Dr. Sam is such a caring, knowledgeable vet who runs a veterinary practice that really caters to pet families. His practice is open every Saturday for most of the day. They also can make home visits if that works best for the family. When a neighbor needed immediate attention for her dog, Murdoch, Dr. Sam made it his priority to go to her house and treat her dog. Unfortunately her dog had to be put down and Dr. Sam did it in the most compassionate way right at her home. He is very patient and kind. Also, and just as important, his staff are wonderful and also very warm and caring human beings. I recommend them highly. 🐶💜

What an amazing full service family wellness with pets veterinary clinic. As a hospital they take great care of the fur babies as well as their humans. Our beloved bulldog passed suddenly and unexpectedly in the middle of the night. When we called them first thing in the morning, they were full of gentle compassion and put our minds and hearts at ease immediately. They took care of us with grace and efficiency at a fair price but they over delivered with their services, love and compassion. I was blown away and it made the grieving process better in every way. Thank you so much.

I've been impressed with everything about this vet. The quality of care is wonderful, the pricing is very competitive, and the staff are great to work with. Even though there is a more "famous" vet very nearby, it is worth the 15 minute drive to Golden Paws which offers the same certified procedures at significantly lower prices, greater availability, and a more experienced staff. I also appreciate the fact and science based discussions and advice they provide. The mobile vet option has also been extremely convenient.

We love Golden Paws. Collectively have had 4 pets under their care. Dr. French is incredible. Extremely knowledgeable and great at explaining. She also came to administer end of life treatment to our Golden who passed away at the end of the summer. They won’t overcharge you and explain a wide variety of options.

Hands down the best vet I’ve ever had. I’ve had many dogs over many years and Dr. Sam and Golden Paws hit the mark on all the things you want in a vet - a friendly office with seamless appointments, fair prices with transparency of what to expect, brilliant clinicians all trained in the most recent care trends for your pet while always offering options, and above all compassion from the front desk staff to the veterinarians. It’s Dr. Sam’s clinic but ALL the doctors and technicians there are amazing! I highly recommend Golden Paws Animal Hospital.

I can’t say enough about how much we love golden paws! Our pup took a tumble and broke his leg. They got him in for an exam quickly and were able to do surgery the next day. They helped me feel at ease. The week before we had our older dog in for dental surgery. They did an amazing job. I can’t say how much we love them!

This is hands down the most caring vet i have ever been too. I recently had my puppy diagnosed with parvo and on the recommendation of my aunt i brought him to this vet when another one failed me. They worked hard to save my puppys life. They helped me apply for care credit so i could afford to have him hospitalized, and now 2 days later, he isnt completely better but he is leagues ahead of where he was. I cant thank you enough Golden Paws ❤

Golden paws has taken care of both our dog and our cat since we moved to Golden. We always know that they are in the best hands when bringing them there, and the constant communication between us and their vet techs is highly appreciated! They were sensitive and helpful when my cat was diagnosed with feline cancer, and offered holistic approaches to caring for him. I have nothing but good things to say! Part of the family <3

I've had great experiences here with my older dog. We've had an exam, acupuncture, and minor surgery. The staff is knowledgeable, there is no surprise bill because they work up the pricing as you talk so you know exactly what you are agreeing to. They also do house calls if you just pay mileage. I highly recommend!

Golden Paws is hands down the best animal hospital I have ever been to. Dr. Sam and his wonderful staff- Chris and Amy, are the most caring and compassionate care givers. My husband and I were new to Golden and did not yet have an established vet here when our 12 year old black lab Reese became ill. I found Golden Paws and based on their excellent reviews, I called to set up an appointment. They were very friendly on the phone and let me bring Reese in right away, without charging me any kind of “emergency” vet fee. Dr. Sam was so kind and gentle with her, and then he was extremely compassionate as he had to give me the dreadful news that she had lymphoma. He went over the treatment options with me, but never made me feel pressured to choose any one route.

Over the next two months, we continued to see Dr. Sam as he provided treatments and monitored Reese’s progress. Dr. Sam, Chris, and Amy were so kind to us every visit as we were going through this difficult time.
When the dreaded time came, Dr. Sam & Chris came to our house on extremely short notice. We were devastated, but they were professional, caring, and patient with us as our sweet pup crossed the rainbow bridge. I can’t imagine going through this most difficult of situations with any of the impersonal vets I had been to in the past. Once we are ready to adopt another pup, we will definitely return to Golden Paws.

The facility is nice and clean. They will go above and beyond to fit you into their schedule. Their communication is amazing. During an appointment, Dr. Sam displays the services, medications, ect. that he is providing on a screen so that you can clearly see the costs. After each visit, Dr. Sam sends an email with his “Golden Three Messages”, which includes a summary and follow up notes based on the appointment. Above all, you can tell that they really care about your furry friend. I simply can’t recommend them enough!

Dr Colleen, Lottie and Holly made things efficient and relieving, when I had a stressful surprise unscheduled morning visit. I have been a few times and the billing is lower than what my friends tell me they spend btw. The care is thorough, they follow through in the moment and after, I get prompt replies when I use the online contact form and its worth the drive for me.

Doctor Sam takes the best care of my dogs! We wouldn’t go anywhere else, and were so grateful for his knowledge of giant breeds. Thank you for always being responsive , Doctor sam! This is the most personable vet clinic I’ve ever been to. They know you and your dogs by name and will always follow up with you regardless of how tiny your question is. Highly recommend!

Friendly and professional staff and the vets are great! We have been seeing Dr. Sam for years. They are great about keeping you informed of prices for services, medications and procedures. They even have a mobile service and will come to you if needed. Can't recommend Golden Paws enough!

We have been very happy taking our dog to Dr. Sam and the entire staff here. They are all friendly and caring, the prices here are very reasonable and the quality of work is great too. Our dog gets his teeth cleaned, vaccinations kept up to date and anything else we need for him. They always have good scheduling options, emergency visits aren’t insanely priced, they have a list of 24 hour vets they recommend, there’s plenty of parking, communication is very easy either by phone or email. All around a great bet experience is provided here.

This is the absolute best vet I have ever been to. The staff is amazing from the Docs to the techs (special shout out to Holly for putting up with my challenging Akita!) to the office staff. Everyone is very genuine, knowledgeable , patient and friendly. I really appreciate how responsive the Docs/techs are when I have questions and after procedures, the Docs actually call in person to give an update! The follow-up is fantastic - they send an email with results, next steps, care - whatever is applicable. I cannot recommend Golden Paws highly enough.

I have to say that I am very impressed with how this vet hospital is ran! The FOTH staff are great! The 2 vets I have worked with are absolutely amazing! Thank you Golden Paws you all nailed it! I'm so happy I have found you guys!!!!!

With at least one cat with worms we needed to see a vet ASAP, my daughter made an appointment and I ended up with questions before we went in but the office was close. But get this, they answer their chat here on Google!!! It was so helpful and Holly was friendly and quick to reply. Thank you for helping our cats and we'll see you soon!

The mobile vet service is so convenient, and Dr. Sam is amazing! He saved the day when our cat was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and needed to be seen frequently for bloodwork and injections. He always takes the time to answer all my questions during appointments and has been incredibly helpful and responsive over both text and email outside of appointments. This place is WAY better than Aspen Ridge. Definitely recommend!!

Highly recommended. They are great here! I drive past several other veterinary clinics on my 45 minute drive just to go there. They can always get us in within a day or two and they even have a mobile vet!
