The food was delish, the service was awesome and the Margarita's were tasty, I will definitely go there again when I am in Montrose!

They custom made me a huge serving size to fulfill my huge appetite and it was absolutely amazing. They didn't hesitate to accommodate exactly what I wanted. Food was amazing, staff even more amazing. Thanks for the wonderful experience - big dude in black tank top.

Made a return visit today. The server was excellent. They brought out tasty fresh salsa and fresh made chips. I ordered a side of guacamole. Very good.

For lunch I ordered the enchiladas lunch special. There were several choices. I ordered the shredded beef and the green pork chili.

The beef was good the green chili was excellent.

I will be back.

Service: Prompt, never had to wait to order or for drinks. Food was out quick.
Food: Got the Viva Burrito and cheese Enchilada. It was awesome. Totally satisfied my Mexican food craving. Great flavor, Decent Prices. Chips and salsa with bean dip for free was a bonus. Salsa had a good flavor and a little bite to it.
Overall: Will definitely be returning!

Our go to Mexican food restaurant in Montrose. Great food, great service. Large portions. Shredded beef is fabulous! Love their tamales too! Small and family owned. Might be called a hole in the wall, but aren't those always the best places?

I have been eating here for over seven years. They were first location was in Gunnison and visited them whenever I was in town. Now, they are located in Montrose and I still try to eat there every time I am there. My favorite is the Tacos de Asada and my wife really enjoys their tamales. Every time we eat there it is just as good or even better than the last. It might not be the newest looking or have the fanciest decor but I have to say, this is the best Mexican food I have found since moving away from Texas. They have been voted the best Mexican food in Montrose two years in a row now. Very delicious and they have room for large parties.

This is locally owned. Eat here and your supporting local community members. Often. My family and I are the most chaotic patrons in the lobby. The staff only laugh at my children and tell us not to worry as we try to clean up

We LOVE Viva Mexico!!! We have eaten with them for several years, following them from Gunnison to Montrose. Being from a city that KNOWS Mexican food (San Antonio, TX), I feel qualified to say they know Mexican food. I have never had a bad meal there...and they are all so nice. Great service....Did I say I love their Carnitas?

Chimichangas del Mar were light, fluffy, stuffed completely full of shrimp and crab meat. Absolutely delicious! Very attentive staff. Excellent margaritas. Great dinner and experience!

Excellent service, huge portions. Refried beans with the ubiquitous chips and salsa. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food provided. Overall enjoyable experience.

If there's one thing Montrose has in spades, it's Mexican restaurants... And most of them are very good. Viva Mexico is no exception. Very good food, and nice staff! Very accommodating to special requests!

We had tempura veggies & shrimp. The vegetables & shrimp were beautifully battered, very light & not greasy, scrumptious... Service was good.

I had never been here before, but it was really great! It looks a little funky from the outside, but inside is very nice and the food was really delicious!

So I bragged about this place to my parents, who are food connoisseurs, and my Dad said it was the best camarones de diablos hes ever had! And the rellenos which were the center of my brag DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Orale Viva Mucho Gracias!

Food is awesome and authentic, be careful when ordering because portions are generous. Service is friendly but be aware that the last order is one hour before closing time!

As always best home cooked meal sold Montrose. Impeccable service and excellent food. I feel like I'm back in mom's kitchen!

The food was wonderful! As well as the intire staff. We are definitely stopping here again when we go through town.
