A quiet, clean and beautiful park and trail system. The park's grounds are professionally maintained with all electric equipment by Rooted Gardens for the community's quiet enjoyment of the outdoors.

Such a lovely trail. Great easy path and the summit has a lovely view. Definitely worth the hike. It took is about 40 min because we kept stopping to take pictures of the stunning natural surroundings.

We really love this place to hike with the dogs or just by yourself the trails go up the mountain through the woods so even when it's sunny out there is shade it is always beautiful up top the view is 360 degrees. So it's hard not to appreciate the views

The perfect place to take my 8 week old son for his first hike. The trails were extremely well taken care of. Very safe and could be enjoyed by people of all ages. Plus several benches so you can stop to rest. The view at the top is worth every step along the way. You can see the perfect Vermont landscape from up there. Take a deep breath and enjoy!

A relative lives in the area. Houses are beautifully restored in the vicinity. She resides in what once was a carriage house across the road. The house has been moved to the other side of the road and beautifully restored.

The most well maintained, and cared for bugging trail Ive ever experienced. The back and forth switch back up the mountain is quite fun to do. And then on the way we went down got pretty exciting with foot wide cliff edges (with railings) one of the prettiest and easy hikes in Vermont

Great small park right in Woodstock. Plus a very cool trail up to the top of My Tom. Also, very nicely kept.

A great place to take your dog for a walk! Doggie clean up bags provided if you don't have your own, please help keep the park clean for all to enjoy! Great trails here, and access to Mount Tom.

Had a great winter hike up Faulkner Trail to the overlook; 2.5 miles round trip. Very pleasant hike with LOTS of switch backs. No spikes or snowshoes needed. If you continue on to Mt Tom south peak, spikes will help.

Great trail. Context: three year old in the backpack, 5 year old on foot and a wife who refuses to wear hiking boots on the basis they are not fashionable. We made it up in 45 mins quite easily. Gravel for the first section, the onto bare path, rocky towards the top but otherwise pretty straightforward. Nice view at the top.

If you're visiting Woodstock you must hike the Faulkner Trail that starts in Faulkner Park. It goes up the side of Mt. Tom with very easy to traverse switchbacks. The view of the village from the top won't disappoint. You can easily make it up and down in 45 minutes. Or, you can keep going from the summit to the Pogue pond and then take the back way down to Billings Farm. From there its about a 15 minute walk back to the park. The whole hike takes about 90 minutes and you'll be heavily fueled by nature at its finest. Take a picnic lunch for the Pogue. Grab sandwiches and drinks at the Farmers Market. Be prepared to take your trash with you when you leave. No trash cans.

Sweet little park with one picnic table and several benches. The park has a very nice settled feeling. It is in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the Woodstock common. Located at the trailhead to Mt. Tom.

Beautiful stroll up the mountain. Benches to rest on the way up, but a steep climb up the last part of the trail. A very nice view of the valley!

Had takeout on a picnic table. Brought a tablecloth and wine. Picturesque surroundings, quiet park. Perfect. Also hike Mt Tom from here, it is a pleasant and fairly easy hike of well maintained switchbacks to the top.

We walked from the park up the Faulkner Trail to the summit of MT. Tom. This is a medium intensity hike with lots of switch backs and one short uphill from which you can hold onto railings.

One of my favorite peaceful hikes. Beautiful steep rock faces. Great views over the town of Woodstock and beyond.
