Corner Mechanic

I was traveling through the Southwest and when I arrived in Golden, my truck transmission seemed to have a problem. I talked to Alex at Corner Mechanic. Explained the situation and he told me to get it there and he would try to look at it in a couple days. He did infact diagnose the problem of a broken shifter cable. My truck is a 2003 Dodge Dakota. He miraculously found a new cable and installed it. Cassie helped by keeping me in the loop. I now know why their parking lot is full. These are knowledgeable people. They helped me get on my way home. Great people here at Corner Mechanic. I highly recommend them.

Took my 2500 ram into their shop for a door problem. Fixed the door, changed the oil and did a lube job and an air cleaner! Very fast and did a great job! Reasonable priced!

I had taken my 2014 Dodge Caravan to three mechanic shops and it still ran terribly rough. Without the manufacturer's "code"...the shops could not repair it. No "code" ever lit up. Tim at Corner Mechanic did not need a code from the mfgr's diagnostic tool. The engine had to be pulled out for the repair that Tim diagnosed...again...without needing some code. He had it fixed in 2 days. Good old-fashioned diagnosis from an experienced mechanic is all that my van needed. Thank you! Donna H

The Corner Mechanic is THE place to take your car. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. Bobby and Alex were able to inspect my car almost immediately, Kassi was very punctual and communicative, and Alex gave us a detailed and honest update on our car. On top of all that, they didn't charge us for the inspection. These people deeply care about the cars and their customers. You'll be in great hands!

I worked near Corner Mechanic for years and used them for all my maintenance (other than some oil changes). I no longer work or live near them, so it wouldn't be easy for me to take my car there since I have a single car household. I wish all mechanics were as good with the fair pricing of Corner Mechanic. Have tried two other mechanics in the last 2 years and still searching for a mechanic that will do good work for similar prices.

Excellent Customer Service and High Integrity! We stopped for gas on the way home from the mountains and noticed oil pouring out of our engine. The team at Summit got us in right away and diagnosed the issue for us. The engine was still under warranty from another mechanic. Instead of trying to pressure us into a costly repair, the crew at Corner Mechanic helped us arrange a tow so the repairs could be done under the warranty coverage. We would definitely visit them again!

We were ready to head back to Indiana from a visit to Golden. Our engine light came on so we headed to Corner Mechanic. They were swamped and made the time to check the code. Alex determined we had likely purchased bad gas and recommended a course of action that would get us in the road quickly and cost him and us nothing but about 15 minutes each. Fantastic customer service. We highly recommend Corner Garage for anything you need.

These folks are really good, they always take great care of my vehicles! There's a reason I go 30 miles to use them for all my automotive needs when there are mechanics shops much closer to me. Very honest and professional, I rate them 6 stars out of five.Thanks Corner Mechanic!

My tire just didn't sound right after my dealership replaced the wheel housing and bearing components. I took it back to the dealer at least 4 times and they insisted nothing was wrong. I asked the Corner Mechanic to take a look and Alex offered to ride with me and listen for the sound. He immediately diagnosed the problem and he took the time to write it up so I could persuade the dealership to make it right. It worked! Alex was also kind enough to waive the diagnostic fee - he was sympathetic knowing the dealer pulled a fast one on me. I will go here again and again!

I had a wonderful experience at Corner Mechanic! I have always had a difficult time navigating car stuff as a young woman (trusting a mechanic is giving me a fair price/being truthful, being respected, etc) and I had a great experience here with Cassie and Alex. Communication was great and I appreciated Alex taking the time to explain exactly what was happening with my car and how it was fixed. Much appreciated and would recommend 100%. Thank you!

They were able to get me in quickly and fix another shops work on my cooling system in just a few days. They were professional and explained the work they did to me in detail as well as walk me through it. Initial estimate was off by ~50 on an almost 2k job and it was the first time a shop out here has ever apologized for it running over even though I gave authorization on it.

It was a lovely experience and I will definitely use them again next time my car needs work.

I absolutely love this shop!!! I will never take my cars anywhere else. I had my radiator go out and the whole team took great care of me. They were able to get me in and get my car fixed right away. They treated me like I was their own family and even took the time to show me where the radiator cracked. I highly recommend this shop. They will treat you awesome and they care about you and the work they do on your cars!!!

Alex was amazing he was so helpful and cares so much for his customers! It would definitely be worth a drive to take your car here if you want someone to actually care about what their doing to your car, the front desk lady was amazing as well! Thank Alex :)

My husband and I brought in a vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection. These guys did a thorough job and found issues with the vehicle and spared us from a bad purchase. What’s more is that when they heard how hard of a time we’ve had in our car search process, they decided to not charge us any fee! Please don’t waltz in there and expect to get free service- my point is that these men did a stand up job and topped it with class. And you should take your car. If you're looking for a mechanic, this is the only place we trust. Joe and Sharla are honest, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Their mechanics are the best in town. We've been going to them for 10 years, and they've kept our cars running and our family safe. We've had various problems with our used cars, they've been able to meet every challenge. Their pricing is fair and service top notch.

What a fantastic business! I sent my son an older car from Chicago to Golden to use at school. The car ended up not starting and needed some work with the battery. The pro's at the Corner Mechanic went above and beyond to help my son. It is great to know that a business still exists that puts the customers needs first. I couldn't have asked for a more considerate and helpful place to take my car into! I brought my outback in to have a concerning noise checked, and asked if it would be ready just within one day before I had to make a 10 hour drive. They not only were able to get everything done in this time, but they thoroughly explained what was going on and addressed and fixed what turned out to be a whole list of issues! I'm so grateful that they were able to help me in such a time crunch, and give my car some overdue maintenance! I highly recommend going here!
