Billings Park

It’s a mostly easy 30-35 minutes winding walk to the top. The last 5 minutes are a little tougher because it’s so rocky, but it’s not too difficult at all. The view from the peak is stunning! A panoramic view of Woodstock and the rolling hills and farmland surrounding the town. During peak foliage season in early fall, it’s a sea of reds, oranges, and gold for as far as the eye can see! If you have an hour or so to spare, it’s well worth it.

Great view of Woodstock from the top. Three miles up three miles down with elevation change ~500 ft. Plan time according to your ability. We are in our 60's and took us 4 hours. The last mile is easy compared to the first two miles to the pond but the view is worth it. Note: We almost didn't see the best view at the top. The first bench at the top has a view but continue around the loop to see the entire Woodstock village.

I love the difference I notice between spring and winter. It's a nice walk to the peak. Very peaceful and the sounds of the brook can be heard throughout the park.

Great walk up to the top. Plenty of trails. Peaceful surroundings. Be sure to check out the visitors center.

The park is very well taken care of...the trails monitored for corrosion and detours provided when necessary. I love walking my dog there as everyone we meet are animal lovers.
