Jackson House Inn

My husband and I stayed for a four day weekend to celebrate his 50th birthday. We stayed in the Christine Jackson Suite. The suite included a gas fireplace, a large whirlpool tub and french doors that go out to the back of the property. This was the nicest suite we've ever stayed in. Everything was beautiful, warm, charming and immaculately clean. The rooms were cleaned daily. The interim innkeeper was very accommodating, kind and attentive. The common rooms are so welcoming! I've never felt a draw to sit and read in an inn like I did here. If you forced me to try and come up with anything negative I would say that the buffet style of breakfast was the best way to go. We had one fully plated breakfast while we were there (the other two were buffet style) and it was a little sweeter and much larger portions than I would have taken myself. But too much of a good thing is hardly a negative! I will 100% be coming back to this Inn. I hope that when they find the new permanent innkeeper they are as friendly and welcoming as this one was because she was on top of everything! Clearly a professional who knew exactly how to keep all the gears turning and patrons happy!

Had a great time at this gem of a place. Camille was a great host and made our stay very enjoyable. Only gave 4 stars for the room because ( had to stay indoors because spouse was ill ) the chairs and sofa were very uncomfortable and the TV was little too small for the size of the room. If we didn't have to spend all day indoors we wouldn't have noticed it

My wife and I had an amazing long anniversary trip staying at the Jackson House Inn. The Inn is beautiful and immaculate. The rooms are wonderful, the linens are wonderful and beds are comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect in the very charming town of Woodstock, and as a hub to visit the rest of the wonderful state of Vermont. We went for "leaf peeping" season and couldn't have been more impressed by the colors and views. The food was absolutely amazing! The Inn Keepers, Robin and Chef Jeff made the stay and experience incredibly memorable and wonderful. We enjoyed getting to know them. We also enjoyed getting to know Dee Dee and Pete! We could not have been more pleased with our stay and look forward to staying here again in the future!

My Wife and I stayed over this past weekend. We had a lovely time. The Jackson House Inn provided us with a fantastic breakfast that was always interesting and delicious. They tended to my wife's gluten and nut allergies perfectly. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Rooms were clean and appointed appropriately. Grounds were beautiful. Thumbs up from our point of view.

We loved our two night stay in the Jackson House Inn! Robin and Jeff were so friendly and really made us feel like family! The Inn was immaculate and every room was so inviting and relaxing to hang out in! (Loved all the treats in them too!) We can not brag enough about the delicious, gourmet breakfast that was served to us. 5 star for sure! Thank you so much for a wonderful winter getaway - we can’t wait to come back!

We just left the Jackson House after a 4 night stay and this was hands down the best bed and breakfast we have been to, the rooms are comfortable, warm, and clean. My husband and I enjoyed the three course breakfast each morning, the chef prepared beautiful and tasty plates that kept us fueled while out on the mountain. This Inn is well cared for, from the attention to detail from the tea room to the library, our stay was exceptional and we will be back next time we visit the local mountains!

We had an amazing stay at the Jackson House. The room was beautiful, the house and grounds were immaculate. The breakfast was delicious. Our hosts were wonderful, kind, and helpful. This place was the highlight of our stay in Woodstock. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience here.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Jackson House Inn and we loved every second of it. We like to stay at B&B's and this was among the best we have been to. What made it so special were the inn keepers. Yuri made sure we were supremely happy and had everything we needed to enjoy the experience. His attention to detail and kind heart were very endearing! He made us feel right at home. Loredana is a superb chef. We found her meals to be so creative and enjoyable. I don't think I have ever had scrambled eggs that were so good in my life! Our bedroom, Nicholas 1 was very cozy. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the beautiful grounds. We definitely plan on coming back someday soon. And that is mainly due to the wonderful inn keepers and the experience that they gave to us.

We stayed at the Jackson House Inn for three nights as a girls' Winter Getaway. The Innkeepers, Robin and Jeffrey, were extremely welcoming and cordial; as was Claudia. They always had time to interact with their guests and make them feel at home. The Inn itself is a lovely building with several rooms on the ground floor that are perfect for relaxing or reading. We truly felt at home there. We had adjoining rooms, Thornbirds and Wentworth (a room with twin beds). This arrangement was ideal for three women travelling together. The breakfasts are "Chef's Choice" and never failed to please us. Local products were used when available. Care was taken upon arrival to check for dietary restrictions, etc. If you are looking for a place to stay in Woodstock, look no further!

Great place to stay, just spent a weekend getaway with my wife and had a relaxing visit. Close to town and breakfast was fantastic. The owner/chief prepared a fabulous breakfast that couldn"t beat. Very clean and comfortable the grounds where perfect, I cant wait to go back. 👍👍👍👍👍

Absolutely loved our stay at the Jackson House Inn when visiting Woodstock. The place was immaculate, great comfy bed and nice water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was great too, and the inn keeper and her husband were very friendly and helpful.

This beautiful B&B is an absolute find in Woodstock. The rooms are lovely and Robin and Jeff couldn't be kinder or more professional. The breakfast is a complete luxury and deserves its own 5 star review. We shared a bottle of Rose and cheese in the gorgeous back garden and i thought I was in France. Jeff is just an inspired chef and Robin doesn't miss a trick. She knows exactly what she is doing and i just wish she ran inns all over the US! Don't miss it.

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Jackson House Inn for our anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Robin, Jeff and the rest of the staff were wonderful. The Inn itself is beautiful, and the breakfasts are a plus. Great location and overall wonderful stay.

I surprised my boyfriend with a weekend getaway in Vermont a few weekends ago. We both needed to get away and recharge, and the Jackson House Inn helped us do just that!

The Inn Keepers, Yuri and Loredana, were so welcoming and sweet! Per my instructions on my reservation we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a cheese board in our room upon our arrival. The wine and cheese that they selected were very good! We stayed in the Christine Jackson room and it was so lovely, The bed and bedding were so comfortable! This room is one of their suites so the updated bathroom included a separate tub (for 2!). I could go on about the attention to detail this Inn has, but as a woman who constantly forgets her makeup cloths I loved the fact that they had a DARK facecloth with “makeup” as a stitched detail provided next to the sink. This is such a small detail, but it shows that this Inn has literally thought of everything.

Last, but definitely not least, the breakfasts were so good! The two courses each morning were fresh and beautifully presented. So delicious! Of course, coffee and fresh OJ were included each morning as well :)

Thank you for such a lovely and relaxing experience! We both enjoyed our stay so much that we are already talking about coming back!

Beautiful old house on large manicured grounds. Excellent breakfast and good hospitality. The house has period furniture and many paintings. There’s also a small bar. We stayed in the top floor room “Francesca” which had a balcony overlooking the grounds.

We would highly recommend The Jackson House Inn! The grounds were pristine and beautifully landscaped with gardens, a stream and pond. The Inn itself was also pristine. They definitely spent the time and money to do things right within the Inn with high quality finishes and woodworking. The Inn Keepers went over the top accommodating and making sure we were comfortable and happy. Breakfast was 2 courses and delicious.

I cant say enough good things. Every detail was attended to, from the plush towels to the soft sheets. The floors were shiny, the banister glistened and the house smelled delish. Robin was very helpful with dinner and activity suggestions. The breakfast was decadent. such a treat. we lived our stay. Thank you!

The breakfast was a wonderful surprise--multiple course meal including delightful dishes, creative in concept and absolutely delicious. Lauren is a talented chef, and the breakfast each morning was a big part of the old world charm at Jackson House Inn.

The House itself is a real treat for those wanting to enjoy an old fashioned lodging experience in a small and historic Vermont village:

Located just outside the village proper in beautiful scenery, this inn offers an experience that's a little like stepping back in time while still enjoying every modern convenience. Our room featured a big, cushiony chair set before a warm fireplace--perfect for evening reading--and a view of the gorgeous lawns/garden behind the home, a four-poster king sized bed with a feather stuffed mattress topper that might have been the most comfy bed I've slept in. Spacious bathroom with separate shower and huge whirlpool bathtub.

Coffee was left outside our room each morning, and on the one morning when we overslept breakfast, Kayla and Lauren (the innkeepers) prepared the dishes, room service style, and left them at our door, as well--thoughtful!! We cannot overstate how wonderful Kayla and Lauren are as hosts.

We didn't feel like customers, but rather like welcomed guests in their home as they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We celebrated Christmas in Woodstock and we're very grateful to both of them for making our holiday as lovely and enjoyable as it could be. When we return to Woodstock there's no question of where we'll stay.

The Inn was lovely and the innkeepers were gracious and accommodating. Most wonderful were the breakfasts prepared by Chef Addy, which were creative, delicious and just an unbelievable treat. We would return just for her breakfasts!
