We work on the owners' cars and they're super cool people! The fish fry they do is not to be missed 😋 looking forward to summer for that more than anything else.

Looked like a friendly crowd at the bar. They remodeled and looks nice. The best part about it is you can get your skies tuned and a beer for $25 on Thursdays! Chris is an excellent tuner and has done my skis for 4 years.

Great place to go in Golden. A better atmosphere than Rock Rest. There is outdoor seating with a fire pit. Bluegrass bands play on some nights. Fish Fry on every other Friday. Call ahead to verify events.

Good townie bar, they do wax nights during the winter and blue grass in the summer

This place has been around since the 50s. Originally, it began as a hangout for Coors employees. It's filled with awesome Coors memorabilia and old stuff you can't find anywhere else. The back yard is amazing, and is huge. The service is always friendly. They offer ski and snowboard tuning as well! Horseshoes are available in the spacious backyard if you want to get your game on. If you want craft beer in many options, stick to the hipster local breweries. But if you want a classic bar with good views, good people and old school atmosphere, go to the Columbine. Chris will be happy to serve you.

Very homey and welcoming atmosphere. Delicious fish fry on Fridays. Great music throughout the week. Outdoor space is awesome as well. One of my favorite places in Golden!

It's crazy that no one has reviewed this little Golden gem.
This bar is no-frills hole-in-the wall with great atmosphere, great patrons, and great staff.
If I lived closer this would be my go-to-place for after work drinks.
I know that smoking ban made huge impact on their family-run business so if you find yourself in Golden, you have to go and check out this place.

Great place that is low key and a neighborhood favorite. Backyard Bluegrass series in the summer is a treat. In the winter the Columbine is a great place to get your skis tuned and waxed while you have a beer. Saucer Wax is the best!

Welcoming environment! Snoop and I had multiple great play days here during our trip. Owner, Chris and Henry are solid people. Stop in for a beer and get your skis/board waxed!

One of the best bars in town, and also one of the only bars around that will offer a tune up on your ski's and/or snowboard. Don't forget to ask about Saucer Wax!

Great Fish Fry! It's cod,and really cooked perfectly. I think it's on weekends. Delicious!
