This place is a hidden gem. The staff is awesome! They helped us get settled into our spot (we have a big rig and tow). The beach was extremely clean and lagoon was warm and relaxing. The entire campground was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff did a courtesy call the day before to make sure we didn't have questions getting into the area due to flooding in the area. If we come to Vermont we'll definitely stay again.

Very spacious sites. No highway noise. Super quiet during quiet hours. Nice swimming area. Also horse shoes, mini golf, basketball, and shuffle board. Decent office hours, with the necessity's needed in the store

Absolutely beautiful campground owned by wonderful, pleasant, understanding, and accommodating people. Plenty of stuff to do here for the kids. If you’re a peace and nature lover, this is your place. We stayed here out of necessity during the winter months, trying to make and complete a cross country move. I really hope we get to go back and enjoy it during the summer as just a family looking for a great place to camp, hang out, and make memories.

We stayed in camp 83 for a month, we had great shade, privacy and walking distance from the playground and pond! The owner welcomed us on the first day, and throughout our stay had some great conversations…Very family oriented, plus it’s well maintained and clean. If we are ever back in this area, we would stay again! We enjoyed our stay! :) Thank you!!
There is a small drive from the 91 but it’s totally worth it! You also pay for electricity. Plus there is on-site laundromat, has 2 washers n 2 dryers, which are very convenient! Also has a boat ramp to Stoughton Pond, which we enjoyed taking out our paddle boards! There are also weekend events to get to know neighbors!

Overall, we would highly recommend this place!

This is such a wonderful campground. Bonnie, Sean, and Jason go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. When life threw me a curve ball while we were there, they were all very helpful and empathetic. We stayed there 3 months and have nothing but amazing things to say about it.
My children loved the playground, the mini golf, riding bikes, the boat ramp in the back. Everyone was always pleasant to talk to, and welcoming. When we first got there the site didn't have alot of gravel, Sean brought trailer load and leveled out thr site less than 24hrs later. Very on top of it!
We were sad to go but hopefully well be back.

This campground was fantastic! The lagoon was awesome to swim in, the owners were very accommodating, the campground was clean, and we enjoyed the activities. This was a nice gem of a campground. I recommend visiting covered bridges, cheese factories, and waterfall hikes if you want to leave the grounds!

This was my go to place...I'm going to stick with 5 stars because the people are great and the amenities are engaging. It's not my place this year because they charge far too much for extra tents... But I love them anyway.

One of the nicest parks we've been to. It's a very clean and beautiful park. Lots of trees and plenty of space between sites. There is a pond for swimming, a playground for the kids, and a huge fire pit for group bonfires. A nearby Army Corps of Engineers lake backs to the property with a road from the campground. We had our kayaks but with only two days here didn't have time to get them in the water. The only thing that may be an issue for some people, but definitely isn't for us, is the cemetery near the campground. Lovely campground we will have on our list to return to next time we're in the area.

This is a great campsite with good people most elderly. It is very quite in the month of September. But always good fun people lots of bomb fire get togethers, and meet a greets. Very clean and daily upkeep. Great staff, always busy but quick to help. Lots of space for all types of RVs. Very peaceful setting and good overall Energy!

Lagoon looks small but it is great for the kids and easy on the feet. The camp ground clean with lots of room between camps (tenting), bathroom are kept clean and the showers have enough room to dry/dress and the staff are friendly. The woman that owns the place presents as quite grumpy but Don is super friendly. We want to go again.

First camped here in 1994 when it was a hunters' paradise and VERY rustic. Sean and Bonnie have turned this into a quiet, well maintained campground in the past 8 years. 60% of sites are seasonal. Sites are wide with well placed w/e connections under tall pines, some are grassy, others carpeted with pine needles, several full hookups with cable. Huge fire rings, large picnic tables. Well placed clean bathrooms. Small pond with sandy beach, neat play area. Next to historic Plains Cemetery, overlooks Corps of Engineers area at Stough.ton Pond

We needed a spot near Ludlow, VT for a quick overnight, and were impressed with Crown Point Camping. All of the other campers were very respectful of the quiet hours, and we got a restful nights sleep. The showers were kept clean, and it was convenient to have coin-op laundry available as well. I would recommend anyone to camp there.

We have been going to Crown Point Camping 'Area for about 20 years. The prices are reasonable and the campsites are "woodsy" so you don't feel like you are in a trailer park. The rules are basic and fair for a campground.

If you haven't been here in the last couple of years you are missing out on all the great improvements. The bath houses have been spruced up by the new owners and they have even made a fenced in LAGOON! There are other improvements as well and more on the way.

The camping experience we have had since the improvements convinced us to get our first seasonal site. Can't wait for the 2016 season to start.

THE BEST PARK EXPERIENCE THIS FAR!!
Sean and Bonnie Crumb have created an oasis in the woods of Vermont! This campground is fashioned after a state park, and is a great family camping area. They are PET FRIENDLY!!
Each site is cradled in the arms of large trees that shade each site. Access to Stoughton Pond is a short downhill slope to the water. The Blue Lagoon grants swimming access for young and old alike. Two floating “islands” offer refuge and rest in the sun, or a bouncy place to leap into the water from. Floating for the kiddos are available in the store. In addition to small miniature golf course, horseshoes, small boat rentals, shuffleboard, and clear roads to walk and ride on, there are also potluck dinners, Tupperware and Pampered Chef parties, activities for the kids, tractor and fire truck rides, and weekend bonfires to offer many options for entertainment. WiFi is only at the office, but is available 24/7! Laundry room has two washers and two dryers.
It is a reasonable drive to Dartmouth-Hitchcock hospital, in Lebanon, NH. We commuted there for work, and we’re still within “call response time.”
This is truly the ONLY place you want to stay when in the area.

This is by far one of the best campgrounds I have ever been to. It has plenty to keep you entertained from the lagoon to the planned activities. Close enough to everything you need but far enough away to avoid real life :) was just up there today opening the camper, airing it out. It's a great family atmosphere!!

$51 nightly though we averaged $34 with Passport America discount. W/E30/S/C; The camground is heavily wooded. We had a level dirt site with nice distance between neighboring sites. Location is very convenient as it is just a short distance off I-91. We would definitely stay here again.

Extremely nice campground. Big sites and lots of amenities. Special events on the weekends too. Bonfires, potlucks, (had on-site Lobster and Clam bake Saturday... Yum yum), ice cream social... Even a new lagoon to swim in.
