The news came, our little girl had a heart issue; Nana, a rescue, survived parvo with her brother from the pound we adopted them from. PetCardia was our answer. From the initial call to the first appointment, we were given the highest quality of care for our baby. Dr. Amy Dixon-Jimenez educated us, giving the pros and cons of the procedure Nana would require. She and her staff prepared and assured us throughout the entire process. It has been two years, and Nana continues to shine! She enjoys life playing with her other fur family. And we are blessed to have her in our lives. Each time we visit, the staff acknowledges Nana with her name on a sign, welcomes her back, and greets her, letting her know her life is a priority. I don’t remember every name, yet we have to share how grateful we are to have found PetCardia, from the front desk to Morgan, especially Dr. Amy Dixon-Jimenez. What a fantastic staff! And with a humbled heart, thank you! I know Nana and her brother(s) do too.

As always CVCA and all the employees are wonderful!! I have a Sphynx cat that has heart issues and he is now 9 years old all because Dr Dixon has taken care of him since his heart murmur was detected by my veterinarian over 7 years ago! He's happy, loving, social and my pride and joy. I am convinced that he is thriving all due to the staff at CVCA.💖💖

The staff and Dr. Dixon are great! They are so thorough, kind and professional. I can’t thank Dr. Dixon enough for the care and level of expertise she has provided to Daisy!

It was hard for me to tell who was more nervous on our trip to CVCA, me or Maxine our dog. We had been referred there for a heart murmur. We were immediately put at ease on entering the facility. A warm greeting was enhanced by seeing Maxine’s name on a white board in reception directing us where to check in.

The entire staff was great. Their friendly approach and patience while explaining what was going to take place was focused on communication. Dr LaFauci was fantastic as she explained what we were looking at during the echo cardio imaging. The good news was that while there are some issues non of them are earth shaking.

If you are looking for a caring veterinary setting with great communication skills CVCA Wheat Ridge is the place to go.

The most amazing team. They work so incredibly well together and we’re so gentle and sweet with my cat who’s truly like my child. Dr Fauci took her time with diagrams even to draw and thoroughly explain her heart health, even picked my Lulu up to rest on her lap while she was doing echo measurements. It made me feel like she’s truly in the best care and made me feel so safe seeing how they treated her as if she was the team’s own fur child. The appt was a long wait, but so beyond worth it :)

Nothing but praise for Dr. Dixon-Jiménez and her whole staff. Everybody is so kind and sweet. They provide very thoughtful and knowledgeable care in such delicate situations. I wouldn't think twice about bringing my pup in for their care.

There are new Vet. This past August we had
to decide put our 6 yr. Old Corgi down our get him back surgery we love 💕 our Dog he got back surgery they did fantastic job.

I cannot express how amazing our visit was with Petcardia. From the front desk to the visit to checkout was a great experience. Alexa the vet assistant was remarkable with Murray. So gentle, caring and she was very knowledgeable. Kendra the Vet Doctor was incredible, she took amazing care of Murray during the exam and her knowledge was remarkable. I appreciate that she was able to explain things in each step and that she took the time for me to understand everything. I am pleased to say that Murray does not need a cardiologist, but if you do I highly recommend their team of exports. Thank you PetCardia.

The people at CVCA are phenomenal. They really seem to care about Brisco. Dr Dixon explains everything to me and seems to be as happy as I am when Brisco is doing well.

Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for this place. I had to bring in my 15-year-old Yorkie after she was having episodes of passing out to see their cardiologist. I put in an application for an appointment at 7pm and the next morning I had an email waiting in my inbox. GiAnna at the front desk was extremely helpful in getting us in as soon as possible.

On the day of, our appointment was at 2p and they were ready waiting for us when we walked in, even with personalized sign for Pixie. I think our worst fear as pet parents is not getting answers but within 30 minutes from arriving we had all the answers for our little girl. Their attentiveness, communication and testing far exceeded any expectation I had.

From GiAnna at the front desk, Morgan the Tech and Dr LaFauci, I can't thank you enough for your treatment of Pixie and everything you have done for her and continue to do.

Dr. Amy Dixon-Jimenez and her staff are amazing! Before I started bringing my old man here, he saw a cardiologist elsewhere; let's just say the difference is night and day. Dr. Dixon-Jimenez is very nice, personable, and so informative! I feel like I can trust what she says, that Shorty is not just another patient to be seen, and that his "results" were not just read off from a scipt.
I did not have to wait to be seen for my appointment, the appointment itself was not drawn out, and the technician (Rachel) that took care of us through the whole appointment was equally amazing. Both times I have been here have been great experiences, and this shall remain Shorty's cardiologist going forward.

This was a great place with the type of dogs we have they treated us like we had a little puppy but Akita is far from a little puppy and my Pollo is a little aggressive to other dogs and we're treated with such love and caring thank you guys for being there for my puppy's

These folks are wonderful! I have two dogs in their care and I bless the day we came to Dr. Amy and her helpers Kim, Gianna, Rachel, and Morgan.

Was well worth the wait. I did have to schedule out several months for my appointment, but I ended up getting in sooner as they had some cancellations. I had been dreading this appointment for my dog, but I felt much better after the visit. I was greeted with a sign that had my boy's name on it, welcoming him to the clinic. So sweet. The waiting room is very clean, spacious, separated for dogs and cats. Receptionist was welcoming and kind. Got back to the room relatively quick, and spent some time with the RVT going over his history and what to expect next. She took him across the hall to the echo room. The entire time I could hear the vet and the tech talking baby talk to my boy, giving him lots of love and treats. He was so nervous but to hear them spending the whole time making him feel better was a comfort in itself. You can tell they care about animals. The vet then came in after all the tests and spent plenty of time explaining things, still interacting with my dog, answering any questions. I did not feel rushed, and left with all my questions answered. Yes, you will spend some money but it's well worth it and could be much more expensive considering all the things they do during the appointment. Thank you CVCA. I hope to not have to return too often, but I know my boy will be in great hands if he does.

From the moment we arrived at CVCA, we felt welcomed and attended to. Every staff person greeted us promptly and with a smile. They were very efficient, explained what to expect during our appointment and took their time answering our questions.Dr. Amy Dixon was amazing and did such a thorough job of explaining the results of her exam and the test results. She followed up with a detailed treatment summary to my email the same day. It was also apparent that she had prepared for our visit as she was knowledgeable about our dog’s medical history and included this in her assessment. What we had expected to be a stressful day turned out to be a very positive experience. We couldn’t recommend CVCA more highly!

Always extremely happy with the professionalism and warmth of service at CVCA. They get you right in with no waiting, and the team is organized and knows exactly what they are doing which gives peace of mind in sometimes difficult situations. Most importantly, you can tell they really care about their patients and they always take the time to explain results.

We have been impressed with the staff and care for our cat that has a complicated cardio problem. We just completed a six month cardio-echo check-up. We were allowed into every step of the process for the echo with clear explanations. Our doctors have worked with us these past months to adjust medication since we were struggling with giving our cat pills orally. We only owned our rescue for five weeks when it was discovered that she had a congenital heart complication that had us doubting the decision we had made to get this cat. We chose a seven year old rescue cat assuming we had several good years before having to worry about major medical issues. To say we felt side-swiped was an understatement. Fortunately, we did have pet insurance to help with the initial unexpected cost. However, it is the care and support of the Petcardia team in working with us that has been instrumental in our making the decision that we will be the forever home for our loving, tenacious, beautiful cat.

I am very pleased with Petcardia. They are very caring and professional. I had 2 dogs with heart and lung issues. I lost one , but the other one was put on medication and his last checkup revealed his heart has returned to normal size and his lungs are stable. I cried when the vet told me he is better. My pets ARE my family and I trust Petcardia to help them.

Dr. Amy and her team have always been so good and taken great care of our little Juliette over the years. Juliette's heart issue has actually improved with the care received. We could not be happier and recommend them without reservation.

I can't say enough good things about all of the AMAZING care that was given to our furbaby. Everyone was gentle and understanding about his stress level and took their time with him to let him just ease into the process.

You can tell that each person all the way up to the Doctor, truly cares about the animal they are dealing with and want to address every concern you may have.

I have had to deal with a lot of specialized medical professionals for animals over the years and I would ABSOLUTELY take my pet here again. I am very grateful to have met them.
