Anderson Park

Great park to take the dog on a walk or have a picnic. Lots of green space for birthday parties and small events. Also connected to a large trail which is great for runners/bikers.

right on the Clear Creek Trail, Anderson Park is home to baseball fields, soccer fields, a huge pool with water slides, and a playground. also has access to the creek for wading and fishing, and the trail goes for miles in either direction. you’ll also find regular events at Anderson Park, from the annual Carnation Festival in the fall, to summer concerts, to kids activities. one of the best parks in the Denver area, and there’s stiff competition!

As others have noted, it is currently under construction, but the path along Clear Creek is open and beautiful. This will be a great park once it's fully open. I did run into a small gang of 8 year olds though which gave me some lip, but after a couple sick karate moves they scampered off to their mothers.

Beautiful Pool ,Park!! Love the Aquatic aerobics classes on Monday Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10:30 am. It's clean and staff are outstanding!!

Lovely park with lots of trees and Clear Creek flowing through it. Gal is a beautiful time of year for walks through it

Great walking trail along clear creek. Occasional wildlife sightings.

I love this place. They have a playground for kids, a basketball court, lots of open area, trees along the river, and even a small waterfall just downriver.

This was a great family place for us to go while visiting Denver! Alot of Denver still has Covid restrictions with this place being one of them. We went with calling ahead and were lucky enough to get in to swim from 2:15 -4pm today. The lady at the front desk was so nice and explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions!! It was $17 for myself, 8 and 4 year old kids to swim for almost 2 hours. There is a big blue slide for bigger kids to do, then a small zero entry depth pool with 2 small slides, a mushroom water fall, flower water fall and then other metal water sculptures for the kids to play. Lifeguards were all very nice and informative. We did go on a hike while we waited for our reservation along a river/creek that was a lot of fun. Beautiful flowers, rocks and a few small snakes lol.. the kids loved walking along the water.. there is a side walk path and then a nature path we used both!We would come back here again!

I first discovered Anderson Park when I was a young boy in the 80s when my friends and I would ride our bikes from Regis (the Kmart that was there RIP) up the bike trail along Clear Creek west all the way up to Golden and stopping to rest in Anderson Park. I love Anderson Park it is so peaceful and you can find so many quiet spots to sit alone and think that are near the creek. I stopped by just to walk around and clear my head one afternoon and it really helped. There were only about maybe 10 other people in the park, one walking a dog, two maintenance workers and three cars besides mine so it was nice and quiet and peaceful.

This place has everything for summer days, a very nice and clean playground, picnic tables, big parking lot, trails to walk next to the creek, a great pool. Pretty well cared fields to enjoy the grass and walk with your family and pets.

Love walking down the creek with my 2 pups. They love being able to walk and play around in the water. Nice place for bikers and walkers. Stays nice and cool with all the trees by the greenbelt.

Awesome, spacious park. Currently undergoing some remodeling but I'm sure it will be beautiful after all of the work is done. I have come here frequently since I was a kid. Wheat Ridge does a great job keeping it beautiful

Connected paved and unpaved paths along creek, great for walking, biking, exploring. Has nice playground for kids, a soccer and softball/baseball fenced field, covered pavilions for eating and grilling. Also has an outdoor swimming pool and attached center for parties and such. Bathrooms open most of the year. Love to come relax and walk my dogs here among the beautiful natural landscape and creek.
