I couldn’t say better things about Francis Veterinary Hospital! Dr.Kellermeyer was absolutely awesome! She was patient, loving, fun, overall just made it a good experience for my dog! My dog doesn’t like to be restrained and she took the time to make him more at ease, plus do a thorough exam. My dog and I will definitely be back!

The best veterinary experience we have ever had! Our cat is normally very aggressive at the vet but their relaxed environment and caring nature calmed him on his very first visit.

For the entire 4 1/2 years we had our rescue dog, we got excellent care at Francis Veterinary Hospital. Everyone there is so professional and caring. This was especially in evidence when we sadly had to have our dog put down. Their skill and compassion put them right at the top of practices I have dealt with.

We've been taking our dog, Ollie, to Francis Veterinary Hospital since we moved to Golden last year and it's been great! Ollie recently suffered from a broken nail which had us very concerned but Dr. Kellermeyer provided excellent service and make sure he was well taken care of. We appreciate the friendly staff and attentive care!

I started going to Dr. Burger when I adopted my pup because the adoption agency worked in tandem with her, and Dr. Burger did the spaying for free. Figured I might as well continue going there despite the half hour drive from Cheesman Park. She has always given the best care, and her staff is extremely responsive.

This past year, that same pup had a battle with seizures. It was a tough process, and Dr. Burger was extremely knowledgeable and empathetic throughout it all. It eventually got to the point where we had to have the quality of life discussion. I loved my pup more than anything, and at the end of the day we simply can't win some battles. Dr. Burger took the time to talk me through that process and to not blame myself. She called me back every time. I knew it was a weight on her, because she would wait to call me after hours while she was driving home.

After the seizures got overwhelming and too close together, the time came. Dr. Burger sat in the room with us, walked us through the process, and talked with me. She watched a grown man cry, and provided comfort. Words of wisdom and hope.

That type of care is priceless. I won't ever use a different vet once the time is right for me to adopt again.

Great staff. Very friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate as needed. I have an 11-year-old dog that is a bone cancer survivor. Since his surgery 3 years ago his separation anxiety is through the roof! And because of the chemo, drawing blood on him takes forever. So they had my appointment outside in the backyard. That way, he didn't have to be separated from me and they scheduled extra time for the appointment since they know it takes longer to draw blood for the labs necessary for his appointment. Highly recommend Francis veterinary hospital.

Dr. Burger and her staff are amazing! Every time Bella comes to see them, they just love on her. I trust Dr. Burger —- she is knowledgeable and explains everything in detail. Coming from a medical background, I know what she recommends is necessary and for the good of our Bella. We love her!

They took my kitty in and treated her very kindly. It was a great experience. They also explained what we needed to do to make her feel comfortable

Just moved to the area and I had to establish a new vet for my dog. The staff was very helpful and patient with all of the questions I had, never rushing me. Dr. Burger was amazing with my dog who has high anxiety. She sat on the floor in the exam room almost the entire time to help Ella feel more comfortable. Did the exam on the floor as well! I highly recommend Francis Veterinary Hospital. I'm really happy to have found a vet that I trust with my dog.

Marbles was a little nervous, but Dr Kellermeyer put him right at ease. So gentle.

After spending 5 sleepless ,very stressful, grief stricken days and nights with another vet, I was nudged by the universe to pull I to Dr. Bergers facility. She took her time talking with me,examined my girl....and in 5 hours my baby felt 95 per cent better. Dr Berger and Rachel were my earth angels sent by GOD!

Just arrived from overseas and needed to establish a veterinarian for our world traveling puppy. The staff was very nice and quite thorough with going through her records (in German) and learning everything they can about her and any issues she has had in the past. So far a great start for a new patient!

I've been a patron for 3 years now. I'm currently moving to Durango and my Destiny needed to be spayed. She currently had stopped bleeding a few days prior to her surgery and I didn't think everything would go well. To my pleasure, they approved her for her surgery and took the greatest of care for her. I am forever grateful for their services and the lovely staff that they have.

The staff is so wonderful here! My boy Thor is excited every time we pull into the parking lot. They’ve taken great care of him and are so nice to work with. I highly recommend the puppy care here.

Just settled in Golden and needed to establish a doctor for our 2 furbabie's and was very happy with Dr. Kellermeier who was substitute vet. she was very detailed and took the time to really get to know the babies. The office staff was outstanding!

Perfect vet for your animals. My old dog hated vets. It took Dr. Berger 5 years, but finally my dog would take a treat from her. It is an illustration of how Dr. Berger works to know your animals, meet them where they are at, and builds trust. Dr. Berger builds a trusting relationship with the owners. She is an excellent diagnostician and communicator. The owners are as important as the animals. The front desk staff are friendly and professional.
