Caton Place Campground

I emailed this Canton Place right before a busy 4th of July weekend! The lady who runs it got right back to me and said she had an available spot and I could book over the phone! She took all my info and was very pleasant! On arrival we checked in without issue again the lady was very pleasant the site was nice and private and we loved the fire pit! The only thing that bugged us a bit was the neighbors blaring their music til all hours even when they left their site! We were there for a short period so I didn’t want to complain! Campground had so many activities it was wonderful, and I interacted with the lady/owner multiple times and not once did she have an off day always smiling and personable and seeing how she could help make our stay better. I would book again in a heartbeat and just keep a lookout for the naughty neighbors if they moved in near us again to get ear plugs! Thank you for a wonderful family weekend!

This is my third year at Caton Place Campground for a minimum of 1 mo. each time. I am extremely impressed with how well this property is kept by the 2 owners, Tammy and Gerry. Not only do the owners perform all jobs here but they do them all extremely well - from check in to lawn and site maintenance, to assistance w guests w problems on their own RVs. On top of that, the guests here all seem to have the same respect for Tammy and Gerry because there is respect for the rules and the property we share, as well as a genuine sense of neighborliness toward one another.

We love Caton Place! The owners are amazing, kind, sweet, and incredibly helpful. Our 1st season, we knew nothing about camping, they were a great resource. 2023 will be our 3rd year as seasonal campers, and I can’t imagine being somewhere else, it’s our home away from home!

Level site with gravel, lots of trees for shade and privacy, friendly staff who escorted us to the site when we arrived, helpful neighbors when we were trying to get out, bathroom is beautiful wooden stalls looks brand new (no locks on doors - my only critique). So glad we found this little haven!

For newer campers, the road leading to the campground is very groovy. Don't arrive in the dark, it's not fun navigating while towing when you're less experienced like me 😬

Not only is this a beautiful campground, but the owners are AMAZING!! Tammy went above and beyond for our family!! She, basically, rearranged the whole campground, so we could stay at our site for a couple more weeks, as the person helping us move our RV wasn't available until then! Tammy will do anything for her camper's! She genuinely cares about your well being and safety!! Tammy and her husband are amazing people with hearts of gold! When you stay here, you feel like you're part of a big family!! Everyone is so, incredibly, friendly!! My family and I can't wait to stay here again!! We absolutely love this place and highly recommend!! We promise that you won't be disappointed!!

I love this campground!! Everyone is extremely friendly and so helpful, I’ve never felt so welcome as I did on my first day last year. The new friends I’ve made here will no doubt be life long friendships, owners included! They are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and they truly care about you and do all they can to help and make you feel welcome.

The campsites are large and wooded, everything is always clean, the lawn/field is always beautiful with a large play area for children and a big bonfire pit for Saturday nights. Love it here!!

Amazing place!! We went up for a weekend and decided to get a seasonal. We can’t wait for the campground to open back up. It’s quiet, plenty of privacy between sits, and plenty for the kids to do! Owners are continuously doing some work to make it even better. Best of all, the owners are really nice down to earth people

Been at the campground for a few years now. I have zero complaints. Winter never ends fast enough.. I miss my summer time family. The property is well maintained. The dumpster is never smelly or over filled. I have a dog so being pet friendly was a huge thing for us and the camp owner is very pet, kid and adult friendly. I don’t see my family and I going anywhere else.

If you want to go to a spotless, cared for, extremely friendly, quiet, plenty of activities, managed by a helpful caring family, Caton Place Campground is where you should go ! We can't wait to visit again!

This is my home away from home. I love the large sites, the bands, potlucks and just relaxing by the fire. Coffee, a good book and a campfire is all I need when camping. I'm also excited to try out the new pool this year!

Amazing campground! We have seasonal there, and love just spending weekend there or a whole week. Staff is very friendly and always helpful. Great place for families.

My family has been camping here for 4 years.. all the way up through my high school years and still there. There are activities for all ages. Events are family friendly. Bands, bomb fires and fire works. Love going to see my parents and hanging out with them there.

Been here for nine years! It is quiet and peaceful. Family oriented and dogs and cats friendly! Enjoy it here! They have a nice pool. Would highly recommend it for your family!

I camped here with a group of bike packers riding the VTXL route. This campground was the best camping experience of the whole trip. Well-maintained facilities, beautiful tent sites, and the owners were very friendly.

We were looking for a place to camp for labor day weekend everyone was full but caton place had one or to left we were so grateful we had a great time there the staff and campers were great people it is a very peaceful campground I will be going back again
