The Copper Pot Saddle Rock

Stumbled upon this little place one night after reading reviews about some restaurants in the area. When people say the portions are huge, they mean it! We tried the macaroni and cheese balls. They were so rich and tasty, we could only eat one. Then, we had the chicken fried chicken. Two of us shared it, and we still had leftovers. Cooked to perfection and served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The place is a little pricey, but I feel like everywhere is these days. Definitely worth a visit. Hope you check it out!

Really good comfort food restaurant with drinks and chill atmosphere. My wife and I got the Mac and Cheese, I got it with green chili she got it plain. The mac and cheese was really good, creamy, cheesy and delicious. The portions were massive and we brought home an extra meal for tomorrow. If you are looking for a laid back local spot with good service, drinks and food I highly recommend.

The serving sizes were so big! My personal favorite was the Mac and cheese balls because they were just creamy and cheesy! Our server was the best! Definitely coming back!

All around excellent experience! Our server , Lilly, was so awesome! The chicken fried chicken is delicious and the gravy is the perfect flavor compliment 🤤. There's real bacon in the green beans which adds a delicious smokey flavor. The meatloaf sandwich is a perfect portion and the flavor screams homemade 😋. Onions rings are huge, perfectly battered and fried.

bottomless mimosas are always delicious! definitely recommend stopping by for brunch. we sat at the bar and I love the vibes of this place. came back for dinner and they have GREAT burgers. no gluten free buns buttt the southwest burger was amazing, and they have a copper slopper with green chili, served over fries. try it out!!

The serving sizes are huge. The Mac and cheese balls are dry with aged cheese- which made them hard to eat. They were just too dry. The artichoke dip wasn't chopped fine enough.. so there were 3in strips of artichoke. The sweet potato fries were incredible. The pulled pork was tangy and sweet (very good). The onion rings were also great.

We stopped in yesterday morning for a late morning brunch and could not have been happier with either the food or the service. Our server, Joann, was very friendly and attentive. At her suggestion we got our green chili on the side - that's what the hot bubbly cheesy goodness in the little cast iron pan is. Both the green chili and the salsa had a nice rich heat that wasn't overpowering.

We'll definitely be back!

Service was excellent! The small combo appetizer was huge (Mac and cheese balls, spinach and artichoke dip, and sausage, but nouns, and peppers). Food was fresh and on point. We got the Donnie’s favorite sandwich, southwest burger with skinny fries, and the Wakefield burger with steak fries.

Randa & joan was our server who was so incredibly nice. Very welcoming quick with all of our orders and requests.

Our server was really wonderful for the entire time. I loved her pink hair too it’s amazing!
I also watched her interact with other customers like she known them a dozen time over!
Place was super friendly and welcoming it totally felt like a home by its descriptors!
We had to go to a movie unfortunately so couldn’t take food with us..

The flavors of the foods that the owner has put together are spectacular and no joke! He has the original New Mexican home hatch Chile's and it was super tasty and had me locked 🔒 from the beginning to end of my meal! So if you haven't been by this amazing little slice of home cooked heavenly taste I encourage and endorse the Copper pot you can't be disappointed because they will make it to your specifications of yumminess 😘👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾💯💕💕💕💕💕There's love in these pots!

One of the best spots we've been too in a long time. Food quality is fantastic! Great portion sizes with decent prices! The customer service is top notch! We will definitely be back again.

Great American standards with a few surprises. I had the meatloaf and my wife had the chicken fried steak, both were delicious. And just look at that side of broccoli. Very satisfied. Second visit wife had the Hawkeye pork tenderloin sandwich and I went with the chicken fried steak, the kid had the fish and chips, oh and the chicken and dumpling soup, the bowl of soup was huge, wife and I shared. Darrell took great care of us, ask for him.

First time here and we’ll be back for sure! Hawkeye sandwich was huge and delicious, and comes with their super cheesy Mac & Cheese, yum. We had the mushrooms Romano to start, the sauce was so good, huge portion. Side salads and entrees were also large, looking forward to leftovers tomorrow. Good selection for kids too! Our server Memi was great and the restaurant wasn’t too loud like many other local restaurants on a Friday night.

Memi was our server, and she was fantastic. We ordered Copper Mules, which are nice and refreshing on summer days. Our food was good. I come here for burgers. I ordered the Southwest Burger. Too hungry to snap a photo. Hubby ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken, which is one of the recommended dishes here. Overall, this is a solid place if you would like a good dinner with drinks.

Was really craving a Burger and Copper Pot did not disappoint! The waitress was wonderful getting my drinks refilled before I finished my glass, the burger was delicious, and the environment was perfect. The restaurant is clean, roomy, and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back and recommend it for anyone who wants a change from their usual.

Went for dinner after grandsons swim lesson and was glad to see the had a tenderloin sandwich like back home. It’s bigger than my grandsons face. Haha

Fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere. We came here on the neighborhood recommendation, and we were not disappointed. Ryan was a fantastic waitress - we never wanted for anything. We got the chicken fried chicken, and the carne asada fries. The photos are AFTER we ate. The portions are HUGE and delicious!

Great food, great service every single time!! Best Mac n Cheese with any fixings in it! But last visit we tried chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, yummy. My hubby had the Sausage, Peppers and Onions meal with fries...Amazing as well. We love this place!! Definitely recommended!

Super casual hangout with a bunch of comfort foods. Meatloaf and chicken Alfredo dishes were great. White bean with shrimp. Ask about salt levels if sensitive.

Since moving to Colorado I've embraced green chili smothering almost every burrito I order. I have gotten better at handling the spice especially moving from a state the Black pepper is considered spicy to many. The green chili smothering my burrito at The Copper Pot was the best tasting green chili I've ever had. It 100% brings a good amount of heat that builds but because the green chili has such a great flavor I just wanted more. It is a well balanced chili that isn't too hot and definitely brings a great flavor. The crispy Carnitas in the burrito was a great addition, try it if you can. If you want to try someplace different then try this place. Also they do have bottomless mimosas if you are interested.
