I have taken my 5 year old daughter here twice. Her first experience was at Golden kids dental and orthodontics, and it was extremely unpleasant. I would’ve expected a child’s dentist to do so much more to try and fostered and encourage a child to enjoy the dentist and not become afraid. So I made an appointment at West Metro pediatrics, and was thoroughly pleased! Today we met with Dr. Q and his dental hygienist, Heather. They were both incredible. So welcoming and encouraging and engaging with my daughter. Just what I would’ve expected from a dentist. Highly recommend that this place.

We’ve had two routine visits here and have been very happy each time. The technicians are efficient and kid-friendly, and our dentist Dr. Katie has the best manner with our daughter. She is not intimidating at all but is encouraging about how to take better care of our teeth. She and the staff really know how to talk to kids and make them feel included and important.

We’ve been seeing Dr. Katie for years (followed her from a prior practice!) and she creates an amazing experience for kids. She believes in building trust with kids for positive dental experiences (unlike some industry folks that want to jump to anesthesia!), she’s an expert in her dentistry practice and principles, and she’s factual but not an alarmist. Everyone we met at the office is so kind, and they don’t panic if a kiddo is scared to start and has a few tears. My daughter gets a lot of buildup on her teeth due to anatomy, so our cleanings are a little more frequent than other kids, and Dr. Katie has a great sense of a child’s overall tolerance during the appointment and adjusts accordingly. I would recommend her and this practice to anyone whose kiddo needs a little extra support to feel comfortable, and to anyone who wants to have a great dental experience!

We truly love this dentist! My kids are always excited to go and they are SO good with them! We see Dr.Q and Dr. Bryan but have heard just as great things about all of the Dr’s there. The dental assistants are amazing as well! 100% recommend

Amazing experience! We went here for a second opinion after having a less than stellar experience at a different dentist. First, they send you all the paperwork you need before hand so you’re not wrestling a baby and trying to fill out forms in it the office. Second, the waiting room is filled with kid friendly activities from books, to over-sized Lincoln logs. There was even sidewalk chalk and bean bag toss outside. Finally, Dr. L. Young was kind, thorough and took her time to listen, ask questions and explain all of her conclusions to us. It was just so nice to have a dentist that seemed genuinely devoted to the well-being of her patients. Our baby cried, but that didn’t stop Dr. Young from cleaning her teeth and giving her a good exam. We wish we’d found this place sooner and gone here for our baby’s first visit, but better late than never. We trust both Dr. Young’s intentions and diagnosis. I highly recommend this dentistry.

We had an insurance provider change and the ladies at the front desk did a great job of helping us sort that out. My son's appointment started right on time and was very efficient with xrays and cleaning. And Dr. Savage is just so kind and thorough. Great at explaining what needs to be done next and most importantly made my son comfortable while telling him he needs wisdom teeth removed. Such good work.

Dr. Katie placed two fillings on my 5 year old son today and it went so well! I work in dentistry myself yet I was nervous how he would do. I’m so grateful that he had an amazing experience and was comfortable during the whole appointment. Thank you!

(Long but WORTH IT!) After moving to a new state, my 2 year old daughter needed a new dentist. I was adamant about wanting someone, that as my daughter got older, she would have someone who she could say looked like her. After my google search, I came across Dr. Young (aka Dr. L). Our first appointment was my daughter’s second dentist visit and it COMPLETELY blew all expectations and was ABSOLUTELY amazing! The staff was friendly and welcoming. But the cherry on top was seeing how comfortable and relaxed my daughter was the whole time. Explaining the different equipment that was going to be used and a teddy bear for her to hold. She cried and was miserable at her first dentist appointment (in another state, another dentist), but this was a 180. I’m so thankful we found this office, and as long as we’re in the area, this will be my daughter’s dentist!! Thank you for making this the best experience! 1000 stars for this! If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist, THIS IS THE PLACE!!

Quite honestly the BEST care I’ve ever seen in a dental or medical office. Every single person on staff is kind, knowledgeable and caring. We have a (almost) 3 year old and 10 year old that go to this practice… Further, we’ve had nightmare experiences elsewhere and a little trauma attached because of it — the staff at West Metro were extra thoughtful and handled our case with extreme care. Can’t go wrong with your littles here.

Today was my childs first dental experience. I personally couldn't have asked for better service or first time for my son. Our dental assistant was kind and patience. And our Dentist Dr. Quintanilla was so friendly, informative and I appreciated how him and his staff treated us. Thank you!

My son is on the spectrum and isn’t easy to work with. We have been going to this group for years and years. All the Doctors are great with my boy. They meet him where he is and adjust to his sensory issue changes. He finally did a appointment in the main room (the quiet rooms are awesome) and was allowed to pick his own toy because he did so good and was cavity free.. WOOHOO!! It has been a amazing team effort to get him this far. Thank you!

Dr. Brian and Kionna his assistant are wonderful! My daughter had to get her teeth pulled and they were so comforting and calming. They explained everything they were doing. She’s normally very anxious with medical procedures but left with a smile on her face. Thank you!!!

I enjoy going to West Metro pediatric dentistry for my 2 year old. They are able to find me an emergency appointment the same day. My daughter does not like to open her mouth up but the doctor was kind and able to find a way to see everything. She likes the different toys there. Also, I like the patient appreciation events they have like ice cream trucks!

We’ve come here for a few years and have always had a great experience. My kids get anxiety before going to the dentist but always walk out saying “that was fun!” They are great with kids, explain everything they are doing thoroughly, and are never pushy. Highly recommend!

We usually go to the centennial office for our well visits but we had a dental emergency and this was the only office open today. Their staff was amazing, they got us in ASAP. The were able to pull all of our records from the other office. They got us back quickly and were able to resolve the issue quickly and painlessly for my daughter. She is two and is so comfortable here, the waiting room is filled with games and toys that make her comfortable right away. They then let her pick a movie in the dental chair. The dentist and dental assistants all talk to her, not just me so she knows what’s going on and feels included. The front desk staff is so nice and makes it so easy to fill everything out. I cannot recommend this office enough. The well visits are amazing enough but the care they gave my daughter and I today as we were panicked was above and beyond.

This is a very kid friendly environment. Our dentist Dr. Katie and our hygienist Amy were amazing with my kid during their appointment. So kind and patient. They were so nervous for the dentist today and by the end they were so happy to go and have so much choice and say. A wonderful , amazing experience for young children!

Amazing experience. My 6 year old daughter had dental work here with anesthetic and she popped out of the chair at the end happy as a clam. The staff is incredibly professional, kind and VERY much tailored to the pediatric population/ families. Clean, inviting, organized office. Will highly recommend.

I love this practice for my kids! They are all so kind and gentle with my anxious daughter. Definitely recommend!

We chose this practice to get a second opinion for my son and I’m so glad we did. They created 4 different treatment plans in detail and communicated through the entire process and a parent had to be in the room during treatment, unlike our old dentist which put me more at ease. Dr. Brian and his staff are so caring and wonderful.
