Mountair Park

Went with my boyfriend and two friends to this park to hang out it has a lovely setup with a covered picnic table, a few benches as well as a decent sized playground for the Little ones.
Plenty of parking and another nice feature of the park is the community garden that is right at the end of the park on the back side where the RTD light rail tracks are they also have a good bike trail that passes near the rear end of the park and garden. It's a cool little spot for sure 😊 we had loads of fun!

Beautiful space with priceless displays of artwork. Maintained landscape and a view of Colorado Rockies where there sunrise is equally stunning to the sunsets just two blocks east of Lamar station ( lightrail). This park has a quaint farmers market too & on Thursdays from 2-5 at the main entrance on the north side of mountaineer park the market sells there products hand grown at rock bottom prices. Don't miss out come visit your dog will love you more if you bring them along it's pet friendly, there's a nice surprise at the bottom of the hill...

Love this park, especially the Sprout City Farm addition!! Very clean, safe and family oriented.

I like to park and rest here when on work breaks. It's clean, is patrolled often by the police so it feels safe, there's a restroom and you're not bothered by panhandling too much.

This is a nice little park for family an kids we have some homeless .They have been getting less than last year. I take my dog's everyday have never had a problem. They have baseball field, basketball , tennis ball, courts, gardens they have barbecue grills an benches for parties next to the playground they keep it pretty clean not as bad as last year. Not a very big park but good for the neighborhood an the communitie.

This is a park where my wife and I have basically lived at during the days, chilled in each other's arms during the languid afternoons, partied and relied on each other during the soft evenings, made sweet, passionate love beneath a magical blanket of stars, and had some of our best, most enduring talks and times together. Great place, Amazing memories!!!!

This is probably my favorite Park in the area. My three little boys love trains, so being able to see the trains go by while they're playing is a big plus. There are pavilions, there's a ton of huge, open space, there's a softball area, there's a community garden with musical instruments inside that the kids can play. All of the equipment is pretty good for little kids, mine are three and four. Has a very laid-back, relaxed feel. Has a porta-potty!! Big, open areas-but cozy enough that you can have a picnic and have a good day at the park. Way more laid back than Walker Branch. Walker Branch has two separate playgrounds, and is right next to the street, which makes it a lot harder to keep up with the little ones. However, at Mountair, the playground is down inside of a depression so you can keep an eye on the kids fairly easily. Lots of hiking/ walking trails. Where I go when I'm wanting to have a good day!
Handicap accessible, no water, porta potty on site.

Great Place for me watch the Sunset. & spend time to reflect on your life. & how very lucky we are. I'm learning to Love who. I am. God is Great and so is. Mountair Park very Peaceful...💯

Besides the homeless people it's chill. Nobody messes with you.

A place of serenity surrounded by chaos. The bike path is a great place for my little ones to practice with the skateboard. As the sun sets the lightrail passing is a thing of beauty.

The City of Lakewood has done a great deal of work to renovate the property from what it once was. Recently updated playground, a community garden, a Little League sized Baseball Field with a large grandstand for seating, as well as a basketball court. Additionally there are a few Porta-Potties on site.

I like bringing my dog for walks here it's never over crowded & my dog loves it too.
