandanas, stickers, and tin reproductions of their famous logo for under 10 bucks.

A slice of Americana. These guys originated the pearl snap cowboy shirt. Many styles are made in the US, plus they have tall sizes. I own several and love them!

BACKGROUND: I collect Western shirts and this place is what started the classic Americana. Jack Weil created the first shirt in the world with snaps which is instantly recognizable as the "Cowboy Shirt." Rockmount is also about the only manufacturer left today.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: David (the associate that helped me) is great. When one of my snaps was broken, he fixed it on the spot and taught me how to fix them (and also included extra snaps at no cost). Also, I had an issue where the color on the shirt piping ran off while being dry cleaned. I emailed Rockmount and the owner replied offering me a FREE shirt to make up for it! That is customer service and standing by their products. SIZING: the shirts run big. For example I wear a medium for most but I wear extra small or small for Rockmount. They do have "slim fit" but I wish they had long tails like how western shirts were made back in the day (so they don't become untucked).
OVERALL, if you find a size that works, grab a shirt and you're closer to the spirit of the West.

I took my teenage son for his first real cowboy hat today. The customer servive is excellent. No one bothered us as he found his own. He selected a brown everyday hat, and approached the counter about ordering a dressy black custom look. He was respectfully handed a catalogue, and had a great time with management and staff looking at the new collection. He left looking like the cat that ate the canary. You found a lifetime customer in my little dude, and I'm coming back for boots. The selection of this store is beautifully well tailored.

Western shirt heaven. I've been a long time fan of Rockmount's designs, and it was a real pleasure finally visiting their store. The designs and workmanship are fantastic, and it's just a wonderful store with great staff. It's a one of a kind experience, and I'd urge anyone to at least take a peak inside. I had a very hard time limiting my purchases, and you probably will too!

I held off with a review as I am still in awe of this place. It is a quintessential part of Denver. While so much around it like the Rocky Mountain Seed Company, the big Army surplus, and 5 points have evaporated into history, Rockmount continues to delight those who can find it amongst the ever-changing bars and restaurants. Yes, it's expensive, but they kinda invented fancy Western style so get yourself something nice if you can or just go and enjoy the Western museum upstairs if you can't.

Thank you for your polite service. This store is a gem. It was part of Denver before Denver was cool - and there is a long list of celebrities who have shopped here to prove it. Thanks for not being pretentious. Thanks for letting your adorable dog roam, wander and rest in the isles, and thanks for having great quality Western wear store and clothing no matter the generation in which we live. Can't wait to return next year from the Midwest and update. Update 2022: still a great store with excellent service.

Great ladies working floor. I'm so happy to get the last Porter Wagoner shirt and turquoise and coral bolo and beautiful scarf. Great selection of my go to boots....Lucchese. Wanted eagerly to buy more but seems the container ship is still at sea with backorders. A must if you roll into Denver and are serious about your fashion....like me. I'm officially on their email list. TY so much.

I needed some quality boots for an elopement in a short time frame and I’m so pleased I found this shop and Dan… a quick chat on the phone of what I was looking for and he was quickly texting me pics of options. I came to the store and he had me in and out efficiently and when she tried the boots and found they were a little tight, Dan worked with us to evaluate alternatives and eventually hand stretched the boot we had already bought. In the end they were worn for the elopement and the shop saved the day. He has an awesome selection and service is second to none.
