Thai Gold Restaurant

On our outing to Golden we tried Thai Gold for lunch.

The green curry was wonderful with just the right amount of zing. I was worried as the server didn’t ask what level of spice we wanted and I usually like it spicy so I was very pleased! We enjoyed the dumplings and spring rolls that accompanied the green curry.

Our 7 year old had no complaints about the pad Thai and neither did our toddler. We didn’t notice a kid’s menu so they got the main meal. And there were leftovers!

The venue is charming with plenty outside seating as well.

Stopped in here for my first time to grab a quick bite to eat & ended up being really pleased with my decision. The service was great & all the employees were really friendly. I was delighted with how many gluten free options were on the menu as well. The Huckleberry lemonade cocktail was nothing short of spectacular 🍋🍹

This is simply the best Thai food I've had in Colorado after trying many places for years. The flavors are captivating, the presentation of the food is enticing, the ambience is elegant and homey but also authentic, and the service is always superb. Did I mention the prices are very reasonable?

Great restaurant, how did we miss this for so long?! What a pleasant surprise and great experience. We stopped by for a Saturday dinner and they seated us right away and were right on spot with friendly service. We tried the steamed Goya for an appetizer, which was tasty. Also tried the Tom kah soup, which was pretty mild but FILLED with tons of chicken, which was good quality. For the mains we tried the pineapple curry, panang curry, crispy basil chicken, and pineapple fried rice. All were great! I’d highly recommend trying this little gem and we’ll be back soon!

Absolutely love their red and green curries (I get veggie version). And staff are always really friendly and helpful.

I live in Denver but whenever I am in golden I always make sure to come here, even if for take out. They are also just as good when reheated and usually buy extra to have another day as well. Been coming here for probably 15/20 years now...

I got the three flavor chicken and really liked the flavor but was disappointed in the complete lack of spiciness, but the duck wantons were great.
The service was very good and multiple staff went above and beyond to accommodate a dog tired from a hike.
The atmosphere was great as well.

We really enjoyed this Thai restaurant set in a house righ ton the edge of downtown. We had Duck Cheese Wonton, Duck Curry, Thai Gold Noodle, a cocktail and a juice/mocktail. I'm normally a Panang curry guy but haven't seen duck curry before and had to try it. I'd recommend every dish we tried.

Was going to go to the Sherpa House but they had some kind of function, so that’s when I found this place. I was seated on the patio which was perfect as weather was amazing, I started off with an appetizer Thai Curry Crisp, Savory spiced potato and yellow curry in a crispy pastry. Served with sweet and sour sauce. and had a Singha Beer from Thailand, for my entree I had the Spice Eggplant with tofu, if you like Thai food this place is great, the service was fast, prompt and friendly. Lots of great choices, I’m vegetarian and all the dishes can be made to suit vegans. Can’t wait to eat here again.

Thank you Thai Gold! Great service - very accommodating with my dietary restrictions, one of the managers discussed the history of the building with us, and overall kind people. The lunch special is such a great deal and very tasty! I got the Tom Yum soup and the Drunken Noodles (pictured).

My wife and I had the great time -- we got seated fast and received excellent service. The crab fried rice was amazing, as well as the crispy duck. It maybe difficult to find parking.

We love this place. It is nice and within walking distance so it is easy to just drop in for lunch or dinner. We have never had a dish we didn't love, and they will make any dish vegetarian if you request it.

We got to sit outside with our dog and they brought him a water bowl! The service was great! We shared the chicken satay and the chicken was super soft and the peanut sauce was amazing. We all enjoyed our food thoroughly and the blackberry lemonade was delicious!

Thai Gold’s beef drunken noodles dish has been the totally unfair standard on which I base my expectation of all drunken noodle dishes since 2016. In recent times I’ve had the fortune to return to golden, CO and although I was hardly there for 48 hours, I was sure to stop by. The quality hasn’t changed a bit.

Had the lunch special while passing through Golden CO on a road trip. This place was an absolute gem of a find! Service was fast and friendly. Drunken noodles were delicious. If you are in town, I highly recommend stopping in!

Small, just right, Mom and Pop Thai: tasty and spicy, vegetarian options. Fast service, seems authentic. Truly spicy, on a 1-10 scale, I ordered a 7 as places in America tend to bland down spiciness. I had the good kind of runny nose from the 7 level spice, almost too hot to enjoy, almost. Highly recommend!

We had the lunch specials of cashew chicken, drunken noodles, chicken gyoza, tom yum chicken soup, vegetable soup, and a vegetable spring roll. We also ordered mojitos and every single thing we ordered was on point!

Beautiful old house. The curries are absolutely delicious. Not a big fan of their pad thai but the Panang Curry is so delicious that they still get 5 stars for food. Thai fried rice is also amazing.
Lunch special is super affordable.
