Fuller Lake Day Use Area

I love the small beach here , the picnic areas are nice and clean , it’s very tranquil, good place to bring friends and family , or just come out and have yourself a good ole time.

We celebrated our great grandson, Oliver's, 1st birthday party. It was pretty there. Didn't get to swim, but maybe another time.

Always a fun time on the "beach" close to home.
Picnic areas are great and in various areas to pick from within the park. We love walking the trail and walking in the stream back in the woods so the dog can take a dip.

Great place for a day trip with the family. There are picnic areas & pavilions with grills. They are on a first come first serve basis. The one picnic area is right near the beach & playground. There are bathrooms right close to the beach & there is a family/unisex bathroom with a shower for rinsing off. They also have a snack bar that is open during the summer months. They have multiple bathroom areas throughout the park. Walking trails along with some historical sites to explore also. There are also areas where you can fish as well. Some are stocked with trout. It's just a very nice place to spend some time enjoying the outdoors. Plus it's all free!! It is such a beautiful place.

This is a nice, free beach. I have seen some comments saying it's gross and I fully disagree. I think they do an excellent job keeping this place clean. You are swimming in a lake, not a pool, so keep that in mind. The beach area is no smoking. There are restrooms and even a phone within a minute walk. There are a bunch of walking and biking paths near by as well. A snack bar is very close and a bunch of picnic areas near the beach are available. It's a great, free place to spend the day.

Clean place! Sand was white but only the kid went swimming cos the place is packed on weekends (we went on a Sunday). Be careful when you lounge in the shade of the trees cos there might be caterpillars falling

The water is always nice and cold here as it is a lake in an Old quarry. There's a great Sandy area for kids to play with plenty of shade options. It's nice that there's a guard on duty here in the summer. We love hiking and picking up here, it's great to visit the AT museum and old forges, too. Lots of parking, can fish here as well. There's also safe flat areas to ride bikes.

Super clean and family friendly. Bring sand toys and air-mattresses for the kids for a day of fun in the sun! **Easy access for disabled. Snack bar and restrooms with changing area. Grassy areas and plenty of shade if needed for picnicking and barbecuing. Enjoy the day here!

Great place to take a hike and get out into nature. It gets a little busy on weekends during the summer but let's just embrace everyone enjoying the outdoors. They have restroom facilities as well. Great little park.

Went for the fall walk. Lots of vendors! Support local for the holidays! Great bands and just an enjoyable time

I love the water is beautiful is clear and beautiful nice place to spend with the family. The only good thing and bad thing is that the phone signal goes away; which mean that you have more time to enjoy the place and less to use your phone.They sell food and ice.

I have been going here for over 30 yrs with my children and now with my grandchildren. We love this place, my favorite place to go picnicking and swimming.

beautiful lake, awesome picnic area. could use a few more grills. snack bar if you want burgers and fries but don't wanna cook it yourself. great spot for kids. clear water. don't go to Laurel Lake go to Fuller lake for sure!

Been going here to swim since I was a child.. Water is cold but great place for the hot summer days ☺

We had a wonderful time here. Lots of picnic areas, and a good amount of parking. The bathrooms are pretty nicely kept. It's free to go but there is still a lifeguard on duty until the evening. There are ropes to keep smaller swimmers in safer areas. There are also walking paths to enjoy if you have to get out of the water for a little bit. It kept thundering on and off while we were there. They have you get out for 30 min if the storm is close. We also played in the sand but we didn't build any big castles this time.

Cons: We had bug spray and the gnats were still annoying so dont forget bug spray or it could be even worse for you. I wouldn't sit too near the concession stand as there is an unpleasant plumbing smell coming off the bathroom area.

Had such a wonderful day! It's a great little hideaway for a day trip.

Great place to take the family for swimming. Very kid friendly. Will definitely go again.

The Pumpkin parade, then the "Harry Hand" story told as the pumpkins get pushed out onto the lake is an all around great family experience!
