Found this gem on our way to ski. Super cool ambiance, excellent service and good food. Got the Aussie plate. Pretty tasty lacked a touch of seasoning, and hash browns on both dishes could have been cooked more, lacked crispness. The golden plate special two eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns.

Stopped by after a morning hike for a cup of coffee and breakfast sandwich. I’ve been wanting to try this cafe for awhile and today was a perfect day! The more was plenty of seating but we chose to sit outside since it was so beautiful out! The sweet treats in the case looked so inviting, fresh and delicious. However the menu enticed our appetites a little more. The Sunrise breakfast sandwich was exactly what I needed! The server was welcoming, quick and efficient. Can’t wait to come back again to try some other goodies!

Best Cafe in Golden CO!! Their food, coffee, pastries, and staff are amazing - so friendly every time. I usually get the golden plate for some simple deliciousness, but everything is so good it’s kind of ridiculous. Must try their kouign-amann’s + their honey lavender oat milk latte is 10/10. Great stop when in town or on your way to lookout mountain! Love this place!

Had an awesome breakfast experience at Cafe 13 during our Colorado trip! The cappuccino was fantastic, and the avocado toast was really good. The ambiance and mountain view were amazing, making it a perfect start to our day. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely scrumptious Tex Mex Scramble, Vegan Breakfast Burrito, and Raspberry White Chocolate Scone! The spiced apple cider was alright, but could use more flavor. All of the staff were lovely and they even sometimes went around with samples of their coffee and bakery goods. After trying their blueberry muffin sample, definitely know which pastry I'm getting next time!

Yum yum! Cute little gem and the food is full of flavor. We had both of the scrambles and I loved them equally. The pumpkin sangria is definitely a season winner.

Since I live so close to the town of Golden and love to get the day rolling with strong coffee, I decided to treat myself to a cup of java at Cafe 13. For those who don't know, Golden is located on the very westside of the Denver metroplex and boasts a unique slice of historic Colorado. Although the area is growing rapidly, it still maintains its original laid-back back vibe that many are drawn to.

Cafe 13 upholds that unique vibe by offering coffee at all taste levels, pastries of all varieties, and hearty breakfast plates. If you go in on a Sunday, you will want to get there fairly early ahead of the 10am crowd because around that hour it gets pretty full, so you will most definitely have to stand in line to acquire your fare.

On this occasion, I selected the Ham & Guyere Cheese Croissant paired with a Signature Cafe 13 coffee, which was recommended by the staff for boldness as well as a good kick of caffeine.

Seating is ample, with indoor and outdoor tables. Note to self: next go round, get there early, order a hearty breakfast, and take your time soaking in the morning. Trust me, this establishment won't disappoint!

Lovely little coffee, breakfast, and lunch spot in Golden! Stop by on your way to the mountains or stay for a little bit and enjoy downtown Golden! There's usually a line of locals and visitors, for a good reason. The coffee, lattes, pastries, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, breakfast burritos, etc. are all good! Service is friendly and orders are ready quickly. I haven't tried lunch here yet, but the menu looks good and they're pretty much always busy, which is a good sign!

This cafe was recommended to me by a local, and I am very happy to have visited. I tried the Fully Loaded Avocado Toast and it was amazing! My husband had the Breakfast Burrito with chorizo and green chili, and loved it. (He said adding the green chili really sealed the deal.) I love seeing historic buildings being repurposed, and I think this place did a fine job of doing so. The cafe was casual and inviting on the inside, and seems like the perfect spot to have quiet time by yourself, or catch up with a few friends over a delicious meal.

The cutest coffee shop in Golden!! We love the food and drinks, especially the breakfast burrito and their pastries. I love the space and all the rooms you can lounge or work in. Cafe 13 such a gem.

My gf and I frequent 13 because we love the selection of tasty food items and pastries. They are always quick with the food no matter how busy it is and they have a cute little outdoor seating are too. I like their unique room designs as well. I have not been disappointed with any food item from here yet and I have tried a fair amount of items. We will continue to be customers for sure.

Go-to spot in Golden! Fresh food, craft cocktails, local pastries and coffee, educated baristas, attentive staff, great atmosphere - I have no complaints!
The fully loaded avocado toast, paired with a classic latte (sometimes a garden mimosa) is the hilight of my day every time I visit. The wait times are minimal to order food, and with the food made-to-order, it gets to you so quickly!
The staff are so kind, always ready to help. I come here as often as I can and bring friends any time I want some brunch!

We love Cafe 13 and visit a few times a year. It's our favorite spot in Golden. Usually I get the aussie scramble and it is consistently good. The cafe has a very Colorado style charm.

Wonderful lovely place. The vanilla latte was delicious, the vegetarian breakfast burrito was flavorful. The staff was pleasant. Perfect place to go after a long hike in the mountains. First time here and will def come back. The pistachio loaf was sooooo good! Fluffy, moist, and not overly sweet.

Super cute place with great food! When you walk in go up to the counter and order your food, then they will give you a number. Finding a seat can be a little tricky inside but they also have outdoor seating. Portions are on the smaller side but OMG are they delicious! We'll be back to try the Chi tea and a pastry!

Great coffee and delicious pastries! Just variety of pastries could be a bit wider. Customer service was also kind. Cafe is located in Golden Downtown. We will come back again and can highly recommend also for others!

Our favorite coffee shop in Golden! We love sitting on the front and side patio on a sunny day with a cup of Joe and a fresh pastry. Great stop also on a bike ride! Heck- they even have booze! Friendly service and cozy ambiance.
