Kona Bowls

We came here for a mid day snack because it looked so good online and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! SO SO SO GOOD!!!!! We got the "OG" and added peanut butter. 10/10 recommend! It was a little on the higher priced side but thats because it's huge! My fiance and I shared, and it was just the perfect amount and worth every penny!

I had the Poke Bowl. The fish was fresh and tender, the rice was nice and firm/moist. The cucumbers were fresh and crispy. There was also Mac-and-cheese which added a nice fusion.

The Poke bowl was nicely seasoned and came with soy sauce. They also have sriracha and other sauce available to grab and place in the dish.

The staff were super friendly and efficient!
The food is reasonably priced- in the middle of Golden, also in comparison to other Poke Shops.

PBBJ for the win! If you are a peanut butter lover you are going to love this! It had the freshest fruit and smoothest base. The staff was all females and you could tell they all got along. It was fun walking in, they had the music up and smiles on, I knew it was going to be made to perfection. I will for sure keep this place on the top of my list when visiting Golden again.

Got the sunrise brekkie Buddha bowl. Very impressed with the quantity and quality of the food. In total we got two bowls and a smoothie and it came to $44. A little steep but the ingredients are very fresh in the restaurant is lovely. It was a pretty long wait, about 20 minutes. I played the uke while we waited (nice touch). They have some cool merch for sale. It's located on the main drag in Golden, so it's nice to sit streetside and watch the town go by. Would highly recommended this place.

Lovely spot in Golden for healthy and fresh snacks! Sometimes there's a bit of wait but I know to order ahead online when I'm rushed on time. I live the good vibes, fresh fruits and healthy options.

My go to is the iced chai shroom latte and I love their Buddha bowl wrap! The toasts are also fabulous and now im really hungry and think I'm going to go there for breakfast!

Def worth checking this place out and feel free to being your pup for the outdoor seating on the street.

fresh and delicious with great vegan and gluten free options. the salads and bowls are well balanced with protein, fiber, and healthy fats - so they are very filling and nutritious! i tried the vitamin sea juice, the kale caesar salad, and the garden toast. the staff was super cheerful, helpful, and attentive! i’ll be back

We were there on vacation in early January and stopped at Kona Coffee Cafe for a pick me up. Wow. Absolutely top notch coffee and the staff were fun and helpful. 10/10, telling all my friends who are in the area to try this place out!

We live in Golden and finally got around to trying Kona Bowls...YUM!!! After living in L.A. for so long, I was missing having a great smoothie/acai bowl place near me. We had a smoothie and a bowl and they were both absolutely delicious. The two girls working there were friendly and helpful with my mango allergy :) A new staple for sure.

I recently moved to the area and was craving a healthy breakfast. The Lava Bowl BEYOND fit the bill and was delicious. I used to live in Hawaii as well and the dose of Aloha was extra awesome.

One of my favorite spots to eat at when I’m in Colorado. The perfect light snack after a day of hiking. My best friend got the charcoal one and recommends to go to the bathroom and wipe your face really well one your finished because it does stain your mouth. Very friendly and the restrooms are well kept.

Kona Bowls for the win! 🏁 I feel like I’m sitting just off the beach in SoCal or Hawaii in the center of Golden. Surfing on TV and Jack Johnson on the radio - I could spend all day in here! Whether I’m looking for a smoothie, an açaí bowl, or the best avocado toast West of the Mississippi, Kona is my go-to for healthy delicious food.
The new location at 1111 Washington is bright and alive with the best energy. It feels like family inside. Thanks, Alyssa, you are an artist!

Top notch! We were headed to Golden to tube the river. Wife asked where I wanted to eat and I said Nalu on Oahu. This place is a great match and we loved it. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and made to order. The kids got pizza in the food hall too.

It was a cloudy but hot and unusually humid day in the beautiful hills of Golden, Colorado and what better way than to cool off with some Hawaiian vibes! I got the Purple Haze and it was extremely tasty! I went just after Noon and it took about 10 minutes to get the smoothie because they are very busy making other items on their menu like açaí bowls, wraps, and other superfood items! The atmosphere is chill and reminiscent of the beach and ‘ohana!

I frickin love this place. Sad? Kona bowls. Getting married? Kona bowls? Need to study? Kona bowls. Happy? Kona bowls. Brunch with friends? Kona bowls. This is my go-to place!!

Kona has a great menu whether your looking for a quick snack, treat or healthy lunch. The only downside is their store set up where the menu is written in small print and off to the side which is not the most convenient to view, as you have to block the line to order.

Love this spot. The food is stellar, the vibe is sweet, the music on the radio is the best, and there's even a ukulele on the wall for customers to play! 10/10
