The Pointe at Castle Hill

Staff were super friendly, breakfast was great. The jacuzzi was on point after a day on the slopes. Was super cool to have a shuttle over to Okemo so didn’t have to fight with trying to find parking. Dropped off right out front and the bus was there when we were ready to head back to the hotel.

We stayed here for a two day mid-week ski adventure at Okemo. Friendly and helpful staff and a room with lots of space. The small refrigerator was a big plus. Easy drive through Ludlow to Okemo.

No complaints. Small exercise/fitness room, pool and hot tub were decent. Room was clean.

For the hotel, not the resort. I don't understand the low ratings unless there has been a recent renovation. Our group had a king suite, a king single and a queen double. All of the rooms were updated, nicely furnished and super clean!
The suite with full kitchen was spacious and comfortable. Everything you need to prepare simple meals is provided. Big table for eating and board games. Comfy chair and couch. TV and gas fireplace. Extra blankets and new pull out sofa.
Lots of convenient parking, and a wonderful, friendly, helpful staff.
Highly recommend.

Comfortable beds, great location. The carpet is dated but clean. I had to cut my trip short due to a big snowstorm and I didn't want to drive back home in the middle of it. We didn't get to use the pool or hot tub. We will definitely return for a long weekend stay.

The weekend buffet breakfast was absolutely crucial to a good ski weekend, we didn't find out about it until we checked in. We got a king suite, and it was very roomy! Loved the fireplace, wish we had brought groceries for the full kitchen, but nearby food options were also phenomenal.

We went after ski season so got a good deal on our room. Full kitchen, separate bedroom, living room and a dining table for 4. Room was clean , staff were helpful. Still due to lingering covid issues they were not cleaning the room everyday but we only stayed a few days so that was not an issue to us. They mentioned the did a remodel and it looks like it. Would recommend this place. My only complaint is i also think the beds needed to be replaced as it was a little uncomfortable.

The suite was spacious, clean, and had everything you needed for the most part. They even provided sponges and dish soap! The bathroom was well stocked. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and nicely heated. Plenty of parking. The lack of a continental / hot breakfast was a bit of a letdown but that's why we got the suite to grab stuff at Shaw's.

Stayed here two nights for my partner's mother's birthday. The room was plenty large enough, clean, and had a neat forest view. The staff was very friendly. The pool and hot tub were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice, but I felt they should offer more free options. They introduce you to the sections and tell you "everything past the yogurt you have to pay for". So basically, you get cereal, some pastries, and yogurt. The view of the mountains in front of the hotel is phenomenal. There is a beautiful creek that was running right next to the hotel while we were there, but it had just rained. I'd stay here again, most definitely!

Just spent a few nights here with my family. We had a very good time. We stayed in a suite, the washer/dryer came in very handy. Room was beautiful and spacious, thought we would use the kitchen but ended up not. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. My sons loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Hotel was fairly empty as it was not a peak time to stay. Only negative was that many stores/restaurants in the area are closed. All in all, we had a good time and would definitely come back during summer/fall.

The staff was polite and welcoming. The suite was amazingly clean and well equipped. With a kitchen, dining area, sitting/living area, master bedroom, bathroom and even small laundry room, we could have stayed for longer than the 3 days we booked!

Although we didn't take advantage of the spa or restaurants this trip, I have confidence that they would be at the same level of excellence we experienced in the test of the hotel.

Definitely will come back!

We stay at the pointe often in the king suites for snowboarding at Okemo. Hotel is located just under 10 minutes from Okemo / center of town. Good food options near by but not all are open mid week. Suites are large and have a full kitchen, dining area, living room, washer / dryer. Hot tub and pool are good and usually not busy. Dining at the castle is great but does require a short 1 minute drive if you’re staying at the pointe.

The nicest place I've ever stayed. The room was big, very clean, beautiful furniture and 2 queen size beds. The food was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef!!
If ever in the area, you need to stay there.

This place is great. (A microwave would be nice in the room, but it didn't put a damper on my three night stay). Our room was clean and comfortable. All staff (Front desk and Housekeeping) were very accommodating and very friendly. Will stay again and would highly recommend to anyone.

We recently stayed at The Pointe for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We were extremely pleased with our room, the staff, and general atmosphere of the hotel! Everyone was friendly, the room was spotless, and comfortable. We ate our fancy dinner at Castle Hill, and that was amazing! Such a wonderful place. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to travel to that part of New England!

We stayed in a suite which was lovely. The space was large and well appointed. Having a jetted tub was a nice treat. Dinner was fantastic. The dining room was absolutely beautiful and Heather our server was professional and yet friendly. Looking forward to the next opportunity to stay.

We have stayed here a number of times. It is the perfect location. The rooms/suites are nice and the staff is friendly. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. It's only like 10 mins to Okemo, so it's a prime location

Great place to stay. We were at the suite for 2 nights. The pics in the website need to be updated because it doesn't do them justice. The room was big, kitchen we had a washer and dryer with detergent and sheets. It was quiet. The only issue which would be a safety concern for me was that the back door was always hinged it didnt lock immediately.

By any measure the best restaurant, service, accommodations. Well worth the price. The rooms are not to be believed. In cold weather your fireplace will be started by staff. I always visit at least once when in the area. Since 1997 it's been my favorite place in the Okemo area. New owners have only made it better. Which was hard to do.
Btw, avoid .multiple speed traps in Chester. When headed north on 91 stay on till exit 8.
