Sheboygan Breakwater Lighthouse

I absolutely love lighthouses! I didn't walk out to it as today was a bit slick, and it was a tad breezy. The park was cute nearby to walk around even though I couldn't get closer to the lighthouse.

The lighthouse in Sheboygan is a great walk on a beautiful day! Pictures are perfect at sunset towards the city and breathtaking during the sunrise. It's a great family walk from the Harbor Center Marina parking lot and you can also visit the Deland park beach. Make sure to watch the weather and wave report you won't want to go out during high waves.

Today was a peaceful walk out to the lighthouse. The gulls were flocking to the water for feeding time. Small waves crashing into the breakwater.

Very cool place to see. A neat walk out to the lighthouse, though very windy and loud, and make sure to watch your step. The water on either side was different colors, as was the water on the back side of the lighthouse, which was weird. Worth walking out to at least once in your life. If you're in the area, make sure to check it out!

Easy to get to, adequate parking. Great spot to view the big lake.

Love Lake Michigan. We have fished there for a few years now and go out the port every year. It is so beautiful and the lighthouse always gets us back home when done for the day.

Nice little walk to the lighthouse. Be sure to wear water shoes or some type of open toe shoes. Your feet WILL get wet and cold. Jad a good laugh with a local man who was fishing off the side, when he caught a little 3 inch fish off the side of the lighthouse. Locals are so nice here.

A great stop on the Lake Michigan Circle Tour, walking the Landbridge to the Sheboygan Lighthouse is a must do!

Beautiful place and there's a beach to swim a marina to fish so much to see met great people

This is one of my favorite things to recommend to guests traveling to Sheboygan. The walk out and the views are far better than the lighthouse itself in my opinion. When you stand next to the lighthouse and look out you see nothing but water. It feels more like you're on the ocean than a lake. My favorite time to take the walk to the lighthouse is on a warm night in summer right at sunset.

Great for a morning walk, it's better to wear water shoes since your shoes will definitely get wet... Spent a lot of time at the lighthouse just enjoying the calm.. felt so peaceful to be surrounded by water on all sides...
We planned to see the sunrise, but it was cloudy😀 and yet it was worth visiting
Be careful while walking though, it can get really slippery in many places..
