We stopped in here yesterday for a late lunch after skiing and had a fantastic experience. Even though it was late in the day, there were still quite a few baked goods to choose from. We got the chili, garden rueben, a cinnamon raisin bagel, a spinach and ricotta turnover, a twisted cinnamon stick, and a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread. Everything was delicious! The woman working behind the counter was friendly and fast. We want to try everything on the menu now, we will be back!

Great atmosphere in a small Vermont town. The food is delicious from lunch to breakfast and of course all of there baked goods. The staff are always friendly and provide great service.

Loved the chocolate French toast. Great laid back atmosphere and service. Omelet was perfectly cooked hot and tasty. Check out the trestle just a block away then ride the Green Mountain train later.

Very cute place with great service and my omelette was great! Wish well we knew about this place sooner as the breakfast at the Castle Hill where we stayed was underwhelming.

We first came here in December of 2019, had the most delicious breakfast sandwiches that we’ve probably EVER had. Almost two years later, we searched the area high and low for this little gem from memory and found it. It’s still just as delicious as we remember. Fresh bread, local ingredients, and absolutely adorable. We will come back every time we’re in the state.

My husband and I were staying in the area and came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was the end of September so not really "in season" for mountain towns like this so it was very quiet. We each got an omelet and coffee. The omelets were very delicious with the perfect amount of cheese added in. The sausage in the omelet had a fantastic flavor. This came with bread which is made in house and was also very good. They have fresh jams for the bread and I particularly liked the raspberry jam!
We ended up enjoying our breakfast so much that we returned the following day for a repeat! My husband insisted that we go back as he felt he would regret it if we went elsewhere!
This place is very affordable and the space is very cozy. The staff were very friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be going back!

I love their pastries, both sweet and savory, but that's just the tip of the ice burg. Their bread is great. The space is comfortable and welcoming. And every week we buy one of their bags of pizza crust dough and make ourselves the best baked at home pizza ever. Highly recommended.

We had some delicious, simple wraps made with fresh ingredients. We also bought some cute palmiers (heart-shaped pastry) cookies, which were irresistible. The place was quaint and the people friendly and warm. The best part was that they had a wide variety of vegetarian options. I would definitely go back again.

Touring Vermont, we came across this place for lunch. The sandwiches were fantastic and the service felt like I was with family. The bread is fresh and exceptional.

We also bought bread to take home to Virginia.

My boyfriend and I stayed at castle hill and wanted to find a local restaurant for breakfast. It was a great spot! It was really welcoming and I have the chance to speak to the bakery owner! They open for more than 18 years and all the breads are homemade and ton of locals stop by for the delicious homemade breads! :) Highly recommended!

We visited a couple of the local breakfast eateries while on vacation in the area and this was by far our favorite. The menu was diverse and the staff was friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious and served quickly even though they were quite full. I look forward to eating here again the next time we are in town.

Seriously low key atmosphere with good food. Lots of fresh bread as well as baked goods with local flare. A recommended breakfast visit during a stay near Okemo Mt Resort.

What a gem this is! Delicious food, treated like family service, and quaint, quirky atmosphere. Best breakfast and lunch we found near Ludlow. Great freshly baked bread and pastries as well. Everything clearly made with skill, caring and pride.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Don’t be in a rush … get there early or call in breakfast in advance if you intend to get to the mountain early. They seem to be laid back and like it that way.

This bakery had been around for more than a decade. My family has stopped here for bread, sandwiches and drinks for many years. The service is great, the decor is very Vermont, and it is the highlight of town, in this out-of-towner's opinion.

My favorite little cafe/bakery in Vermont. Very delicious, friendly and peaceful, in a beautiful setting. Would have loved to live nearby so I could eat breakfast there every day.

If your travels ever bring you to Proctorsville this is a fantastic place to grab a little lunch and a hot drink. The bakery also has fantastic breads. This is definitely a small mom-pop place but that's why you come to Vermont right!
