Amazing place!!! So perfect to adventure in Golden, walkable to everything and facing gorgeous Clear Creek. It’s fully updated with clever functionality and loads of style. My family members stayed here while visiting us and can’t wait to come back. Thank you Laura!

The Golden Guest House was the perfect stay for a wedding weekend! It’s easy to walk to the main strip in town and it just couldn’t be cuter. The owner is amazing and so accommodating. She went above and beyond to make our experience so enjoyable! I ended up ordering something to the house and it arrived after we left, and she helped me get the package sent back. Cannot brag on this place, owner and amazing customer service enough!!! You should definitely stay here if you’re ever in Golden 💛

Just stayed at the Golden Guest house for four days. Will always stay here again when visiting Golden. Such a beautiful house, professionally designed with modern appeal. The backyard outdoor space is especially noteworthy and we enjoyed it for hours.

Loved being a block away from downtown. Left my car parked at the home the entire stay, walking to and from local restaurants, and especially enjoyed Colorado 49, two doors down. Enjoyed walking to Clear Creek through the historic park across the street. Would be fun to bring inflatables in warmer weather.

The host, Laura, was very accommodating. She seemed genuinely interested in everyone having a good time. Highly recommend the Golden Guest House.

We stayed at the Golden Guest House for a girls getaway honoring the bride who will be getting married this spring. The space was perfect for 11 people . We had plenty of room to socialize and the sleeping spaces were very comfortable. The host offered great suggestions of events going on in Golden and she was very gracious and accommodating.we spent time in the beautiful backyard and roasted marshmallows around the fire pit. The house itself was very charming and clean. The location can’t be beat!!! We want to come back soon!!

Cannot say enough about this place and the host, Laura. The golden guest house had everything we needed and more to accommodate our group. Laura was the best host I have ever worked with and went above and beyond to make us feel at home and ensure our stay went smoothly. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for the long weekend (towels, linens etc.). Although Laura was always quick to respond to one of my messages or texts asking for something, she also did a fantastic job of respecting our privacy during our stay. She left detailed info on the town of Golden as well so I didn't even need to pull up Yelp to figure out where to take our group. Thank you Laura for making our trip to Golden one we will always remember fondly!

We booked this house for the weekend to celebrate a Bachelorette party, and the house couldn't have been more perfect for the occasion! This is one of those houses you wish you never had to leave since it was so fun and unique! It is well maintained and has such a fun and funky vibe to it. It was clean upon our arrival and we had everything we needed for the weekend, including plenty of fridge space, as well as spices, pots/pans etc. The host even left us some breakfast treats for the morning! It slept 11 of us with no issues. The host had plenty of towels, bedding, and other items (i.e. shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc). The host was extremely attentive and responded to any messages we sent her with questions. Honestly, none of us wanted to leave at the end of the weekend, and wished we could live here permanently. This is a place I would ABSOLUTELY stay in again, especially during the summer when they have tubes you can use to gloat the river in. It was also such a great location, since it is literally off Golden main street. This made it so convenient for us check out some bars one night, and also find fun spots for coffee and breakfast. I really do not have enough great things to say about this house. If you're looking for a fun weekend away, this is the place to stay, hands down!!!

This place hits the trifecta.... fantastic location, a helpful host and great juju. The house is exactly as described, with very comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, a nice outdoor dining area, and a cozy, relaxing indoors. A one minute walk to Golden's main drag, five minutes to Mines, close to many of Golden's best hiking trails. Could not have had a better stay. A+++!

Stayed there for 3 nights for my bachelor party. Location is amazing, house itself is exactly as advertised and it easily slept 10 people. We all had a great time. Would recommend and rent this space again.

The location is awesome. The views from the house are amazing. We loved the Gourmet Kitchen and really cool shower. If your heading to Golden or going skiing this is the place to stay at.

Location. Location. Location. This place is located right in downtown Golden. Walking distance to restaurants, parks, School of Mines, and museums.

Minus one star for layout of the units. This used to be a single unit of two stories. The stairs are sealed to make a two story two unit place. The bottom level has a nice master suite, but no real kitchen. The upper unit has a very nice kitchen, but the sleeping arraignments are small. The shared jack and jill bathroom is very weird. You have to walk through the shower to get to the toilet (you read that correctly).

Plus one star for available food in the refrigerator and pantry on the upper level. Both are stocked with plenty of ingredients.

Minus one star for rules and checkout. Owner lives in the unit and stays onsite during your stay. Owner stays in the tiny home/shed if both units are occupied. Owner is very nice and tries to stay unnoticed. Guests are asked to strip beds and clean up upon leaving. Not cool.

No overnight street parking, but there is enough room for three spaces of the alley. GPS will take you to street parking.
