Marshfield Medical Center - Beaver Dam

I went to the ER/Urgent Care with severe stomach pain that had started a week earlier. I had been throwing up anything I ate. From the minute I entered everyone was very kind to me and they got me in to a room very quickly. The two nurses were awesome. I saw 2 different doctors and both were very knowledgeable and got answers to my problems rapidly. The CAT Scan person was also very helpful and kind. By the time I was discharged, I was feeling much better and had a clear understanding of my diagnosis and treatment plan. Thank you to all the intake clerks, nurses and doctors who treated me so well! I really appreciate all you do.

Great staff! The receptionists were attentive and helpful!

Appointment was made by Dr.Baradin receptionist for a ultrasound on 12/11/2023 @ 8: 30 am.
Present a appoint 8:25am. Recieved blue buzzer and told to have a seat. Told when buzzer goes off come to the desk. WAITING 25. Went to desk and CANCELED. NOT PROFESIONAL. Never again.

I am rating the nursing staff of Dr. Amy Muchow as a patient of hers. I have multiple health issues which include a terrible memory recall, so I use MyChart as well as the phone. I have wasted WAY too much time explaining over and over again what is already in my chart that they seem not to care to read before going to the next step of actually trying to answer my questions. I have been judged ridiculed and hung up on several times only to have it happen again. I forgave them the first time, not anymore. I know I have been mistreated, I have had MANY doctors and nurses, there is no excuse.

Beaver dam Marshfield is extremely unprofessional. I’ve had surgery here, and at UW health in Madison. It was two completely different experiences. Madison employees were very knowledgeable and professional. The opposite could be said about Beaver Dam Marshfield employees. Avoid this hospital at all costs if possible.

Went to the ER today with my boyfriend who has been having back pain. Dr Dave Matthews was the doctor on duty. He was very insensitive and not caring whatsoever. It seemed like we were a burden or an inconvenience. Not professional in my opinion especially for an er doctor. I will never go to anything associated with the marshfield affiliation. At 3:30 am, could not get any of the meds to go. The so called medication dispenser was not functional. I would not recommend to anyone to go to the marshfield medical center in beaver dam wi for any medical treatment. Not trustworthy for the caring of any one’s health.

I’m really upset at being physically grabbed/ manhandled by a male nurse at the hospital tonight for absolutely no reason. then when trying to talk to his co worker (who wasn’t there) about what he did to me, said it didn’t happen & when I said it just did- she said, “ok I’m sorrrrry??” she had been rude the whole night anyway. I even pointed at him saying that it was him (he saw me) but he walked away so he knew what he did was wrong.

other than him, they did not keep me informed about where my husband was being taken for medical treatment (or care for him very well while he was there as they were just playing on their phones) so I think the whole thing was a mess on their end & I’m really upset shaking yet from being grabbed like that simply because I wasn’t walking fast enough (no emergencies as he was doing it just because he could). I do have PTSD from being kidnapped & assaulted but this is something no one would ever think is okay). Marshfield Medical Center.

Do you have pain, discomfort, or any other issues? Do you want to pay not only for the doctor you are seeing but also for the location he/she is in? You are in the right place! Get ready to be confused EVERY time you come here by getting 2 bills. Not only that but you also get to wait in the waiting room for an ungodly amount of time… I don’t care about HIPPA, I came in for lower back pain and got Tylenol and muscle relaxers… 2 weeks later I bent over to pay a total of over $300 for something I should “just get” every year for my annual back spasms. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER EVER GO HERE… thanks for robbing me.

Marshfield medical center billing department. Screws ppl out of money. They did it to me in 2020 they owe me 3 to 5 thousand dollars. And they don't care about anything else.

Nobody even close in the area of urgent care. I sat in the room 2 hrs just waiting to leave! Terrible service nothing urgent bout urgent care here.

Why can't they look up the Medicaid number when other facility can?

This hospital is a joke.
