Best Haircuts in town. Best barbers in town. The AVBS has been serving the Applewood area for nearly 70 years now! Since 1954, this barber shop has been in the business and show that they plan to be up and running for many years to come. Having just moved out here 2 years ago, I was in need of a shop like this that treats you kindly and who have a great staff that's dedicated to their clientele. Having been to some of the others around in the area, AVBS tops all of them. My haircuts here are always coming out clean. I've had multiple of the girls here cut my hair, and it's always come out the same. Great consistency. I would highly recommend coming here. It's only $25 for a regular haircut and I promise you won't be disappointed!! Thanks guys!!

Rhiannon is absolutely amazing, she was very patient, sweet, and very thorough with asking what style we wanted. She is amazing with children and highly recommend her to ANYONE!! Thanks again for an amazing job!

It is appointment only, Loni is the one that did my son's hair. He went in looking horrible, but I am very pleased with his cut. The important thing is that he likes it as well. Thank you so much Loni you are great.

I rarely review places, but I’ve always had a good experience so I came here to give a 5 star review. It turns out I already did that 2 years ago and forgot about it, so take that for whatever it’s worth. These folks are consistently great!

Great shop with the best barber!! I’ve been taking my two boys to see Valerie for 8 years. She knows exactly what my kids want and consistently delivers. She stays up to date with the latest trends and styles and offers great styling advice. I will never take my boys anywhere else; Val is the best barber in Denver!!!

Not only repeatedly cutting me up with laughter, Haley consistently cuts my hair FAR better than the myriad stylists I’ve tried. She’s been my go-to for about a year and will remain that way until some disaster tries to part us. Seriously, there’s no better value than employing Haley’s services. Upon your first visit, her patience & attention to your scalp’s unique needs are second to none. Truly a gem of a human.

Great shop! Carly has been my go-to gal for a while now. She’s consistent & the shop is always clean. Its great to have a beer at the end of the day, too!

Haley Bridge is the best barber in Denver hands down, been to many places across the country, not only does she make you feel welcome she gives you the best hair to match your face. If you know what you want, or want a change up she’s your go to barber.

Carly was the bomb! It was super easy to schedule online and I was able to find a quick same day appointment. I was in and out within 30 minutes with a haircut and shave. The shop was clean and had a great atmosphere. Carly was quick, polite, and fun to talk to. Thanks, again!

Went back here today for my third cut and have yet to be disappointed. Making an appointment on their site is super easy, the shop is clean and professional, and the service is great. Loni has cut my hair every time and does a great job. The value is outstanding and you can grab a soda, water, juice from their cooler after your visit. I struggled to find a decent shop in the area that is professional, consistent, and fair for over a year until I found this place and I will continue to be a happily returning customer.

Nice folks, good quality haircut at a good price, and drinks while you wait. Appointments highly encouraged, and even though they were very busy the day I went, they seemed to be keeping up with their appointment schedule within a few minutes.
