I started going to Japanese Auto Service in 2008 after the recommendation of a coworker. Ross, Doc, Matt and the team have taken excellent care of my 1999 Honda Civic Si over the years. From routine maintenance to most recently diagnosing and fixing a strange rear suspension noise they have great attention to detail and always provide quality service at a fair price. Excellent mechanical service, friendly and competent staff, and quick turn around for a basic oil change/general vehicle inspection. Will be returning here next time my beloved Toyota Matrix requires service.

Excellent service! I worked with Matt on getting some things taken care of on our Rav4. Scheduling was fast and easy. Pricing is up front so there weren't any surprise charges. Repairs were not made without being approved. Recommended repairs were accompanied by the cost of each. We got our car back the same day it was scheduled for, so that was great too.

The workers here are very knowledgeable and approachable. There is a reason why they have so many good reviews. I have taken my truck here several times for oil changes and tire rotations. Pro tip: call ahead to schedule your oil change. You can either drop off your vehicle or if you want to wait in the lobby, you have to get it done as soon as they open up. Their oil changes include fluid inspection, and tire inspections. Overall my experience has been amazing here and I highly recommend anyone to go here

Cannot say enough good things about Japanese Auto Service.
I had a suspension problem that two shops (one was the dealer!) did not identify.
Japanese Auto sent their shop foreman on a drive with me to allow me to demonstrate the issue. They found the problem straightaway and kept me fully informed on the progress of the repairs.
This will be the ONLY place I go for service from now on.

I have always had great experiences with Japanese Auto Service. They communicate well and are honest. Also, most of their parts have a 2 year/24k mile warranty (which is longer than most) so you can have confidence that the repair will be covered.

If you are looking for the repair shop for your Japanese vehicles then this shop is the top choice. They are reliable, great source and knowledgeable about JP cars, and especially they are very honest. Drop off your car for service, address your concerns and pick up later with peace in mind. I have been using their services for almost 20 years. Happy to have them in Denver metro.

My experience at Japanese Auto Service was great. I took a vehicle in to receive a pre-purchase inspection and they were able to see me the day after I called. The inspection was quick and thorough. The tech explained the findings and the shop manager walked me through the recommendations. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a PPI performed!

Where to start...first off I would like to say that Japanese Auto Service is a premier shop that has set the standard for all shops. They were professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Their prices were fair and they go above and beyond with communication and ultimately making sure everything they do is in the client's best interest. I took my FJ80 here for a head rebuild and EGR issues. Couldn't be happier with their service and ability to get me back on the road. I will definitely be coming back! Be sure to ask for "Doc" - he was awesome and will make sure you get taken care of! Lastly, they are a veteran-owned business and as a veteran, it was an absolute pleasure to work with them. So don't search anymore - Japanese Auto Service will get you taken care of!

This company came highly recommended to me so I decided to give them a try and I was very happy I did - they took care of my 2006 Toyota Sienna and my Lexus in a very prompt and cost efficient manner and kept me informed about the service time and the charges. They explained the issues and resolved the problem and told me that they use genuine parts which I appreciated. The cost was much less than the dealerships I have been dealing with so I will look forward to having them check out my cars before my upcoming road trips.

My goodness — I called in to inquire about possible service for a 1987 mazda with carburetor issues and was given such warm, informative, detailed care over the phone by Doc which even resulted in two recommendations of where I might be properly served by mechanics that would deal with the nuance of my issue. Doc reflected and elevated my comprehension so that I truly got off the phone in a better position. I honestly wish I could take my truck here! Go here if you can and treat these people with care, because they clearly do so for their customers and non-customers alike. Gratitude, Doc and team!

I can't tell you how grateful I am for the customer focused attitude and attention Japanese Auto Service provided me. They were proactive in alerting me to damage caused by a towing service, and offered their video surveillance footage to help me navigate my case. All the repairs were done faster than expected. I have taken my vehicles to Japanese Auto Service since 1996, when I moved to Colorado. They still keep my '93 4-Runner in top shape mechanically. When I added a '06 Prius, my wife's '05 Rav4 and our son's '01 Tacoma, they also serviced them, ensuring that they are all extremely reliable vehicles. I liked their service so much that they now service about 15 fleet vehicles owned by the nonprofit organization I run.

Over the decades no job has been too big or too small for Japanese Auto Service. This includes completely replacing the engine on the '01 Tacoma, which was purchased used and apparently mistreated. They replaced the hybrid battery in the Prius when it stopped working after 12 years. The crew is always extremely polite, knowledgeable, sensitive to my schedule and reliable. They do quality work and stand behind their service.

Unlike many shops that always seem to want to up-sell you in terms of the work that needs to be done, Japanese Auto Service will always try to solve the problem most cost-effectively. When the 4-Runner started getting loud while out of state, a dealer wanted to charge thousands to totally replace the exhaust system. JAS fixed the problem by replacing a seal that cost about $100. If there is a fault, it is saying that a given repair can be pushed off for a while rather than done today.

I can't say enough good things about Japanese Auto Service. They will look after your vehicles and value you as a customer.

I've been a customer of Japanese Auto Service for 40 years. Even though I now live 225 miles away I still have occasions where JAS is my top choice, like when a pack rat chewed through a wire on my old Tacoma which required removal of the intake manifold for access. When you really value your vehicles here's a shop you can trust.

Did a great job for an emergency car repair for my Mazda. Even gave us a discount when we discovered that the initial problem had caused other damages. All around the parts were market price and the labour costs were reasonable for the area. Is it ever fun to drop a bunch of money on an emergency car repair? No. But did Japanese Auto Service make it as painless as possible? Yes. They were professional and upfront, and I really liked the convenience of being able to look at their recommendations, approve work, and pay online.

I absolutely love these guys, and they are the only ones I trust my truck with. I have a tacoma with a slide in camper, which has required a lot of maintenance due to the payload, and Doc and the team at Japanese Auto have constantly gone above and beyond. I super appreciate the time they take to explain things to me, potential options, and future considerations. I am on the road a LOT, so their support and quality work supports me and my lifestyle so much. I can't recommend them enough!

They didn't call me back as promised with estimate and such after me giving all the info. Called back next week and they took the info again. Got everything done except the front running lights, as I mentioned when I left it. They said they would do it right then,but I had another appointment. Everyone was nice and professional except for the initial guy that never called me back last week. I had service done here before and was very happy with it then and now. They found some other minor problems they fixed at reasonable cost. The paper work indicated they didn't check the rear brakes. They said there was abnormal wear on a front tire, so probably a need for alignment for $244? dollars.
- motor replacement for driver window around $600!?
- I should have had the windshield wipers replaced when I was in there. AutoZone ones are falling off again.
Need to have batteries replaced on key fob too.
-march 14th - when everybody else were closed because of the snow storm, they were open and replaced my wipers and the battery in my key fob while I waited for a couple of minutes.
