César Chávez Park

Soul Dog Rescue had a tent at the Tennyson fair. It was a great location to talk to many people about adopting fostering and volunteering with soul dog.

I take my daughter to the playground here often. We love it!

There is also a large open space for dogs and community events, two bocce ball pits (gravel), a half basketball court, picnic area, and some ping pong tables.

Awesome little neighborhood park. If you have a dog, there is a daily unofficial off-leash play session at 8am. Also has 2 bocce ball courts, outdoor ping pong, basketball court, and playground.

Beautiful well taken care of park with amazing history and culture. The children play structure in the shape of a microphone is absolutely amazing with tons of slides and winding pathways. Worth a trip to check it out.

Great little park with a very friendly feel. There are lots of tables, a basketball zone, a great playground with soft mulch and it's right on Tennyson St. with tons of good food and beer around. Can't go wrong!

Very nice, clean, well-maintained park with a nice playground with equipment for a variety of ages. Not many (if any) benches in the shade, so bring a chair or blanket for sitting on the grass. I also appreciated the dedication to the park's namesake and all he stood for.

Great little neighborhood park. Basketball court, ping pong tables, bocce, a playground and a large open field. Picnic tables and trees to sit under. In summer we meet friends here for picnic dinners with takeout from nearby restaurants.

Wheelchair accessable by ramps. Two outdoor, all weather, cement ping pong tables are in this park next to each other. Ready for a round robin tournament.

This is park offers two regulation size cement ping-pong tables, and a full court for basketball. Also a sanded area for cornhole or horse shoes. Are fairly large field for soccer or volley ball. There's a porta potty in the park that they keep pretty clean. A decent size jungle gym and a tire swing for children. Also for you Pokemon Go players there's three Poke Stops and a Poke Gym at the park. Also some pretty rare Pokemon have been seen and caught in the park.

Great little park. Perfect location! Love that there’s a little loop you can walk with the kiddos or dogs.

Simple park, it was a nice stroll to have nearby at Tennyson between entertainment choices. It's nothing fancy but it was clean and well kept when I visited the little park. Would suggest it for a breather between anything else you have going on

This is a good park for little ones. There are 3 slides and high and low things to climb on. There are no swings. But it was still a good afternoon.

Have you ever gone somewhere on a whim and like.... wow.... this park is fairly small and not much to see here (about a block all around....) but.... it's a fairly maintained area and just to take your family out for a small very quiet place after or before lunch... nice.... a few blocks from a lot of different venues (family wise) enjoy your family.... ☺

This is a sweet little community park in North Denver. Be sure to look at the art work, bust of Cesar Chavez and then research the history of the Chicano movement in Denver.
