Neal's Restaurant

Food was delicious and fresh! Our server Tim was amazing. He was super nice and friendly and took great care of us. Live music, good food and rainy day makes for a GREAT DAY!

Neal's is great. Got takeout fish n chips portion was just right and breading was crispy. Good stuff and really great staff. Musician was singing he was good as well great voice.

American comfort food done right! This is one of the best places in the area- Mac and cheese, mamas crackers, the specials and the amazing (fresh made) desserts are to die for. Can’t remember the last time I did a 4 course meal in a ski town. Amazing food, drinks, staff, owners. Will be back!!

Went to see Jordan Oaks, and had a great time. Had one of the best burgers and fries in a long time. Definitely a place to revisit.

Great place! I had the Salmon, and my wife had the Fried Chicken. Both were excellent. Our waiter very friendly and I had a great conversation with the gentleman out front at the bar. If you are in the area you owe it to yourself to stop by. We'll have dinner there again next time we come to Vermont.

UPDATE 8/29: Really sad, but I tried to go to Neal's last night and was told it's closed for good. Sad that restaurants struggle to survive.

An excellent meal!! The Pad Thai was so delicious, as was the Salmon daily special. My friend has the haddock fried served with chips that was perfect. Crispy and not at all greasy! Service was attentive and great! Thank you Neal we'll be back.

Really truly impressed by Neal’s. The food, the service, everything.

We were in a relatively large group so I was able to try a ton of different things. The highlights were the Ribs and the Chicken wings. Fantastic! Couldn’t lift up a rib without the meat falling off the bone.

The service was also impeccable. Kudos to Neal who was there on top of everything and our server Tim who was on top of our drinks all night!

Neal, the owner, is fantastic. The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic! The fries are hand cut and just the right amount of seasoning. My mother had the brisket and that was amazing as well! If you come on a Friday or Saturday for smoked prime rib, we got a sample it it was delectable!

If you’re in the area I HIGHLY recommend Neal’s. The food is incredible and reasonably priced- honestly some of the best chicken wings and smoked ribs I’ve ever had. The staff couldn’t be nicer. AND, they even have occasional live music from super talented local and touring musicians. Their porch area is perfect to sit outside on a warm Vermont day, and is incredibly spacious- perfect for having socially distanced drinks and dinner. Will absolutely be going back to Neal’s next time I’m in Vermont and can’t wait til I do!

Neal's is an outstanding restaurant. The owner and his staff go above and beyond to keep everyone happy. All of the food is made with pride from their kitchen, and the prices are appropriate for the quality of food that they serve. I've tried the fish, mac and cheese, chicken sandwich, salmon, burger, fries, cauliflower, fried chicken and grits. I have enjoyed every meal! It has become one of my favorite spots in the area.

Best restaurant in Ludlow hands down. Food here is phenomenal — everyone in our group was raving about it for days. Service is on point, Neal and staff are super friendly, and the space is comfortable and spread out both inside and out. They even had very limited attendance very socially distant outdoor live music which was so fun and was handled so well — Neal could have easily let more people in, but they were more concerned about patrons’ and the band’s safety than making a profit. Huge kudos to Neal and his team!

Very friendly. Great food, good portions. I got the chicken pad thai, extra spice, it was amazing, better than some Thai restaurants in Portland, Maine. My girlfriend got the pulled pork mac and cheese and it was also amazing(I would have got regular Mac and cheese). Definitely worth visiting if you're stopping by Ludlow, Vermont!

Needed a quick meal for myself and the kiddos. Ordered take out and man it did not disappoint. First off great vibe, nice people. Food was great. Wings top notch. Pulled pork sandwich perfect. Tenders and fries for the kids were right on. I’d go back for a basket of the fries.

We stopped in to grab some snacks and drinks on the covered patio before finishing our day. The staff was super friendly and entertaining (Carol!) And we had a great chat with Neal (yes, that Neal) before we left. He offered some great options for how to spend the rest of our stay like a local!

This place is phenomenal. The food was excellent and the service was even better. We had the poutine, ribs and pulled pork and all meals were great. The band, Jake Kulak and the Down Low, was beyond talented. If you are looking for a casual dinner, this is definitely the place to go!

If you haven’t been here, go. Now. This is the restaurant that makes locals feel home and out-of-towners feel like locals. Neal and Liz are always welcoming and awesome hosts. Mike keeps the kitchen consistent and delicious, and the wait staff are professional and prompt. We love this place and recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic restaurant! Indoor and outdoor seating. Live music, bands and solo artists. We had stopped there a few times before COVID-19 and had cocktails and appetizers. This time we had dinner and it was amazing!!! My husband had the smoked prime rib and I had the Flintstone ribs. They were smoked then braised in pineapple, maple syrup and chipotle pepper. They were the best I have ever had! The service was spot on, they were informed about the menu, very attentive and efficient. The cocktails were great as well. We plan to go back often, to this treasure of a restaurant!!!

Great service! Got a table for 3 without reservations on MLK weekend if you come in for early dinner before 6pm. Great live music and amazing food! Would definitely come back!

Just had dinner at Neal’s and it was amazing. Awesome wings. Love Liz’s mac and cheese! Great family atmosphere. Neal and Liz personally attended to our table. Definitely eat here again.

We are a family of 7 people whom were driving up to Killington On a Monday night and most places were closed or were closing early We came upon Neil's close to closing, he was kind enough to keep open for us so we could feed 5 hangrey kids.
Never did he rush us and actually sat with us after dinner to chat about his family's Adventures coming to Vermont Which then made me understand why he was so good to us.
Food was excellent atmosphere was awesome (live music)
