Incredible staff and location. Hosted my wedding here and couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible experience they put on. Everyone expressed what an incredible weekend it was. Should out to Lisa who goes above and beyond for all her guests.

great, pretty hot jacuzzi to soak in for apres ski after okemo. saunas as well but didnt get to try it. wife loved it

We had the most wonderful stay during our latest trip to the castle hill resort. Everything was to perfection and it made for a perfect weekend getaway.We stayed in one of the king suite rooms which had a beautiful walk in shower and the room had a cozy ambiance. Our favorite part of our stay was as always the heated outdoor pool, hot-tub and spa facilities.We got an 80 minute couples massage and it was the best money we ever spent. We came during late April which is a quieter season so is ideal if you want a couples getaway.
As always the food in the restaurant inn is wonderful, as is the ambiance with the open burning fire and piano forte music. Would recommend booking dinner as soon as you arrive as times can be limited due to high demand.
I personally would love to see use of the beautiful dining room for breakfast in the morning instead of what is currently on offer.
We will be back again in the future for sure!

Words cannot describe this magical place. The setting is exquisite. The castle is enchanting. From was huge and newly remodeled bathroom. Dinner was exceptional. Loved every minute of being there. If I have to complain about something, it would be the breakfast. For $10.00 I would go find an alternative in town.

Amazing experience. The atmosphere was so lovely, the food was outstanding and our whole experience with the waiter was so wonderful! He was gracious, made good recommendations, and was extremely attentive. We will go back SOON!!! I am thinking of possibly getting a room for a weekend as well.

Booked a two night stay for my wife and I as part of the “anniversary package” that they offer. I loved the old charm of the castle, the grounds were immaculate, the pool was heated and perfect. Included in the anniversary package was a couples massage, a bottle of champagne, and a 3 course meal. The food was very good, and you are allowed to choose from the full menu as part of the package which was nice. All in all, I highly recommend it for a nice relaxing getaway.

The accommodations here are awesome. The decor and architecture are of the period - the grounds are beautiful. The pool area is large with plenty of chairs and tables. In addition every staff member we encountered was very friendly and always helpful. I highly recommend a stay here.

Worth the stay! Heated pool and hot tub year round . Superior restaurant

A romantic stay at a beautiful boutique hotel building with history. The Room had a four post bed with very high, deep, and comfortable mattresses. Dinner is highly recommended. Portions are generous and the food is well conceived and executed. The Breakfast, though only a Continental design, is also recommended as the Scrambled Eggs are well prepared, individually and fresh. We did not take advantage of the Spa on-site, as we had other plans for the day, but perhaps next time.

Great service and staff! I was well treated and the food is incredible! Very scenic! I think I will relax here! Room is clean and no bedbugs! Iron and ironing board, small refrigerator, coffee maker, robes, laundry bags, fluffy towels and extra blankets available. Water bottles provided. Complimentary Wifi.
Outside has nice walkways with well maintained gardens. It is so nice to see green!
Great restaurant! Bring your appetite! I don't consume alcohol, but, they do have an open bar.
I also had a massage and it was wonderful! Ahhhhh! I was relaxed and I felt good! She did a great job!

Really special place, my wife and I enjoyed our 5th anniversary recently here. We were able to unplug, relax, spend time together step back in time, and uninterrupted romantic atmosphere. Beautiful gardens, salted pool I was amazed at the details of the build, the choice of building materials, the hand carved wood features, the fact of such things added in hills of Vermont in 1904, electricity, elevators, radiator heat, indoor plumbing. The staff was wonderful!
Let's not forget the 4 star restaurant, the food and service was amazing!

This is an absolutely stunning resort, and I cannot recommend it enough.

My wife and I booked our honeymoon at this place. We were drawn to it by it’s beautiful architecture, scenic location, and all inclusive offerings.

The resort offers different kinds of packages, tailored to fit your occasion, each offering different benefits at a reasonable price given it lush and luxurious offerings.

The restaurant on site is remarkable, it is more like a private dinner hall than restaurant. The intimate dinning room is gorgeous and offers a romantic and refined atmosphere. The staff are friendly, helpful, and eager to make your stay comfortable.

The actual house itself is like something from dowton Abby or Brigerton in its look. Beautiful wood paneled walls, lush carpets, and a stunning entrance way all highlight this is a true manor, not just a B&B.

The rooms are finished in much the same way as the rest of the house giving a continuity of look and feel. Rich wood further, lush curtains, and hardwood floor makes a beautiful location for any private retreat with your loved ones.

The spa was very nice, with Curtis us helpful staff. The massage on offer are phenomenal and really get you relaxed.The surrounding country is beautiful.

If your looking to plan a romantic vacation, honeymoon, anniversary, etc, this is the place to pick.

Also, it may date this review but they do take COVID precautions.

This place is beautiful! I have been in Summer and Winter- going back this week hopefully for a Spring visit! There is a really pretty waterfall close by to hike to which is fun! The rooms are so pretty and the library is amazing. The dining area in the castle is beautiful as well. So amazingly romantic and pretty for couples looking to go back in time together! The staff has always been super nice.

A castle-like experience which feels magical and cozy. This hotel has its own history, a wonderful library that adds value and is just a wonderful place to get lost in your philosophical thoughts or have a lovely conversation with someone sipping a glass of your favorite something....The heated pool and a hot tub completes it all with an A+ grade. Thank you to the restaurant's chef and staff for making it all even better. Too bad we found no ghosts lol.

The experience we had at the Castle was the most romantic, best meal and so very elegant. Amy our waitress was exceptional and we were so very happy with the service that everyone provided. The rooms were beautiful and clean and staff was friendly and just a joy.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Castle was historic and beautiful. We stayed in one of the upper rooms which were cheaper. I was a bit surprised that there were a bunch of little things that needed to be taken care of in the room, like an exposed pipe in the ceiling, peeling dry wall in the bathroom, etc.. not enough to knock a star off the rating though.

Elegance and great service the staff was so attentive and kind made it hard to leave that place. The room was beautifully decorated spacious and clean. I'll miss listening to the piano playing while enjoying my cup of coffee in the library room. Highly recommended! Hubby enjoyed his birthday weekend for sure. Mr. & Mrs. Gutierrez 5/15/15-5/17/15

Beautiful and relaxing. Beautiful pool, the spa was fantastic. We did a couples massage and it was extremely pleasant. The rooms are very nice with character you would expect from a "castle". I used a Groupon so I did not pay full price for the room.

Our room in the castle had a whole wall full of tall beautiful windows overlooking the mountain, a lovely tub shower, and four post bed. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were perfect with the early March snow still around. For breakfast we went down the hill, and it was o.k. Would stay again in the winter just for the pool!
