I researched our area for a tasting menu, my favourite way to enjoy dinner out. The Lincoln Inn 7course tasting menu was outstanding. Each plate was beautifully crafted and creative. The food was delicious. Because we don’t drink alcohol we enjoyed the non-alcoholic drink pairings in lieu of the wine parings. I recently visited a Michelin star rated restaurant in San Francisco and the chef at the Lincoln in outdid that menu in spades. I can’t wait to return when we don’t have to drive home in a blizzard. 😋

We enjoyed the 7 course meal which was an outstanding culinary experience. The wine pairings along with the inventive, artfully presented delicious courses made the experience at the very top of what a food experience can be. We'll return.

Wow! Amazing restaurant! What a wonderful culinary adventure! The 7 course dinner was fabulous. The wine pairing makes it even better. The chef was so incredibly meticulous to the diverse flavors of each course. I've been to some of the best restaurants in the world, and this restaurant ranks one of the best. I would come back to Woodstock just to go to this restaurant. All foodies must try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Kudos to Mara and Chef Jevgenija Saromova.

My wife and I had the seven-course chef tasting dinner at the Lincoln Inn Restaurant in Woodstock during my first trip to Vermont. We have experienced chef tasting menus at many restaurants around the world, and this was one of the best. Chef Jevgenija Saromova is a culinary artist, and partner Mara Mehlman selected the perfect wine pairings for each dish. The courses were delicious and exquisitely prepared. I was not expecting this level of gourmet dining on the outskirts of a small Vermont town. Thank you Jevgenija and Mara for a wonderful dining experience.

My wife and I were charmed by our stay at the Lincoln Inn and by Mara and Chef Jevgenija. A truly talented crew that care about what they do. No question about it, when in Woodstock, you must have dinner here if you are able to get a reservation. Fine dining on a level with some of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in Manhattan and Boston at a ridiculously reasonable price. Don’t overthink it, get the dinner do the wine paring, stay for a night or two while in the area. Have the breakfast! It’s a fantastic and a charming experience.

This is a sophisicated Michelin ⭐ like gastronomic experience in a beautiful Vermont river setting, without pretension. A seven course meal with fish/vegetarian/wine pairing options, highly curated, presented communally with Joy by the founders. It is unique, it is exceptional and it is deeply experiential.

We went for dinner on Sep 13, 2021. On the menu was a variety of dishes arranged through seven courses, accompanied by seven also distinctly diverse wine pairings. My wife and I were both thoroughly impressed by everything, from the welcoming glass of rosé sparkling wine to our hosts. However, the highest note has to go to the food, in taste and tasteful presentation. It was absolutely fantastic. We loved every bite, every sip, every presentation. We have not seen better anywhere around the world, only equal, perhaps. Well done!

Accommodations were awesome!! The owners were super accommodating, friendly and fun. We were blessed to have booked the 7 course tasting dinner during our stay and were treated like royalty!! Every course was it's own adventure....in presentation on the plate by Chef Juvgenija and for our palette with the fresh top end ingredients but also with its service and description by Mara. You could see, feel, and hear the passion of both of the owners during our special dinner. Loved every minute of our experience here -we will definitely return and will bring everyone we can. A must see, stay and taste location. They are also right on a VAST snowmobile trail so we will be returning to stay for a warm, friendly inviting location this winter!!

We had the 7 course wine paired menu. The food was phenomenal and the wine was well matched. My favorite course was the lobster and caviar with a burnt onion ash. The chef is Russian and quite talented and came to the tables following the meal. The owner personally served all the tables and described the dishes and wine pairings. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. They even prepared my husband's dishes gluten free. I was also really impressed with the social distancing measures. There were only 5 couples in the restaurant all wearing masks while not eating. The tables were placed further than 6ft, and windows were open. True fine dining experience and a must do if you are in the area.

We went for dinner and found Mara and the Chef to be terrific hostesses.
The food presentation was gorgeous and the taste of all the dishes was out of this world.
The wine list was carefully culled and prices were very reasonable and paired well with the dishes.
We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting in the surrounding area of Vermont.
A true hidden gem.

This was absolutely one of the best meals we have ever had. The chef has an amazing way of condensing flavor into its most potent and delectable form. The owner was extremely nice and everyone took the time to talk to us and get to know us. If you are coming to Woodstock or the surrounding towns, you MUST experience this once in a lifetime meal!

We recently had our wedding reception at the Lincoln Inn and everything went wonderfully. We came in and we're greeted by nice staff that took all of the food allergies in the group of 16 very seriously, which is great. The food was some of the best I've had in years (I had the rack of lamb on risotto and my wife had monkfish). The room was very nice although we only stayed the night and the breakfast was almost as good as the dinner. Overall, we had a great time with great staff and great food.

I happened on this place during a work trip and needed a fun weekend break. My friend and I booked two separate rooms at the Inn and we were immediately glad we did! Mara the owner was an excellent host, so kind and thoughtful, very accommodating to our late arrival and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of right away.
The breakafast was SO GOOD, we even brought home some of the homemade jam the Chef makes, it's phenomenal. The location is very pretty. My room was the beautiful yellow room, very tastefully decorated and the bathroom had plenty of space with a shower and toiletries. We even had our own keurig machine with cocoa, tea and coffee with complimentary waters.
The sitting room downstairs and the dining area are beautiful and the bar is fully stocked with great furniture made with re-purposed materials. Very nice!
It's close to town and close to Quechee ski resort which is where we spent our weekend.
WE LOVED IT SO MUCH THAT I RETURNED WITH MY HUSBAND THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND, SAME ROOM, SAME EXCELLENT CARE. We had a great conversation with Mara on the history of the building, the work they've completed and plan to do and enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar to wind down the day. So very happy to have been able to return to this little gem and visit with Mara again! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

We went to Lincoln Inn for Christmas Night Dinner. The meal was a 7 course meal (menu below) with the wine paring for each course (that was extra). There were only 8 of us for the dinner, but it that, in my opinion was a part of the experience. We got an explanation for each course, where the food from was, the reason the chef made that particular course, etc. It was quite the evening. If ever back in Woodstock, I would definitely go back for another meal! Great job Ladies!

Note: we did not stay at the Inn, just had a meal there.

One of the best restaurants in the United States. The food is amazing- unique, tasty and presented artistically, prepared by a Chef who loves what she is doing. The service seems effortless and friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. Not to be missed!

What an amazing place to eat and stay. After one of the best meals of my life, with fantastic wine pairings, I just had to go upstairs - no need for a designated driver.

As a bed and breakfast, the Lincoln Inn was a total success. This was a mother daughters weekend, and we needed a room for 3. However, after we decided to eat a tasting menu at Lincoln Inn, after reading stellar reviews, I took the chance and called the proprieters to see if they had an accommodation for 3, which they did. It was a charming cozy room with a double and a single bed, all with comfortable mattresses. The closet was small but it existed and was sufficient for a weekend's clothes. Bottled water was provided daily and there were chocolate cookies (homemade) to greet us. Again the bathroom was cozy but lots of hot water,

Each morning was a full breakfast cooked perfectly by their reknowned chef Jevgenija Saramova. For more info google Lincoln Inn Forbes Larry Olmstead - far more eloquent than I, and spot on in his review. The eggs were perfect no matter how we asked for them to be prepared, poached, fried and scrambled. We could specify exactly which fruit in the fruit bowl and vegetables in the scramble. The menu was simple, locally sourced and perfectly prepared.

The seven course tasting menu was anything but simple, sourced worldwide (wagyu beef flown in from Japan etc) although I'm sure much of it was from local farms, beautifully presented, and paired with the unusual wines that complemented each course perfectly. The first course was Langoustine with Caviar, followed by Hamachi Crudo, then a perfect Seared Scallop with Saffron Emulsion and Yuzo Air. I can't really describe how beautiful each course was, accompanied by sauces and garnishes that balanced each dish. After serving Morels with Pistachio and Pineapple, we were served Pigeon Breast and then Wagyu Beef with Escargots. Dessert was a perfect Chocolate Bavarois accompanied by Strawberry Sherbet.

I will definitely be going back.
