This place is great! Has lots of open area! Enough people around for the right amount of dog socializing ! Lots of fun bridges, and walkways through the trees, leading to some wonderful waterside trails . Only 1 thing, if you plan to offleash, it is not fully fenced. But for the trained doggo 🐶 😏 no problem. Happy walking!

Just a while back, my boyfriend and I headed over to Bear Creek Lake for a fishing trip. Let me tell you, it was a sight to behold! The place is absolutely gorgeous, and it's teeming with wildlife. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a snapping turtle during our adventure! The whole experience was simply amazing.

What a great experience! We took the trails, and there were a lot of them, to go in all different directions. All depend on what you want to experience, whether it be open, wooded, or even by the creek. I saw nature's creatures in their natural habitat. Like beavers, and ducks in the water, and prairie dogs in the open fields. The park was very busy, and there's loads of cyclists. But they will warn you on the side that they're on, but just stay to the right 👉

If you love the out doors with easy access and foot trails this is the place. Nice fishable ponds with handy cap areas and piers. There are some big fish in the ponds! Some ponds are a little walk in but accessable by foot on dirt road and some by paved trail. Lots of wildlife and a huge prairie dog farm. Hawks, coyotes and large fish eating birds. Wood ducks and smaller water foul abundand. Some great photo ops there!

Such a wonderful park. You can stroll right along the banks of the creek or ride your bike along the on the path. We had such a good time watching prairie dogs and birds what a wonderful place.

Loved it! My son took me out for breakfast at the New York Bagel Cafe across the street and as we were leaving we spotted the trail. We were going somewhere else to walk in the woods but I'm so glad we tried this out. You get to a point where you do not see or hear traffic. Highly recommend.

Really nice public park with tons of nice paved trails. Lots of nice views all over, pretty little wooded areas with streams and lots of ducks and other wildlife. Lots of signs of beaver activity, but no beavers spotted on our trek. Highly recommended for a nice walk or ride if you prefer flatter, paved trails. Use caution if walking, many bicyclists blew by without announcing their presence and the unpredictable 4 year old that was with us wasn't always fast enough to get out of the way. Could use another set of toilets somewhere, but otherwise highly recommended.

Great place to get a walk, run or bike ride. Both paved and dirt trails along Bear Creek. The bathrooms were closed but there is a porta-potty. Pet friendly and flat terrain. Beautiful views inside the city.

Wonderful piece of green in the middle of the city, love exploring the different paths and feeling like I can get lost in it! In a good way! I also enjoy hearing the animal sounds coming from here in the middle of the night :-)

Absolutely love this greenbelt. If you enjoy nature and wildlife in city with a off beat in the woods feeling then this is your place. Several trails that lead you all over the place. Along the creek and through the woods. I don't recommend being here after dark though that would be a bit scary if you know what I mean. During the day. Simply beautiful and peaceful. Very friendly people also. And some off the trees here are so old they are HUGE!!!!

I love taking walks through here. Several different types of paths. For more physical activity, to paved paths. People can bike, walk, rollerblade, walk their dog, or apparently ride a horse. A peaceful place to walk.

I have been walking this trail since 2012. It's so beautiful, no matter what time of the year it is. I definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't!

This is one of my favorite parks to walk my dogs on leash, there are waste bag stations and many trash cans that are within reach here. A lot of ground to cover.
All of the trails in any direction give a different view, a different scent for the dogs to follow, a different level of exercise. I've also seen ducks, owls, hawks, fish, turtles, you name it!
I always recommend this park for meeting friends with their dogs, or suggesting to people that may be bored of the same walk around the same lake on the same path, like some of the parks closer to home.
A few areas deeper into the woods are my favorite trails for shade and little hills for exercise, but I won't go into some alone if I see people camped out, which doesn't happen all too often.
Watch out for some of the prairie dog burrows closer to the West part of the trail, but otherwise clean and well kept park!
