GoldenView Veterinary Hospital

With holiday approaching, & kitty not eating, I found GoldenView...and so happy I did. Krystal got us in with an urgent appt. and was a totally caring voice on the phone. Shayna welcomed us, got a healthy treat into Kitty, and Dr. Locklear was professional, thorough, and patient with all my questions. Fees were wellexplained, and a call the next day to ck. on us was a bonus . Definitely my new Vet, and highly recommend this team for Golden, Lakewood, and surrounding areas. 5 Stars!!

This clinic offers superb quality experienced care. Our family has been going there for 15+ years for 2 generations! We drive 1.5 hours just to make sure our pets get the best care. The staff and Doctors go above amd beyond to make everyone feel very welcome. They are great at getting you an appointment when your loved pets get an unexpected injury or illness. Also, they are patient with pets with high anxiety, and were there for our families when it was time to help our adored pets move on when their time had come. I would always and forever recommend Goldenview! Thank you to everyone who helps this clinic make my excellence list!!

We have been using Goldenview for many years since they can board our parrot. We recently got a rescue puppy from Foothills Animal Shelter and the puppy needed a vet for her diarrhea issues along with get her vaccinations. They are always happy to see our pets come in to visit the bird and the dog enjoy this visit everytime.

Thank you for taking such good care of Princess! It can be scary to drop a family member off for any procedure. All of the staff made it easy to know that our dog was in good hands. The competence of care was evident and she has healed up nicely. Thank you GVVH!

Chose this as our primary vet because of the location but couldn't be happier! They are conscious of COVID but will let one person enter with the pet, which is helpful. Unlike the emergency care we went to that ordered an excessive battery of tests, this vet seemed to balance common sense with good medical advise. We enjoyed their personal touches with a welcome card and their accessibility over telephone for follow up questions. Thank you for helping keep our cat healthy and happy!

I always know when I take my precious little creatures here that they will be treated with the best of care. My little senior pets deserve and receive respect for their years and the staff and Dr's Locklear and Garner see they always get what they need. I am grateful for all they do.

Golden view has wonderful staff and doctors who are so compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Locklear is an excellent exotic animal vet who clearly loves all their clients and Dr. Garner is fantastic for all your feline needs. Front end staff and vet techs are all also wonderful people who seem to really enjoy working there.

I was so glad they were able to see us the same day I called. I have a cockatoo and birds can decline quickly, so it was a relief to be able to get a thorough exam right away. The staff were so kind and gentle with her.

The vet and technicians were very kind and compassionate to us during a very difficult time. They made our loss a little easier.

Dr. Kris and all at Goldenview have been a godsend to all my pets (3 dogs and a parrot) and me. Everyone is understanding of the situation I find myself in and help me figure out the best way to take care of my forever friends.

We came in from out of town and got an appointment for our seemingly healthy dog with a persistent cough. Dr. Garner ordered the appropriate imaging, diagnosed him accurately and sent us to the local emergency room, likely saving his life with a foxtail injury. We’re forever grateful to the whole Goldenview team for helping take care of our boy.

I have been to GoldenView twice for my cat and have had an outstanding experience. The administrative and nursing staff, along with Dr. Locklear, are phenomenal at their jobs and maintain a consistently caring, patient-focused, and attentive environment. I haven't felt rushed at all when I've been in here, every staff member actually listens to all that you have to say and genuinely care about you and your pet. Even my cat is noticably more relaxed here than he has been at other veterinarians! Grateful to GoldenView for helping me and my bud through a challenging time and would recommend them to anyone with a furry/feathery/scaly friend.

All of you are genuinely interested in providing the best care possible to Sadie. She's my everything and you all give me confidence that she's being given the best medical services available. It is appreciated more than words can convey.

Just moved to the area and needed to find a vet for my beloved bun! I was referred to Goldenview and I couldn’t be happier. The staff was lovely and our doctor was extremely knowledgeable and kind. ❤

We've had a great experience with them so far! We brought our pup in for a quick vaccine booster appointment, but had another issue pop up before the appointment so we figured we would mention what was going on and get another appointment on the books. Instead of scheduling us to come back, they squeezed us in between appointments and took care of us on the spot which included running a urinalysis and bloodwork! I was so taken by surprise that they helped us out same day even though we didn't have a full appointment with a doctor. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. Really fantastic service! Blueberry and I greatly appreciate it! We will absolutely be coming back and bringing our other dog in too!

I was very happy with meeting Dr. Locklear and watching how they interacted with my older cat. I am pleased to report that my picky older cat seemed to relax as Dr. Locklear allowed my cat to stay on the floor as they examined him (could NOT have been comfortable). I didn't think that my cat would adjust to anyone else since Dr. Kris was his vet choice. However, I believe that he has decided that he approves of Dr. Locklear as a replacement! Kudos to all at the clinic!

Wow! I’ve never been so impressed with a vet clinic. Got a (seemingly) emergency, last minute appointment with Doctor Kris for my tortoise. I was so nervous picking a vet last minute for such an exotic species, and she was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely professional. Not only did she know about red-footed tortoises, she owns one! Although my tort wasn’t actually sick like I thought, we discovered he was actually a she! Thankful for Goldenview and will gladly make the 30 minute drive for such a great clinic.

Added: We have now taken our rescue dog to Goldenview as well. She has a hard time with nail clipping. The staff did a great job bearing with her. They did what they could to make her as comfortable as they could through the experience, despite her being very scared. Dr.Matt was super gentle and comforting.

LOVE this place. The staff is super friendly!! We walked in with our puppy and were greeted with smiles, treats and words of affirmation. The facilities are clean and you can tell that they love and want to care for every animal that walks through their doors. Our vet was SO friendly and what we appreciated most was his patience. As new puppy parents, we had a lot of questions and he was thoughtful enough to take the time and answer every single one on top of his go-to puppy tips. He even showed us the proper way to clip her nails. We didn't feel rushed at all and our little girl couldn't stop wagging her tail with every person she interacted with! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Very happy with the care my pup has received over the last few years here. Dr. Kris clearly loves animals and has always been kind. Recently, we met Dr. Locklear who is new and preformed surgery expertly on our girl. Dr. Locklear is a great addition to an already great team.

Very impressed with Dr. Alhgrim!. Her knowledge and compassion for the animals was above and beyond. Our dog has high anxiety, this was the first vet visit in her 7 years she actually laid down and was calm. amazing! Excellent experience and very much recommend.
