if you get to go here, DO IT!!! My sister and I came into town to visit our older sister and while she was working we had to make ourselves busy. They have a student discount, the staff is so polite, and the atmosphere is amazing!!!! We each got a little cat pin and they had other adorable cat themed knickknacks!

This is a lovely cat cafe (though it's more a cat experience/relaxed adoption center than a cat 'cafe').

Every one of the kitties is an adoptable, and they were all extremely chill and happy little floofs. The DCC works directly with a sister cat shelter, and the kitties come directly from there. Most are adopted within days, making it a great model for finding kitties forever homes.

I would happily come back!

My daughter and I are in the area on vacation and visited this cat cafe. Super cute inside. Very clean. Doesn't smell like cats. Staff was nice. Cats seem very happy. If I could've adopted Professor Proton, I would have. What a wonderful cat. I hope someone loves him. My daughter and I spent a lot of time with him (he's got a half ear, stubby tail, no teeth). He was very sweet and loving and such a nice lap cat. We didn't want to leave him. But sadly, we're only here temporarily :(

What an amazing place! The kitties were so cute and sweet. We instantly fell in love with two of them, but alas, we are from Dallas and were just here visiting, so we can’t adopt. But this place is so wonderful. It was nice to just hang out and watch the kitties play. One even hopped up on my husband’s lap and stayed for a while. They are doing such great work saving kitties!!!

I visited Denver for the first time ever in January 2023 and this place was on my list because I love cats. I’ve been to two cat cafes here in Southern California and have decided that I will visit one cat cafe in every new city I visit. So many cute cats 🐱. Perfect for a cat lady like me😻. The orange tabby named Cider was sitting in the cat bed in the window for all the people walking by to admire him (I assume it’s a him since most orange cats are male). Cider loved being pet by everyone as well. The sleepy black and white tuxedo cat’s name is Litten and he wasn’t in the mood to entertain or be pet lol. The chubby cat with the orange bow was named either Chip or Whopper. Friendly but will playfully bat your hand away when he/she is tired of being pet.

All three of these cats had pending applications according to the website. There were 19 cats in the cafe and 13 were pending adoption when I went on January 14, 2023.

I have been coming to Denver Cat Company since 2016! This is the best place ever!! Cute little coffee shop nestled on Tennyson street that offers a variety of drinks and fun cat merchandise. There is an entry fee, but it isn’t expensive and totally worth it every time I’ve gone. The cats are all adoptable, which just makes it that much better! It also means that every time you go there’s always new cats to play with and cuddle! Some cats are obviously more active than others, and it can be busy at times, but I have never gone home feeling disappointed. If you love cats or are looking to adopt one, this is hands down the place to go. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming! I can’t say enough good things about this place and will continue to be a frequent visitor for years to come, because, cats!!

I adore this place. You get to come chill with a bunch of cats. What could be better? And they take very good care of the cats. The cats are all from local shelters, so if you fall in love with one (or three), you get to take them home! Yay!

2018: Such a fun place!! I love how different it is from every other place in Denver. It's coffee and some entertainment (cats). It's also very calm and relaxing during the middle of the day when it's not busy. Everyone's gotta try this place at least once.

Update 2024: came back here and have kids now. One of which has severe autism. My 10 year old was very respectful and kind with the kitties - we came here to celebrate her 10th bday actually. My 4 year old is the one with autism and often makes repetitive noises that some find distracting. We were quickly told the rules about kids being respectful and quiet and I did feel like we got a lot of looks because our 4 year old was making a lot of noise while playing with cat toys. We did not get kicked out but definitely don't know that we felt super welcomed either.

It's $12/per person if you reserve a slot ahead of time or $13 if you pay when you get there. Pretty expensive especially too because they ask groups with kids to keep it to an hour minimum so I felt like we paid a lot for just one hour there.

Overall our time was fine but I don't think we will be coming back anytime soon or with our autistic child unfortunately.

This place is just amazing. The cats are awesome and well loved by the staff (and guests ofc). I love that there’s lots of places for cats to hide if they don’t want to be social. The set up inside is amazing and has so many opportunities to sit back and just let some cats come to you! Very cute and cozy space with kind people all around :)

I will say, I am not disabled but this would not be a very handicap accessible place, especially if you are in a wheelchair. There is a small first level and then 1-2 steps up with no ramp to the second seating area. But who knows maybe if you have a unique circumstance you should ask them!

Such a cute and relaxed vibe. Wonderful little cat cafe, but a little lacking in the “cafe” side. That’s totally fine, because I was occupied with the cats the entire time.

The person working their was friendly and let us know a little about each car we interacted with. It was really great to know their temperament and get the inside scoop to their hearts. Seems like a really well run facility that truly cares about the animals they house. Would definitely recommend coming here if you are searching for a kitty. A great spot to just vibe with cats.

If you love cats, you can't go wrong with this place. It's a great excuse to be in a spot with multiple very friendly, very cute cats. My partner and I enjoyed getting the chance to play with our feline friends while enjoying each other's company. The woman working there was also very friendly and helpful. Would love to come back!

A wonderful place to meet the cats you are going to give a forever home to! Or you can just go to visit and play with the kitties! The cats are energetic and playful, and love their wand toys. Most are very young right now (it's that season) and they love to run around. After play time, they enjoy lying in the sun and getting some gentle petting. The staff is wonderful and helpful, and you can tell they really love their cats. There are a small selection of drinks to enjoy, but I like to focus on the cats. If you're looking to adopt, please check out the cats here! But if you just want to relax with some fun felines, this is the place to be!

The lucky crazy cat lady (me) searched "cats café near me" on Google map while visiting Denver and this place came up! All the kitty meow meow we saw here are happy and loving their afternoon nappy nap. The place is very clean and well-maintained. Their hot chocolate is yummy.

This is such a cute shop with a great cause. They have cats that are up for adoption so if you fall in love with one, you may be able to take them home. It can get pretty busy on the weekends but nice to come and relax. Not a huge selection of drinks but I suppose it's less a coffee shop and more a relax with cats shops. Be sure to follow their instructions with the cats! I saw a lot of people pet and wake sleeping cats up which is a big no-no. Great experience! There is an entrance fee alone with a fee for any drink you may want to order! Money goes back into taking care of these kitties.

I went with a friend and we spent an hour just petting some cats and looking at them. When we went on the weekend it was super busy but even so we still got to pet the cats. They have cat toys all around and by the end of it it was hard to not want to adopt some of the cuties. I was a bit disappointed they didn’t have any pastries/food options but they have a lot of drink options. I recommend going here and I would love to visit more. I recommend to anyone planning on going to make a reservation in advance. That will get you a guaranteed spot otherwise the place can fill up pretty fast! It’s a very cute and cozy place with free wifi and lots of tables to sit

It was amazing! I went a while ago because I love cats and haven't been to a cat cafe before. It was a bit more than I expected but in a good way! I thought it would just be cats... But there were tons of cats a little drink menu tons of adorable beds and toys games a little book area AND plenty of tables and chairs! The cats were very sweet and I loom forward to coming back!

Great place! Love this idea that helps sweet cats get adopted. We come here with our kids, and these cats love them. Wish there were more places like this for adoption animals. Love love love.

Always delightful to stop in. For newbies there is an entrance fee but you can also purchase a year pass if you think you'll go frequently. Google seems to think this is a restaurant but there is no food.

One of the best rescue organizations in the Denver area! They’re so successful at adopting out cats they even act as their own rescue to get cats from overcrowded shelters out of state. They do a wonderful job at providing the medical care the cats need by placing them into fosters to quarantine them from the other cats and helping to end the stigma by showing that cats with FIV make wonderful safe companions. I would pay 10x the entry fee just to spend time with these angels! One of the best places just to sit and read or enjoy a coffee.

I went there yesterday for the first time and had a blast! All the cats are so sweet and adorable, it is definitely a good place to go if you love cats and need some cheering up. I also love that you have to have an appointment now! I will definitely be going back
