Amazing atmosphere and people! Giant pavilion that they most always have a band or DJ under on the weekends all summer long. Cornhole tournaments, bingo, and lots of activities for kids.

We have been camping here at RBCA for a very long time and have enjoyed our time here. The Owners and staff have always been pleasant, very helpful. If you need something they are right there to help. Unfortunately, this past weekend there where some college students that came in to stay in tents for an event they were attending over the weekend, simple process-make a reservation and pay your fee. Well there were 21 reservations made and well over 200 people that just kept coming in, did not pay, did not follow the rules, speed limit is 5mph, they did not slow down when asked to. Long story short… most of the tenters in this group were very disrespectful to the owners, staff and other paying campers. They even placed very rude stickers on someone’s brand new truck! When asked not to return the next day, they packed their tents and left, yelling vulgar names at the owners and staff and driving at an excessive speed- speed limit is 5 mph for a reason. I feel bad for the ones that followed the simple process and made a reservation, they did not get to enjoy the campground because of the many others that didn’t. Thank you Ross and Buffy, we had a great season and can’t wait to come back next year! Oh, these are some of the pictures, mostly the ones that didn’t make a reservation, wanted to start a bonfire without even asking, how rude!

Great place for an extended camping trip near family. The store and small restaurant at the bottom mad a great impression and was very convenient. There was Cornhole on Friday’s and live music every Saturday which we enjoyed. They even had fireworks and music for the Fourth of July.

I don't personally stay here but I do have loved ones who do and it's very nice and relaxing I love that they take the speed limit there very strict because there are kids and people around it is very beautiful and they have a new salted pool which is pretty awesome

This place was so awesome to us! We had a month gap between moving our of our apartment and moving into our house. They were so accommodating, even making space for us when they were otherwise fully booked. We enjoyed the activities they had and appreciated that the store below the campground sold helpful items and at extremely reasonable rates, I’d even call it “cheap” considering most convenience stores charge quite a bit for items that are needed on a “convenience” basis!

We are a fulltime family of 4 and my spouse is a medical traveler. Running Bear has been so amazing with us over the past 7months that we’ve been here while she’s been on assignment at Dartmouth Medical Canter. The campground is situated in a very good location, close to the interstate and has two towns very close by that have everything you would need. Lebanon is a bit larger town and is only 25-30 mins north. We’ve enjoyed the people here the most. Everyone has been so warm and helpful. The campground itself has a new pool and there have been many renovations made during our time here. During the summer there are events every Saturday like bingo, kids activities and live music. They are always respectful of the quiet hours and we never had issues with roudy neighbors. The only con I can say is that the bathhouses are outdated but they are fully functional as we had to use them extensively when our water heater went out on us. So we’re glad they were there. We would stay here again in a heart beat if we come back to this area. They made us feel like family.

Been camping here at Running Bear for the last 8 years and it has been by far the best campground that we have stayed at in the surrounding area. The owners are awesome and are continuously trying to improve the campground.

I noticed that recently some young college kids thought that is was appropriate to try and smear this great place by putting up some very misleading information. Let me first tell you that these young people that were here this past weekend for a bike race in a nearby town were able to be here out of the kindness of the owners to try and accommodate them in an overflow field (not even sites). This was very generous being that this was the campground's Halloween weekend with lots of young children around. Some these individuals were driving at a dangerous speed around the campground and were putting our children at risk. When spoken to about this, it was normally met with disrespect and rudeness. Any poor reviews, especially ones with a one star, I would suggest be taken with this in mind, they are not true reviews, but are only intended to be purely vindictive and are a result of their own poor behavior.

I can not say enough good things about this campground and its owners.

We have been camping at Running Bear since our girls were very little. Although we could go anyplace else we always find ourselves at Running Bear! It’s the place the kids feel at home...my husband has many friends and the staff and owners make you feel like part of the family. Over the years the next generation of our married children now bring their kids! If you are looking for “that” place to camp. This is “that” place !

Been coming to Running Bear for the last....10 years I think? Every year it gets better, the staff is so kind and want to help you as much as they can. I have met countless friends here, had a number of birthday parties and celebrations, the list goes on! There is a reason people continue to come back!!

Great family atmosphere, reasonable rates, amenities are clean and well taken care of. During summer they have bands, events. It’s like a giant family not just a place to camp.

Absolutely awful when a group of entitled, disrespectful bicycle enthusiasts trying to run down a well established family campground. They leave bad reviews as a punishment because they were asked to leave after they reeked havoc on a family filled campground on a holiday weekend. Painfully obvious why they weren’t welcome anywhere else.
From entering without paying, speeding through campsites in the middle of the night, starting fires in the field, and vandalizing other people’s property, they give others their age a bad name!
The owners were right on top of their antics, and made it clear that this is not the campground for them. They will need to take their privileged disrespectful group somewhere else next year.
Sad when college students need a chaperone because they don’t know how to act in public.

Running Bear campground has been the place my family goes to get away for 3 generations.
My mother's favorite part is everything they do for children. On weekends they have games, a very large play area for any age. As well as a swimming pool. Bathrooms need work!
